About the author

I'm a Southern girl, born, bred, and educated in North Carolina. I'm the daughter of a high school English teacher and a US Army Master Sergeant who was a jump master with the 82nd Airborne. I first tried my hand at writing romance novels when I was twelve and already enamored with Harlequin romance and historical romance. Even then, I wanted to see myself represented in the stories I read. I deferred the dream, starting but not finishing several novels as side projects while earning a doctorate and building a career in academia. In the meantime, I'm living my own romance, married to the man who swept me off my feet over Colt 45 and homemade spaghetti. We have three beautiful children, two cats, and a dog. When I'm not spending time with my family or writing love stories, you can find me reading them or doing the work that, for now, pays the bills.

Oh, I thoroughly enjoyed this one! This is the first book I’ve read by this author and it definitely won’t be the last! 😍 It was witty, steamy, heartwarming, and had me kicking my feet and giggling at times. I fell head over heels for Camille & James’ love story. 😌 10/10 highly recommend.

I thought this was a really cute romance that bloomed from Camille wanting to dust her shelves. Glad she did with a billionaire!! LOL. They both got benefits from it. In the end I was so happy that they made it official. I liked this book overall.

Camille and James had me all caught up in this enticing story. James finds himself in a difficult situation when he learns that he can't take over the family business unless he is married. On the other hand, Camille has learned that her father has put Bibi in a financial bind by taking out loans in her name and as a result she may lose her home because of it. When James offers Camille a proposition to be his fake wife, she accepts but with conditions put in place. What starts off as a fake relationship turns into so much mor when surprises arise that neither saw coming. Will their fake marriage turn into the real thing and lead them along the path to happiness.

Wow! I am blown away! This was amazing! I was zoned in!

I love Camille! 😍 She is that woman you want as a best friend
James on the other hand! 😒 I have mixed emotions about him..

I was not happy with Camille, she should have told James. But I understand that they had a agreement and it ended.

The ending made me happy!! There was a lot of chemistry between them.

It was written so well!! Amazing work!

I received a version of the book with James's face on the cover. A very very good looking guy! Camille on the cover shown on Goodreads is stunning.
A lovely sexy modern day romance. The chemistry between Camille and James was hawt. His previous trauma was so sad and devastating. Really liked the supporting characters such as their friends and family. They added to the story. A good read.

Using the tropes of one-night stand, fake relationship and secret pregnancy, Tamala C. Jones gives readers a delightful and heartful romp in her first book (I think) The Billionaire's Accidental Heir. James Marin and Camille have been casting longing and heated gazes at each other for a while…each time he comes into the bar where she works, to be exact. Of course, neither one of them is looking for a relationship. James is still haunted by the loss of his child and the splintering of the relationship he had with his fiancée. Camille has never had a real model on which to base a functional relationship, she doesn’t want to repeat the mistakes of her mother or her grandmother. By happenstance, after a hook-up their separate needs collide. James needs a fiancée/wife to polish his image as the CEO of a family-oriented company, and Camille needs a cash inflow to save her grandmother’s house. I loved both main characters, James was so soulfully sweet and genuinely nice, while Camille was strong without being hard and brought joy and laughter into James’ life. But how will James handle the fact that their one-night stand has a lasting consequence? Of note, Camille’s father is mentioned in the story, and I anticipated that he would show up and show out…. I was glad he didn’t 😊 And can we get a story featuring some of those amazing secondary characters? I nominate Tommy!
