HELLO? EXCUSE ME? WTH!!! Yes I said what I said cause what did simran put into this book like it was freaking addictive and I mean it. I just couldn’t put my kindle down or even a second. Simran you had me hooked from the moment I read the first word to the last word of the epilogue cause DAMNNNNN GURLLL ily for giving us Kingston and Twinkle they are definitely meant for each other I assure you. The plot , the story line , the spice was absolutely amazing and perfect. Ahhh I can’t stop thinking about it now. Also I think I and King would have been a couple in another life cause damn girl I love my man k!nky and down and for me which is exactly what king is the perfect man. And not to forget I will be twinkle in another life cause her and me ahhh girl we into the same stuff. Heheheeh but most likely I’ll steal king from you lol. 😂
Guys i promise you simran will never disappoint you and she has never disappointed me in her books and her writing. She’s so amazing you all. Now why tf would she name the FMC Twinkle... I almost DNF just because of that reason, I would rather her name been Susan??? Every time I had to read her name, I physically cringed. Ugh. Truly minus 100 points for that.

This entire book, unfortunately, hinges on a setup that makes absolutely no sense. Twinkle goes in her friend Tina's place, who is from and lives in India, to a date her mother set up through a matchmaking company. The date is with a man who we end up realizing isnt from India, doesn't live in India, has no intention of living in India, and can easily choose not to go on a date as no one is forcing him. So why is he using a matchmaker? We never know.
If you completely ignore that entire premise of the novel, you still get stuck on some pretty major plot, dialogue, and general life comprehension issues. For example, a home cook is not a pastry chef. Offering to step in as a pastry chef in a bougie high-end resort and making pancakes, banana bread, and brownies is not impressive. Ordering "the sushi" in a sushi restaurant will not result in them magically knowing your order. Also, there are no trial rooms in sex toy shops, and no, you can't open the sex toys and use them before purchasing. Also, sauerkraut is not a meat, potato, and veg dish - it's fermented cabbage. This is written as if the author has very little external life experience in these specific instances and is guessing when it comes to how these scenarios would play out. That makes it baffling and unrealistic and pulled me right out of the story multiple times, despite wanting to be engaged by the characters.
Also, I can see what the author is trying to do with the spice, but multiple scenes don't logistically make sense, nor physically. No, you can't come from someone standing across the room saying words to you. No, you won't drip onto the floor the moment you're turned on, and no, going ass to mouth is not gonna be hot or taste fine, especially when it's all done on a whim. That's asking for an infection and so incredibly gross. I'm not kink shaming - I'm kink concerned. I was cringing and gasping and yelling OMG NO! multiple times reading this. I love BDSM and dark romance books, and I'm used to messed-up kink. But this? It was not only eye-rollingly unrealistic but sadly gross. It also felt like the author couldn't decide what dynamic she wanted. We get master slave, then halfway thought it swaps to a DDLG dynamic? Then it just stays that way despite her whole intro to the book being about how much she wants to be a slave. I love both dynamics, but this was such a jarring choice to do a hard left into a new one midway through.
All in all, the story is unengaging, with smut and dates interspersed with embarrassingly cringe pet names right out of the gate that stick around and continue to get worse. The male lead doesn't speak like an actual human man, and the internal conflict felt pointless. Even the main end twist lasted all of a page or two and then was immediately resolved.
If you want to just get off and completely ignore reality, this could definitely work for you. If you want some realism to your spice, maybe grab something else.

What an Addictive Read!
From the first page to the last word of the epilogue, this book had me completely hooked. The chemistry between Kingston and Twinkle was incredible—they’re truly made for each other. The story was engaging, the plot well-paced, and the romance had just the right amount of spice.
Twinkle is such a relatable character, and King is the perfect match for her. Honestly, I loved how their story unfolded, and I couldn’t stop thinking about them even after I finished.
If you’re in the mood for a fun and spicy holiday romance, this book is perfect. The tropes—holiday romance, interracial couple, and forced proximity—are beautifully written, and the story is so worth your time.

