Not a traditional demon romance...
If you're looking for something different, then this book is for you! A solid 3.5 out of 5 for me. I appreciate Meri being very unconventional as a chaos/plague demon, but the constant farting references and descriptions of the stench kind of took me out of the moment. I also don't love when the FMCs rationalize all thoughts and actions instead of just showing us with the story, but it made for a quick, casual read. If you're looking for a low angst, low heat, easy read with a monster you don't normally see, then this is the book for you!

Oh my, this was such a cute read! Great characters and a great story. So fun! Do yourself a favor and grab this. Who knew demons could be so entertaining? :D

Such fun!
The characters are great and the story is fun. I got Beetlejuice vibes so if you're into that atmosphere, this story is a winner. Loved it!
