I received an ARC from the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
This was a comprehensive, structured guide on integrating self-care and mindful practices into your life one day at a time. Even though I thought I already knew/had tried every one to ever exist (lol), I actually learned new ones like the twenty-twenty-twenty focus shift and checking your compass. I liked the release practice, let go of control, self check-in, and the idea of pencilling myself into my calendar (which I already did mentally but having it physically there is more helpful in holding me accountable). There are some repetitive-sounding days, practices that are generalized, and activities that not everyone could do (hiking, cooking, writing, because my social worker mind always is looking for EDIA considerations). That being said, this is something I’d recommend to clients who are looking to build coping strategies and a self-care routine. I would like having this at home or in my office even just to pick up and choose a practice at random when I’m feeling like I need some mindfulness in my life.
This is a 90 day of getting to understand yourself, your stresses and to start on your journey of self-care and self-love. It's one idea per day to address and work on, plus a positive affirmation. By allowing this small amount of time for yourself and not everyone else for a change, your showing your important too. We can't be running at 100 percent all the time it effects our bodies and mind. We have to quiet things down, for our minds, and get calmer. I already knew most of them, but it's a great reminder to take time for ourselves.
This would be a great gift with a journal, pen, annotation tabs, bookmark, tea, cup, cozy socks and wonderful smelling candle.
Thank you @netgalley and @harpercelebrate for allowing me to read this book.
This book is absolutely beautiful inside and out. It is just so pretty! I haven't done all 90 days just so that I could do my review but I read through many of them and love it. They are categorized into mind, body and spirit and each activity helps you navigate recognizing stress in your body and how to calm your mind, allowing your spirit to be free and I am here for it! I would absolutely recommend this book and want to get a physical copy for my bookshelf!
Thanks to NetGalley and Harper Celebrate for allowing me to review this ARC!!
First, big thanks to Netgalley and Harper Celebrate for an advanced DRC. Second, I was so impressed with this book, that I bought the hard copy of it. The book is beautifully constructed and makes the reader feel invited, invested and involved.
It’s essentially a 90-day guide to help one combat stress, anxiety, burnout, and negative self-talk. You can read the entire book in one sitting, or you can do one day at a time. Each day will discuss an issue that fits on the page, then a daily affirmation along with a suggested exercise that is generally some form of breathing or journaling or positive self-talk.
I recommend this to all who struggle with anxiety or stress. It’s in a form that makes it easy to reach for the book and just scan the table of contents and choose any day that you believe that message may resonate with you best. Or, work each day in order over the 90 days. Whichever way you do it, the words and exercises are indeed helpful. Great read!! Get it and apply the instructions and information and you will gain some measure of relief.
Well, friends. I did it. I started therapy this year and when I saw this book, I knew I had to grab it to supplement and support what I am learning about myself. While I did speed through the first read-through, I plan on savoring each page–one per day–for the next 90 days and taking these words and assignments into practice. Am I the only one who listens to the 30 seconds of each song in an album before going back to enjoy them fully? Yeah, that’s how I’m going about this book.
I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, and burned out with life. But who has time to find that inner peace? This book gives us exactly that–in just 90 days, with easy, simple, non-time-consuming steps, the calm era can be achieved.
What I love about this book is how it’s formatted. Each day focuses on body, mind, or spirit. A topic is given and explored in just one page and then the next page has an affirmation and an assignment to work on. This feels totally doable. One page, one affirmation, one assignment for ONE DAY.
*I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own and were voluntarily given*
I found this to be a short, easy book filled with mostly common sense activities and exercises to help the reader to experience less stress and anxiety and achieve more calm in life. It's a 90 day book with entries for every one of those 90days. Some build on each other. Some are physical, the reader would benefit from using a journal as there are prompts for that. There is nothing earth shattering in here but it would make a good gift for a new mom or a college student.
Thank you Harper Celebrate for this free NetGalley copy of In my calm era.
I started therapy again this year and when I saw this book it definitely called out to me. Truthfully this book was so helpful and great from page one. If you are trying to find peace in your life and need a guide this is definitely a good book for you!
This was my choice for Camp NetGalley and it couldn’t have come at a better time. We could all use extra tools to help us combat anxiety, stress and negative self talk.