I think it's original, fun, and overall entretaining.
The storyline is interesting and the character dynamics are fun to read, besides for a novella it follows a very steady storyline with a dramatic twist that spices everything up.
The spice is amazing, i love the micro trope of naughty to do list and the author really nailed all the scenes with original and steamy moments.
I would love to read more of this world, tina and julian perhaps?

This book was just like the other books for me. Simran decided to drop a holiday romance, and I read it. The writing was good, king was a likeable character, and I did feel that the mystery and identity of king was a bit dragged, but other than that, it was good, the spice was amazing. I don’t have much to say, but this book was an easy read, something to relax and finish reading quickly. I also did skip some of the parts because the book was a just bit boring or bland. I don’t hate the book, or the author, I still love simran’s writing and stories, this one was just an okay read for me. Although Simran does exceed the spice expectations each time with every book I read.

Tis The Season of Wicked Deeds was a fun holiday themed bundle of spice. I was more into the woman is participating in conning a man part of the synopsis and was a teeny bit disappointed that wasn’t more of the story line, though it does play a part of the story.
The spicy scenes set in Switzerland at Christmas time are just marvelous. The description made me really be able to visualize the scenes which I always appreciate in a book. This was a fun, short story that had me turning pages so fast.

Twinkle was just supposed to do her best friend a favor - go on a date, pose as her friend and get the guy to dislike her enough that he never bothers her friend again. Unfortunately what happened was well, not really the plan. Now Twinkle's here in Switzerland faced with the guy she hasn't been able to get off her mind since that date. And he's set on fulfilling every single dirty fantasy on her list that he wasn't supposed to see. She should be able to keep her heart safe, though, because there's no way this beautiful man and Twinkle could ever make a relationship work when they live in different countries, and she still hasn't told her friend what happened on that date all those months ago.
Kingston too hasn't been able to get this beautiful woman off his mind and he's obsessed with another chance. Now they're in Switzerland together and he's determined to seize that chance to make his Star his and only his. He just can't tell her that little tiny thing he may have kept from her. And he might have to move heaven and earth to keep her when she finds out...
Whew! This is one naughty Christmas story! Twinkle and King have the most insane chemistry, they practically set my Kindle on fire with their shenanigans, but at the center is a real, solid emotional connection that their physical bond couldn't disguise. I knew from their first witty words to each other that there was no way they weren't going to fall madly in love, thank God I was right because if ever a naughty, downright dirty couple deserved to fall in love with each other, it's King and his Star.

Simran is know for her dark spice romance, and although this is not a dark romance it will not disappoint on the SPICY meter. I devoured the story, it was so addictive.
Twinkle’s best friend, Tina, asks her to pretend to be her on an arranged date her mother set up to find a husband. Tina is not ready for marriage, so she asks Twinkle to get the guy to despise her so there’s not a second date. Twinkle ends up agreeing, regretting it instantly when she meets Tina’s date. The guy is perfect for her and chemistry is off the charts but she ends up getting him to agree they are not good for each other.
Fast forward a few months, Twinkle is at Switzerland for a week solo Holiday trip and she finds the guy she was enchanted by, Tina’s date, Kingston. He finds her naughty bucket list by accident and exchanges a date for a fantasy. They spend all week full-filling the fantasies and getting to know each other.
Twinkle and Kingston are meant for each other! Those two have an undeniable attraction for each other, and it’s evident to anyone who sees them. Their story had me blushing, giggling, and overall enjoying every page of it. I loved the twist that was thrown, it had my jaw on the floor. Simran you did it again!!
If you are up for a Holiday spicy romance, this is your book! Anything Simran writes is pure perfection!

OMG! This was so freaking spicy, incredibly sweet and insanely entertaining from start to finish. I devoured it in one sitting and fell hopelessly in love with these amazing characters.

