Kasper’s looking for milk and finds his new Daddy.
Kasper loves exploring his new found Little side. He enjoys the clothes, the toys, the sexy Daddies who want to play with him at the club. It’s all great with one exception—he wants a bottle but is allergic to cow’s milk. He’s tried alternatives, and they are fine for his coffee, but in his bottle they just don’t cut it. When he hears about men who lactate and sell their milk, Kasper wonders if he finally found the solution he’s been waiting for.
Shawn has been watching Kasper play at the club for weeks. He yearns to ask him to do a scene or go on a date, but Shawn has a He lactates. No boy is going to want a Daddy like that. They want strong, confident, sexy men, not ones who leak milk during naked times. He should know—he’s been rejected every time he’s been brave enough to share his secret. It’s best to keep his distance—that way no one will get hurt.
When Shawn gets a new customer for his milk, he’s surprised to see Kasper at his door. Maybe he can be the Daddy Kasper needs after all.
Milk For His Little is the twelfth book in The Lactin Brotherhood series written by your favorite M/M authors. Milk for His Little features a Little looking to fill his bottle, sweet Daddy-Little time, getting milk directly from the source, and a guaranteed happy ever after. While Harper B Cole and Colbie Dunbar (writing as Harper Dunbar) are best known for their mpreg, this story takes place in Alex Blaine’s world where some men lactate and male pregnancy is not possible. Milk For His Little can be read as a stand-alone, but why stop there? Check out the entire series today!
Genuine question, how many times can authors write virtually the same story? That sounds really mean but there are a lot of stories in this series(?) and while they are by different authors, their styles don't vary enough to warrant so many books. I would know, I've read a lot of these authors.
Okay, I just had to get that out there. On the review.
You know when you open a chip bag and get annoyed that it's essentially a third air, that was pretty much this book but somehow worse. Yes it's a fluffy cute DDlb story but there was no substance, no meaning. I'm not looking for some great deeper meaning in these books, but I want this to mean something to the characters. I want this to be in all consuming love for them and I just didn't get that. I'm using the term character loosely because these were essentially cardboard cutouts with names. There's no physical characteristics or traits. Nothing about them that feels real and grounding. They're just nebulous concepts of Daddy and little and that's their entire character, story, and arc. That's fine for a fixlet but in something this long it's not very interesting ends up being pretty boring.
There's also a lot in here that is kind of confusing. Like how did Kasper have a crib at Shawn's place? Or how did Shawn suddenly have his pump stuff at Casper's place? There was very little directional and setting markers so you didn't really know where things we're taking place. I'm not saying this needs to be flowery but some details and proper nouns would have been nice.
I do think there's an audience for these shorts. They are extremely fluffy (to the point there's no substance) and very low angst And a lot of people enjoy stuff like that. I just need more and I need the writing to be a lot better. I don't want to harp on it but it's pretty bad, seriously, how are there no basic setting markers or even character descriptions? Make up a job and say he is brown hair. Do something. So not only was the writing bad, it's lazy! I'm getting heated. I need to leave now.

1st Person, Dual POV 3rd Act Break Up: No Slow-burn: No HEA: Yes MC sex without other MC(s): No Spice: 1.5/5 Angst: 0/5 Fluff: 2/5 Structure/Format/Flow: 3/5 Overall: 2.25/5 Rounded to 3 because I enjoyed most of the rest of the Lactin Brotherhood books.
Time Hopping, Flat Characters, Bleh Spice, No Story, Epilogue or Another Chapter?
I just couldn’t get into this one and it breaks my heart. I have enjoyed most of the Lactin Brotherhood books. This one had potential but it seemed like a skeleton of a story. Time jumped and missed bonding moments, the moments we got weren’t deep, the spice wasn’t spicing, and even though I enjoy insta-love stories this one felt like they fell in love without falling in love? I don’t regret reading it, but I wouldn’t read it again and wouldn’t recommend it as a book to get into the brotherhood series and would want someone to start elsewhere. It felt weird to read this story where the Daddy who lactates can’t find a Little who enjoys that since previous books they seemed to be quite the treasure to find. I was really hoping for more. Don’t knock the rest of the series because of this.

This was a sweet story of little Kasper who found a source of compatible milk and a Daddy all in one. I loved the way that there was a focus on consent and going slow before they settled down to a comfortable relationship with each other. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a BDSM-like DDLB dynamic.
Kasper has a major crush on Shawn, a Daddy he’s seen many times at the club. Kasper likes to play in their Little room with his Little friend. Kasper discovers an app that connects people with milk donors. When he finds a profile that doesn’t creep him out, he makes arrangements to pick up some milk from a seller. When the door opens, it’s Daddy Shawn! While they take their relationship slowly, the story jumps time. There is one misunderstanding due to lack of communication but it’s cleared up fairly quickly.

POV… multi first person
Standalone or series… multi author series CAN be read as a standalone
If one can get over the squick factor of men lactating and men who love nursing from those men, then one can enjoy this story. 😊
This was remarkably well-written from a fairly new (I assume) author and I enjoyed the characters and the way the story flowed. Deliberately short to fit the theme of the series, I would likely have read it even if longer as the story moved along nicely with no horrid spelling or grammar errors. (Kudos!)
I'll likely head over to the author's page to see what other books they might have written. So if you are going to read one of the books in this series, this is a good one to pick.
I absolutely loved this story. These two were so perfect for each other and I really enjoyed how they complimented each other’s needs and wants. I can’t wait for more from this series.
Kasper and Shawn's book is cute, sweet, and spicy. I love how they had each wanted the other and finally were able to get together. I liked seeing their relationship grow and become exactly what they wanted. I recommend this book.
This is. Such lovely sweet romantic story, with a great little storyline, plenty of steam mask romance, it made me feel good reading it. Such a great addition to the series
Was ok. I just needed more from the story. More spice, more milk, more little time. It was all very light and I don't really feel like all that much happened.
This was a cute short read. It was adorable. I love it will continue to read the series. I’m not gonna read them order which is kind of gonna be mad, but I don’t mind it.