This 90 day guide is an easy way to incorporate positivity into your daily routine. The daily categories consist of Mind, Body or Spirit. Each day is broken down into a topic that is gently and lightheartedly discussed, followed by an affirmation and a quick task to focus on or perform. The topics didn’t feel overly explained, but instead came across as reflective or like you were chatting with a close friend. The daily tasks include ideas such as: an easy meditation practice, taking time to notice nature, enjoying an impromptu dance party or positive self talk exercises to squash the negative criticism. The pages are done in a cute pastel palette, making them uplifting and beautiful to look at as well.
Some of my favorite affirmations: “I breathe in calm, I breathe out stress” “I’m getting my groove back, one day at a time.” “I am committed to protecting my brightness.”
Favorite daily lessons: Sit in Stillness, Look for the Positives, True to Your Heart
This is truly a wonderful guide. Even though I’ve read it in its entirety, I would still purchase it as a tool to reach for on those hard days. It would make a lovely gift for people of all ages.
This book is a 90-day guided journal with the goal of helping readers to reclaim an emotional balance, reduce stress, and reconnect with themselves. I love how this book is set up, and the methods that it provides (such as breathing techniques/box breathing). Its daily structure consists of a short reading, wellness prompt, and some sort of mantra to help ground an individual’s thoughts. It draws readers in with its visual appeal – bright and calming. It engages readers to focus on embodiment. It is also realistic, and it is structured for daily use. For me and others, I think that it could be a useful tool. You can complete 90 days, restart, and reflect.
I didn’t want to wait till the full 90 days to review this book because I can already tell that it’s one I really like. I like that yiu have a reading, a small guide and mantra for each 90 day. I just wish you could do a full 365 and maybe a journal option .
The authors and/or compilers of In My Calm Era at Harper Celebrate clearly know a thing or two about stress, anxiety, and mental health and well-being. This compact book, set up in a style that provides a daily reading, affirmation, and exercise or practice, is absolutely full of excellent ideas, helpful suggestions, useful tips, and heartfelt support, all designed to come alongside readers and say, "We see you, friend. We've been there, too. We're here for you. And here's how you can begin to be there for yourself as well."
Each day for ninety days, readers will experience a short (one page long --- the authors really do understand what everybody's life looks like these days!) passage that has the potential to gently inspire, lightheartedly challenge, and generously undergird their own personal journey in mental health and well-being. (After all, who doesn't at the very least have some questions about how in today's world we're supposed to even find this rare "calm," let alone begin to create it for ourselves?) The daily sections are categorized for either a body-focused or a mind-focused approach, which makes the content overall well-balanced and -nuanced. By going further and incorporating a daily affirmation and a practice or technique (in mindfulness, intentionality, awareness, creativity, rest, and many more related topics) related to the just-read passage, readers have several opportunities to feel the content "land" or "settle" for them in whatever way best meets their respective needs.
People who are well-versed in the vocabulary of mindfulness and mental health may well be familiar with much of the book's content, and so they may find that it repeats information they already know; or they (as I found to be true for myself) may find that they appreciate and enjoy the handiness of having a lot of familiar information neatly condensed into such a readable, accessible format as this one.
People who are just starting their journey into subjects like mental well-being, mindfulness, and somatic practices, especially with an eye toward supporting stress and anxiety, may really value the book for its myriad approachable ideas and the genuine compassion with which it is written. (Again, these authors clearly know whereof they speak, and from personal experience.)
I recommend this book very highly to both of the aforementioned types of readers as well as to readers who fall somewhere in between. At the least, material this important in five to ten minutes a day seems like an excellent starting place toward supporting your journey to mental well-being.
Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of this book (with my thanks) from the publishers via NetGalley in exchange for an honest, though not necessarily positive, review. The opinions expressed herein are my own.
I enjoyed this book! Because I was reviewing it, I read it in a relatively short period of time but that doesn't mean it wasn't effective! I had the choice of a selection of books and this one was staring me in the face as if to say "Pick me!" I was not disappointed. I'm very aware I've had a period of significant stress for the past few years and it will not be letting up any time soon. I can't take care of others if I'm not fully taking care of myself.
"In My Calm Era" is meant to be read once a day. Each day is short, to the point and relatable. The actions/affirmations are sound and I know some of them I'm already doing, but a reminder never hurts! While this book is likely intended for adults, a teen would definitely benefit from the information presented. It is not overwhelming or preachy. Many of the mindfulness techniques do not take a lot of time, but are very effective. I'm guilty of reading on my phone before bed, using my phone for an alarm, and checking my phone first thing. This is one practice I want to change immediately. Many of the affirmations spoke to me, but some standouts are: "I can lean on people I love without guilt", "I will return to my body whenever my mind races", "I will not skip ahead to the end of the story", and "I am productive when I pause and do not need to rush."
