Last of the Wild Days: Book Three - Autumn

Rate this book
The wild forest burns, and with the last remaining Forager stronghold in the north having burned with it, there is nothing left to stand against the Wintergazer and his murderous pack of fellow hunters, whose hungry eyes now turn south...

Having reunited across the blaze only to be forced again into separate paths, the two sons of Winter's End remain unreconciled as Forager and Flesheater - sworn that if ever they should cross paths again, one of them will die by the other's hand.

Yet in spite of their conflicting loyalties, fates and paths they must take, both brothers must ultimately face the same choice, their only choice - to unite the scattered and divided Foragers of the south against the Howling Hunt, or fall prey to it.

This series just gets better and better although it’s slowly becoming the woodland creature version of George RR Martin. Please stop killing the characters I love - it’s too much.
Every one of these books has made me cry at the end and I need book 4 now. Hope not too long to wait.