She convinces Twinkle to pretend she is her friend and scare off her arranged date. The problem? Twinkle didn’t expect that she would want the hot tattooed man in front of her all to herself. And the even bigger problem? She finds herself in very close proximity to Kingston on her solo trip to Switzerland during the holidays. Here she thought this tríp would be her chance to find a hot stranger to help her with a very naughty and kinky list…not the man she’s lusting over and can’t really have.
Their chemistry is so hot! And the spice is spicing. It’s a five alarm fire! And I don’t know how but Simran created this MMC who is a combination of hot and kinky but also a golden retriever. Trust the story: Go in blind if you can
Simran has done it again-made me fall in love with another one of her leading men. If triggers aren’t anything to worry about I strongly recommend staying surprised and not reading the trigger list at the front.
I was initially weary when the description talked about conning him and wasn’t sure if I would mesh well with the story. I am elated that I was so wrong. I am obsessed and consistently overjoyed every time I read one of her stories.
The timing of this book launch between the holidays was pure perfection. Even outside of the season you really could get away with reading it anytime of the year. She always does a fantastically fills in all the cultural points within her book and makes me itch to use my passport.
Twinkle and Kingston spiced up this plot and had me fanning to bring down the temperature. Another man obsessed and willing to go the distance to secure his place in woman’s fantasies and life. Screaming in love over these two. Another permanent favorite for me!

When the book starts with a message about how spicy it is, do not ignore it because this book was purse SPICE and then some. Kingston is epically hot. Like insanely hot by book boyfriend standards - not only is he attractive, but he is attentive, protective, and head over heels for his darling. What started as a ploy to help her friend out and blow off a date, Twinkle falls literally head over heels for a stranger. But she can’t act on it because she is supposed to be impersonating her friend and rejecting this gorgeous man. Fast forward to six months later, and a chance encounter has these two exploring other options.
The spice in this book is supreme in that it grabs you and holds you in its clutches. I could not stop reading once I started. As my first read of Simrans, I will definitely be on the lookout for more books if they are just as good as this one!

I’ve long been a fan of Author Simran’s books and was thrilled to get my hands on the holiday story “Tis the Season of Wicked Deeds.” Though not a dark romance as her other works, I fell in love with the characters, the story, and the overall vibe.
Twinkle’s character has a tough exterior and can hold her own, yet she has a vulnerable side. That is shown in the first chapter when she meets her date, but she’s posing as her best friend as a favor with the intent of being a bad date, so there won’t be a second one. I can’t tell you how much I loved this scene and how it set the tone for the rest of the story.
Simran is known for writing off-the-chart steamy scenes, and there was no shortage of that in “Tis the Season of Wicked Deeds.” The way Julian fell for Twinkle and truly wooed her was romance and steam at its finest. I had a smile on my face for most of the book, and even through the little bit of the plot twist that was thrown in. I loved this story so much.

From the beginning you could feel the tension and chemistry between these two. Twinkle is extremely relatable and I loved her and Kingston, my King, that kinky filthy man 😮💨 but also had a sweet side to him as well.
King knew what he wanted and he pulled out all the stops to make her fall in love with him. I loved watching them interact, their banter was hilarious and watching Twinkle slowly fall in love was everything.

I was completely drawn in to this one as soon as I spotted the super wintery front cover ....and that title.....had me wondering.....
This was a great pick for my winter/December reads as being mainly set in Zermatt, this gave me all the cold and snowy feels I love at this time of year.
As soon as we meet Twinkle and Kingston, I knew that we were going to be in for a wild ride - the chemistry jumping off the page and things definitely get quite spicy throughout this one!
I loved the way they met and after that first date, I wondered whether K would actually be the mmc that we'd follow.
As fate intervenes and they meet again, we see things develop swiftly from then on.
The writing style was perfect for the genre - making this an easy read and one that I raced through.
I loved the development of the relationship and the presentation of the characters and the setting.
The only thing missing for me was that I just couldn't connect with Twinkle because of her name!
Absolutely nothing against the name as such - but I had a cute kids book with a Twinkle in it and having never seen it used since, I just couldn't separate the two in my head - which really didn't gel with the themes of both books!
Totally a me thing - and I tried to rename and read accordingly once the spice started!!
A fun read which was addictive once I'd picked it up!

This was a great pick for my winter/December reads as being mainly set in Zermatt, this gave me all the cold and snowy feels I love at this time of year.
As soon as we meet Twinkle and Kingston, I knew that we were going to be in for a wild ride - the chemistry jumping off the page and things definitely get quite spicy throughout this one!
I loved the way they met and after that first date, I wondered whether K would actually be the mmc that we'd follow.
As fate intervenes and they meet again, we see things develop swiftly from then on.