It is so easy to become overwhelmed and burnout. Prolonged periods of stress can be so incredibly tough on our bodies and our mental health, Taking time to find your calm in the midst of chaos is so important. Most of us won't carry around a book like this to reference when things get tough, but I guarantee some of the techniques suggested will pop into your head when you need it the most. I purchased a hard copy of this book as my family will benefit from the clear and concise manner in which the information is presented as we navigate the toughest waters we have experienced to date. Even our tween and teen will be able to employ many of the techniques presented.
Thank you to Harper Celebrate and NetGalley for the e-ARC in exchange for an honest review.
In My Calm Era: 90 Days to Organize Your Emotions, Stress Less, and Connect Back to You (The New Era of You) is a beautiful experience of a book, packed with empathy, bite-sized information for an already stressed mind, and most importantly, actionable steps, which you could employ by reading this book in a few days, or which you could carry with you while exploring this book over the slow, meaningful course of 90 days.
I read this book quickly so that I could offer a review, and I already took a lot from it, but I enjoyed it so much, that I actually am going to commit to going back and reading the book over the course of 90 days to really dig in. I read the ebook edition quickly, but I hope to acquire a paperback copy so I can write in it, take extra notes and journal a little, and bookmark it.
I also want to specifically shout out the author and the publication for the gorgeous presentation of this book. The cover, the font stylistics, and the internal color and design, are all eye-catching, utterly lovely, and calming in just the way that I needed while going through the journey of this book. It's a great example of how quality presentation can elevate the text and take it to a new place.
If you're a little bit like me and feeling exceedingly stressed and unsure what to DO with it, I'm going to be totally cliché and say that you need to pick up a journal---but I'm going to amend that and say that you should specifically pick up this one. It's beautifully, thoughtfully, and empathetically rendered, it does a great job of unpacking various modes of stress and emotion and how to cope with them, and the action steps and reflective questions throughout are broad enough for each individual to personalize to themselves, while also being specific and measurable enough that the reader can use them to take meaningful action.
Thank you to Netgalley and Harper Celebrate for sharing this book with me. It was such an experience.
"In some seasons of life, just getting through the day can feel brutal"
"We live in a world that values forward motion and productivity,so it's important to reframe how you think about taking a quiet moment for yourself."
That first quote is so relatable. I had a general idea of what I thought this book would be when I began reading it, and for the most part it was spot on. However, I was impressed with the amount of actual helpful exercises contained within it's pages. While a bunch of them were things I had previous knowledge of, or some variation of, I was pleasantly surprised to find exercises I would've never even considered being an option.
I really loved that the author included an affirmation with each exercise. It helps to keep your focus on the exercise. With 90 days worth of exercises to help calm your mind and general recenter yourself for a healthier mind and body, there is definitely something for everyone in here. I'm honestly willing to bet that most people will find a lot of these exercises very helpful in their daily life. (I especially love the exercise that gave a change up of focus about halfway through, it really helps put things into perspective.) This was a quick and pleasant read and I have already started incorporating some of the new techniques alongside the ones I already knew. Thank you Harper Celebrate and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this wonderful piece. My opinions contained in this review are my own and with that being said, I HIGHLY suggest this book to anyone and everyone willing to give it a read.
The title says it all! This short volume can be used as a daily reflection or read straight through to help inspire a relaxed state of mind.
Harper Celebrate is the gift book imprint from HarperCollins, and this book lives up to that focus: it contains many formatting enhancements you'd expect from a gift book, like certain pages with a coloured background or coloured font, and the use of a variety of fonts, pictures, images, and icons throughout. I did, however, have a hard time reading some of the coloured fonts. This is "Swifties" coded at times and feminine in style, though anyone can take something away from the messaging. While nothing is unique about the messaging (which is very basic, generalized, and somewhat repetitive over the course of the book), the introduction recommends pairing this with a journal, and I think this is the strength of the format, as each of the entries contains text, a practical strategy, and an affirmation.
I prefer my self-help to be grounded in science and research, and while there is a list of notes containing references at the end, they point to popular magazine and website sources and though numbered aren't connected in text to the entries at all. Indeed, there isn't even an author attached to this!
Still, if you're looking for a cute book with a positive message to gift to your bestie, then this might just be it!
Thank you to Netgalley and Harper Celebrate for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.
