Heartfelt story

I could not put this book down. It was an emotional roller-coaster of hurt and betrayal. Dare deserved to become whole again. Some plots were unexpected. Well written.

I really loved this book (read it in a day!). I was completely drawn into the lives of Dare and James. Two boys from very different families that forge a powerful friendship that bonds them for life. I found myself so moved by what their connection means to both of them. Dare's horrific family life makes James his savior. But despite James being completely loved, Dare is no less a savior to him in return. The final few chapters really pulled me in. I definitely recommend this book!

Story of trust and love

It has been a long time since I finished a book of this size in 24 hours. I WS caught up in the life of the characters. The instant bond between James and Dare was obvious. Lack of trust really causes more problems than it avoids although nobody can fault Dare. I loved that I figured out part of the history but was happy that I didn't figure it all out. I will say that I finished this awesome book with tears running down my face

A very good story!!!

I guess everyone has known a Dare in their lifetime. Someone who comes from a bad home life. The story really was a good one. I encourage everyone to give it a read.
