When the will of the gods and wishes of men collide, kingdoms go to war and innocents die. A new prophecy foretells the rise of an empire, but is the gods’ will certain?
Amidst the world in turmoil, Ryker, a loyal imperial soldier devastated by family treachery, must decide what is worth fighting for. Princess Freya passionately defends her family’s right to rule, but will she risk destroying the kingdom for love? Princess Vivian has always lived under the shadow of her younger sister, Aida. During the ever rising conflict, she is offered a power beyond her dreams, while her family and kingdom begin to crumble.
The world is divided, and their choices will shape the course of Eavdamos forever.
There was a lot of world building in this book. It followed 3 main characters Ryker, Freya, and Vivian. Each one from a different kingdom and on different sides of the war in Eavdamos. I look forward to reading the rest of this series as they are released in the future. There is lots of love, sadness, and whatever awaits these characters in the future of the series.
This book was so good! The characters engaging, the world was so descriptive, and the plot was enthralling! It’s a really good book for fantasy action lovers but still had a really good romantic subplot!
Pleasantly surprised as fantasy isn’t my go to genre. Loved the character development and dialogue. Brooke did a great job blending tension and heart, making it hard to put down. While a few plot points could’ve used more depth, overall it’s a compelling read that doesn’t disappoint!
This book has a strong idea behind the storyline. I felt many parts were rushed and I feel some key story points were missed. The author does a good job using descriptive words to keep your imagination going.
This suprised me! I loved how descriptive the writing was. It enhanced the reading and experience. The character development was amazing as well, I can’t wait for the next book to come out!