A beautifully designed beginner’s guide to intentional self-care.
In My Calm Era stands out because it doesn’t pretend to be a one-size-fits-all wellness solution—it’s an approachable 90-day framework for anyone looking to create moments of calm, reset their mindset, and build a daily habit of self-reflection. What makes this book different is its visual design—the pages are bright, uplifting, and structured in a way that feels like a personal journal companion rather than a textbook on mental health. It’s the type of book you want to leave on your coffee table, ready to pick up whenever you need an extra dose of grounding.
Each day includes a short, inspiring reflection, a prompt or activity to help you slow down and connect with yourself, and a mantra to keep in mind. These bite-sized entries make it easy to fit into a busy schedule, and I think that’s where the book shines.
That said, I wouldn’t recommend this as an e-book. The tactile, visually rich experience is part of what makes it so impactful. I also found that if you’re already experienced in therapy, journaling, or managing stress (especially as someone who’s neurodivergent), some sections might feel too introductory. It’s designed for readers starting out on their mental wellness journey rather than those looking for deep psychological insight.
Still, its charm lies in its simplicity and its ability to give you space to pause, breathe, and focus on yourself.
Thank you NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
In My Calm Era by Harper Celebrate is an absolute gem for anyone looking to manage stress and anxiety in a practical, thoughtful way. What really stood out to me was how each day of the book offered a new exercise or tool to help center yourself. It’s not just about reading; it’s about actively engaging with the material and making a real shift in your mindset.
The exercises range from simple breathing techniques to reflective prompts, and I love how they’re structured so that they never feel overwhelming. It’s like having a calm, reassuring guide with you every day. The best part? This isn’t a book you read once and forget about. It’s something you’ll keep coming back to, especially when you’re feeling stressed or need a quick reset. It’s going to be my go-to whenever I’m feeling overwhelmed and just need to take a breather.
The writing is soothing and relatable, which makes it easy to connect with. Harper Celebrate really knows how to create a sense of calm through words, and you can tell this book is meant to be a tool for real, long-term peace, not just a quick fix. I also really loved how every day finished with an affirmation to keep you in a positive mindset.
If you're looking for a book that offers both practical advice and emotional support, this is it. In My Calm Era is a must-have for anyone who needs to slow down and take control of their mental health.
It's time to embark on a New Era of You, and In My Calm Era is the perfect place to start your journey to mental and physical wellness. With a few minutes each morning, you'll learn how to fight back against anxiety and overwhelm and learn to reclaim the best version of you in just 90 days. It's amazing how much good you can do when you prioritize your mental wellness and choose yourself to be the main character of your life.
This was a great start for your average person with everyday stressors or for a person newly diagnosed with mild anxiety. As someone who has experienced anxiety for many years and is also raising a child with significant anxiety issues, I didn't find this information as helpful as someone else may. Much of the information was knowledge I already held or have practiced for many years by now. But, if I were just starting out on my journey, I would have found this book very useful. I read this book in a few days, but reading just a little bit as intended over the course of 90 days would have built very useful skills for a beginner. The affirmations throughout the book and the exercises it leads you through are very helpful and informative. I definitely would recommend this book to others. Good read.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a free copy in exchange for my honest review!
A book promising 90 days of daily steps to feel more calm, definitely appealed to me. I didn’t do it in real time but looked through quickly and will now work my way through each day because I love a day by day book. Beautiful pages. None of it is rocket science, pulling on lots of different psychological therapies theory. Even for people who have had formal therapy or even those rare people who have an already calm life I think this book very helpful. It is an excellent way to ensure these techniques are part of our day to day life. Without practice even the most effective skills are pretty useless. A book I would recommend to everyone and I think would make a lovely present. The pages are attractive and each day is split into 3 sections, information which often includes techniques and exercises then another separate box which gives you a stand alone exercise that embodies the day and an affirmation. I think the way this is done makes it not feel overwhelming. If you were having a hard day you could just look at one part or even read the first section in the morning, the box in the afternoon and then the affirmation in the evening. I think the bite size visuals are really helpful. Thank you to NetGalley for providing this book for my consideration these are all my own rambling, honest and personal opinions
This book has already been released but I was able to get a copy from #netgalley and #harpercelebrate. Within 4 chapters, I purchased the book for my own library. I have read some reviews about it being "basic" and for individuals who are newer to self care/self healing and I would have to disagree. I have been working on my mental and emotional health for quite a few years. While some of these are "common sense" (another phrase from the reviews I read), some brought a different perspective. What I loved about it this book is that, you can use it daily which is how I used the book. Every day, I would make a concious effort to go into the netgalley reader and read that day's prompt. It's undated and after you finish the 30 days, you can go in and go through another 30 days. Life gets busy and some days you feel like you are just putting one foot in front of the other to get through everything but using this book in that way, forced me to take 5 minutes and focus on myself. I loved day 1 to just get up and shake it off. My dog loved it too! I am in no way a reader of self help books as I find them quite boring but there are a few that I have read and truly enjoyed and found useful.
