This was awesome!! And just in time for the holidays! Damon Suede's writing is sharp and sexy just what the holidays ordered and that cover is hot hot hot!!!

I really expected something witty and intriguing, being a fan of some older works by Mr. Suede, but what I've got didn't meet my expectations.
I didn't find the tricks and shenanigans' of the "Secret Santa" and the frustrations of the harried superintendent of the building that funny.
One too many cringe-y inner monologues and running commentary on the building inhabitants by Mark, aka super, and some dubious comments by the mysterious handsome temp renter who makes Mark's blood boil and to question his sexual preferences.
There were a few hot moments between the protagonists, some unexpected gifts to the staff who were moved to tears by the unexpected generosity that I found touching, but the rest was not that amusing to me.
This might be an issue of me and not the book, so I hope other people will enjoy it.

Mark Almeida is an ex-cop turned superintendent of a ritzy New York apartment building. But the man in the Santa suit has two problems: someone is robbing the tenants--or are they?--and there's this very hot visitor who keeps showing up at the parties Mark is paid to ho-ho-ho for.

This is a brief holiday joy filled with Damon Suede's sense of humor and myriad characters. There are twists and turns and it all winds up fine in the end.

Definitely a sweet present for the holidays.

A fun Christmas Read

This has been a wild holiday season for me, so I haven't had time to do as much reading as I usually do, but as I flew back from visiting family, I downloaded this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. This story is a little different from Damon's other stories and requires you to stick with it as it's a bit slow in the beginning, but once you get to the juicy parts it's impossible to put down!

I HIGHLY recommend this story!
