The EASY Bible Study Method by Ashlej Armojo, Taylor Krause, and Ellen Krause is an excellent resource for anyone wanting to strengthen their Bible study habits. Whether you are completely new to the Bible or a seasoned reader, this book provides practical tools to help you dig deeper into Scripture.

What sets it apart is the way it moves beyond simply giving information—it equips you with a method. The interactive layout makes it easy to follow, and the step-by-step approach helps break down complex concepts into something approachable and doable.

I especially appreciate that it’s not just a book you read once, but a guide you can return to again and again. Packed with resources, ideas, and encouragement, it’s a wonderful way to build confidence in studying the Bible on your own. Highly recommend!

I was thrilled when I requested to review The Easy Bible Study Method that I was sent a copy of the book.

Before diving into the content of the book, I want to make a quick observation on the book itself. One thing I loved about the book is that not everything is black and white. I loved the use of color throughout the book. However, the content was the best part.

One question that struck me was, "What differences and similarities do we share with the original audience?" (Of whatever passage of Scripture we are reading). Oftentimes, people think the Bible is outdated and doesn't apply to us. In that way, they are only thinking of how different things were in Biblical times. I think looking at the similarities is where we start to make connections and understand more about God and His character.

There are so many things to learn in this book, I don't even know what to focus on. There are options throughout the book to "dig deeper" and challenges to "take action." While the Bible study methods taught are easy, they are not quick. This book will teach you how to dive deeper and learn more, while also recommending additional resources. To actually dive deeper, you must be willing to invest some time.

If you want to take your Bible study to the next level, I highly recommend this book. Thank you to Moody Publishers for the opportunity to read this book. I was not required to provide a positive review. All thoughts and opinions are entirely my own.

This is a really great introduction to solid Bible study! I love that it makes Bible study accessible for a variety of ages (youth through young adult and adulthood). The steps are practical and easy to follow (hence the name) and it was really cool to see actual examples of how the method works in the book. Readers get to try the EASY Bible Study Method for themselves (along with the authors) using passages John 6 and Exodus 16. The book can be used on its own, with a mentor, or in a class setting (which I personally would love to see happen).

I already have people in mind that I plan to share this book with. I've been teaching people how to study the Bible for about 10 years now and this resource is definitely one I will be recommending!

I loved the idea of 2 sisters with their mom collaborating together for this book. The book was easy to read and very relatable. I enjoyed the chapter about Seeking God the most. I found it encouraging to have methods of seeking God in the Bible. Keeping scripture in context seems to be driven in today’s social media, so having ways to connect and see God in the Bible and having application for daily living was appreciated. I also liked the annotated examples of their Bible study. It’s always fun to see how others highlight and take notes. This retired teacher gives this book an A+.

This book has it all. It sets the scene for beginning Bible readers, telling you all of the basics so you feel confident even to just start. But more than that- they go deep. They don't just skim over the surface in hopes to appeal to masses, they give the reader the courage to go farther than they could have on their own.

It is easy because they give you structure for Bible study- something that helps you know what to do when you go into ANY Bible passage. This would be an amazing book to go through in a church Bible study, small group, or 1-1 mentor relationship. It has good reflection questions at the end of every chapter to help facilitate a larger discussion. Its time we really start to dig deep into Bible study, and this tool will help the beginners and seasoned believers do it!

A very practical way to dig into the Bible. Provides a method that can be applied to any section of scripture for a well rounded study. The explanation and examples given were so helpful in understanding and I loved the option to “dig deeper” for times when you really want to soak in the passage for a long stretch. Easy enough to be applied to in a 15 minute study or in a 3 hour study. Loved this book and would highly recommend to any Christian! Perfect for new believers who need a starting point or for anyone who wants to change things up to see Gods Word in a new way.

This book on studying the bible was surprisingly good. I thought, "can we really have another book on how to study the bible?" I have read quite a few and this one is unique in that it shows you a study method and then has you work through bible passages to help you put it into practice as you go along. I would definitely recommend this book to someone just getting started studying the bible - it's easy to read, easy to understand and easy to put into practice!

This book is very helpful for learning how to dig into God's word in a meaningful way. I read it digitally, which was not ideal. I had to print out any pages provided for practicing the method. I did enjoy the book, though, and found it to be very helpful!