I would recommend this to anyone that wants to take 5 minutes of their day to just focus on themselves.
This book is beautiful and I love the affirmations! Sometimes when we're stuck, we really don't know what to do or where to start to become unstuck. This book breaks it down into manageable pieces perfect for those eras where even opening your eyes feels like a challenge. I love that it starts super basic with breathing exercises and progresses from there. Sometimes, we DO need that reminder to take it back to simplicity. The affirmations are simple, so easy to remember, but filled with so much meaning.
We don't need to be perfect, nor have all our ducks in a row. It's okay to sit back, take a breath, and sort through our feelings. This book is perfect for that. It doesn't give you "groundbreaking" information but helps to re-establish a once neglected self-care toolbox to better regulate your life. Personally, I'm someone who decides when it's time to clean a room, I'm going to DEEP clean every nook and cranny in a single day, but this reminded me that it's okay to break it up into multiple projects. Progress is progress.
I will end with this-- the reminder to have a positive outlook is more important now than ever before. If you're an anxious girl like me, who overthinks, is constantly overstimulated, and always teetering on the precipice of an epic crash out, give this book a try. Why not take the next 90 days to embrace your calm? It's better than the alternative!
In My Calm Era is a gentle, beautifully designed guided journal that invites readers into a more mindful, centered version of themselves. With a thoughtful blend of prompts, affirmations, and reflective exercises, this journal offers a safe space to pause, breathe, and reconnect.
What stands out most is the calming tone that carries through every page. The language is encouraging without being overly sentimental, and the layout is clean and aesthetically pleasing—perfect for those who want to make journaling a daily ritual.
Each section is intentionally structured to guide you through different areas of emotional and mental wellness, from gratitude and self-discovery to rest and self-compassion. It doesn’t assume prior experience with journaling or mindfulness, making it accessible for beginners while still being meaningful for those more practiced.
This journal is ideal for anyone looking to slow down and be more present in their day-to-day life. Whether you’re navigating a busy season or simply want to build healthier inner habits, In My Calm Era offers a peaceful starting point.
Thank you to Harper Celebrate and NetGalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Love this self care guide for focused relaxation! I thought the authors name was appropriate as well-'let's celebrate ourselves, rather than burning out', and of course the title is a take on that Taylor Swift song. All that aside, this is a structured 90-day program to help you alleviate stress, and focus on you! So hard to do at times in our 24x7 work lifestyle, where you feel you must respond to all emails, no matter what time they come in. Each day she describes a goal 'find your breath', or 'sit in stillness', and then provides the exercises to do so.
Even if you don't follow the book exactly for 90 days straight, you can go to a random day of the series and practice that principle. Feeling extra frazzled, call a time out, go for a walk, start practicing meditation. The physical movements and exercises that are included just reinforce the goal of each day. Soon you'll be releasing your pent up stress and breathing more freely! I especially liked day 10, whose theme was 'clear out the clutter'. The author stresses that if your space is cluttered, so is your brain. Cleaning one small space at a time will make a big difference. Dedicating 5-10 minutes to do so also makes me feel like I've accomplished something.
In My Calm Era is a gentle, approachable guide for managing stress and anxiety. Structured as a 90-day challenge, it introduces a daily topic, explains why you might feel a certain way, offers a simple activity to try, and ends with a positive affirmation. I liked how it breaks things down into small, doable steps, making it easy to stick with.
This isn’t a deep or highly original book—it gathers familiar self-care tips that many may already know. At times it feels a bit generic, and I wished it included space for journaling or more interactive elements to make it feel more personal. That said, its strength lies in how it organizes these ideas into a clear, daily routine.
It’s best suited for people who are new to stress-management techniques or want a light, low-pressure way to build healthier habits. Think of it as a “pocket companion” to keep you grounded—helpful for mild burnout, but not a replacement for deeper, more robust approaches if you’re facing serious stress or anxiety.
Overall, it’s a calming, easy-to-follow resource that encourages positive self-talk and gentle self-reflection. If you want a simple daily practice to help you feel more balanced, this book is a good place to start.
I picked up “In My Calm Era” by Harper Celebrate, hoping for something a little different from the usual self-help books, and for the most part, it succeeds. The book touches on practical things like box breathing and the importance of moving every day, and not having overly high expectations.
This book has 90 readings for 90 days. There’s a real focus on stillness without feeling too preachy, and many of the affirmations genuinely resonated with me. Some of the more cheery affirmations, especially the ones about finding silver linings in hard times, felt a little out of touch, though, like some affirmations tend to do.
One thing the book gets right is its honest take on the stress spiral, which isn’t always covered in this kind of book. Still, this is written for folks whose basic needs are already met. If you’re juggling three jobs with a chronic illness and barely catch your breath, this won’t feel very relatable. And honestly, if you’re over 25, you’ve probably heard most of this advice before, like creating gratitude lists, smiling, and getting enough sleep. But sometimes a gentle reminder is exactly what you need. If you find yourself caught in an anxiety loop, there’s comfort here.
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Harper Celebrate Books for this gifted copy!
I absolutely love love love this book. Words can’t even describe how amazing it is! From the title (I’m always saying I’m in my reading era, hockey romance era, or even my poolside era 🌊📚) to the colorful pages that instantly draw you in, it just radiates joy. The design makes me want to keep flipping through, and honestly, I love it so much that I plan to buy a physical copy for myself.
This is a 90-day journey, filled with thoughtful prompts, reminders, and activities that help ease stress and bring calm into your daily life. As someone who carries a lot of stress and anxiety, I’ve found it so grounding to work my way through it. Even when you already know some of the tools, there’s something powerful about having them right in front of you, and I even learned new practices along the way. And did I mention the colors?! 😍
Some of the activities I especially loved were: ✨ Practice Release ✨ Pause the Productivity ✨ Move Through It
Each one was exactly what I needed in the moment. 💫
If you’re looking for something uplifting, practical, and beautiful, In My Calm Era is the perfect addition to your bookshelf.
Thank you to Harper Celebrate and Netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review!
In My Calm Era ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
At first I was a bit hesitant when I realized this book was not able to be sent to my kindle. But after opening, I definitely see why! This is by far the most aesthetically pleasing self-help book I've ever seen! It is a 90-day guide that takes you through daily things that you can do to boost calmness in your day-to-day life.
What I love about this is it breaks it down in such a simple way that it feels impossible not to follow through. If each day, all I have to commit to is a single (pretty) page, then I have no reason to give it a shot! I definitely read ahead rather than follow this day by day, but I was very impressed with the small challenges and prompts that gently hand-feed you the basics.
My favorite thing? The aesthetic. Whoever the graphic designer for this book is, they need a RAISE! I think the aesthetic was the most drawing and motivating part, and would definitely help motivate me to read a page a day.
Overall, a really fun way to work on yourself and enter your calm era ✨
In My Calm Era is a gentle, encouraging guide designed to help readers invite more peace into their daily lives over the course of 90 days. With its simple structure—offering a short daily passage, a calming activity, and a thoughtful affirmation—this book provides a beautifully accessible way to reset and establish a more mindful, intentional routine.
I found the affirmations especially helpful: clear, uplifting, and easy to carry throughout the day. The suggested activities were not only calming but also enjoyable, making it feel less like a chore and more like a self-care ritual I looked forward to.
One feature I’d love to see in a future edition is a workbook format. Being able to journal directly within each day’s page would make the experience even more reflective and personal. Having a designated space to track thoughts, progress, or mood would really enhance the benefits of this already impactful book.
Whether you’re going through a stressful season or simply want to be more grounded and present, In My Calm Era is a lovely companion to guide you toward stillness, one day at a time.
ARC Review @ NetGalley This book is pure soothing energy. Every time I opened it, I felt more grounded, more intentional, and more like the version of myself I’m always striving to be.
Each page offers a gentle yet powerful reminder to care for your mind, body, and spirit. Some days, it encourages movement and getting back into your body. Other days, it focuses on stillness, reflection, and inner calm. It’s beautifully balanced—whether you’re in need of a reset, a mood boost, or just a moment of peace.
✨ This isn’t just a one-time read—it’s a book I’ll be coming back to again and again. Whether I need a mindful moment in the morning or a wind-down ritual at night, In My Calm Era delivers every time.
