Getting over your ex by getting under someone new is normal. Getting with your ex's three brothers while planning his wedding? That's next-level chaos.
I'm Maggie, and according to my ex, I'll never be "perfect" enough. Too curvy, too messy, too… me. So when he asks me to plan his wedding, I should've said no. Instead, my bank account screamed yes—and now I'm stuck planning his perfect day alongside his three sinfully HOT older brothers.
There's Jackson, the tattooed bad boy whose touch makes my common sense vanish. Luke, the broody billionaire who gets everything he wants. And Ryan, the globe-trotting charmer whose dimpled grin makes me burn up in places that would scandalize the mother-of-the-bride.
I swore I'd keep things professional. Really, I did. But when Jackson pins me against the venue wall, Luke's late-night meetings turn unprofessional, and Ryan's pre-wedding photoshoot ends with me in my birthday suit... Let's just say my ex's wedding is the least of my problems. Between hiding hickeys from my ex, becoming besties with his bride-to-be, and trying to remember which brother left which mark, I'm in way over my head.
And if my groom-zilla ex finds out? I could lose more than just my career—I could lose the three men who finally make me feel like I'm everything.
My Ex-Boyfriend's Brothers is a steamy reverse harem rom-com with enough heat to melt the wedding cake before it hits the table. HEA guaranteed!
TW/CW: Verbal Abuse from Ex (past and present), Attempted/Partial Assault, Surprise Pregnancy
I did not find these warnings in the book nor on the author’s website.
Summary of this review: Contains a truly WTAF third act breakup where three grown men believe an abuser when he says he slept with the FMC (he assaulted her with intent to be caught), and they straight up physically and completely ghost her to get drunk in Vegas and mope. They don’t even accuse her of anything, much less TALK TO HER, they just POOF.
She’s also SURPRISE PREGNANT at the time of all this. MMCs come back and tell her she can’t possibly abandon her love for them so easily.. like they just did. lol. Abusive ex gets no consequences, not even a punch. Or a strongly worded letter. He is still a part of the family and attends functions with the FMC and all their children present. O m g.

LONG BOI review:
This was hot and good until the third act breakup- where the FMC was ASSAULTED by her ex. Disclaimer: it was “just” a shove down onto a couch where he forcefully kissed her. (teeth crashing together, held her down, then flipped so she was on top and would be seen as forcing HIM)
If you are expecting the MMCs to actually follow through on all the Alpha, protect her, she’s mine energy.. you would be wrong. There was such POTENTIAL.
Her three men were more angry that another guy touched her, rather than being at all concerned that touch being FORCED, didn’t believe her, and the breakup is them abandoning her to go get drunk in Vegas. Straight up pack their things and physically ghost her without a word.
This is after the ex, whom they have seen with their own eyes, verbally abuse and insult her for days, tells the MMCs he and FMC have been sleeping together and she couldn’t keep her hands off him.
Even after they learn the truth not one of them wants to smack the brother/ex??? Okay. Then they decide they miss her and go back to SORT OF beg. By beg I mean they tell her SHE LOVES THEM so she can’t just give “this” up. The thing they gave up.
She puts up decent resistance and chews them out about that at least, but the fact that she was assaulted wasn’t actually brought up and the man who did that to her is both still a part of the family and sometimes shows up at family events?!!!?!?
They have CHILDREN now and not only did they not press charges against that man (their brother/ex) but they didn’t even physically defend her like the MACHO men they pretend to be. They really allowed an abuser (verbally mostly, then that physical instance) to do that to her with ZEEEERRROOOOO repercussions. ZERO ZERO. And allow him back around the FMC and their family. No consequences for the ex. At all. Not for assault, lying about her cheating on them, verbally abusing her WITH WITNESSES during the story or previously.
BUT the MMCs WERE READY to threaten service companies/employees to make sure the correct color drapes got delivered. Okay. I see you.
I never rate one star, but as a victim myself the turn of events upset me so much I.. I can’t. I really can’t. I’m absolutely horrified. I kept hoping they’d at least deck him the next time they saw him. Nope.
BY THE WAY there’s a surprise late pregnancy- so she was pregnant for one of them when she got assaulted.
So miscommunication to the extreme- they believe the worst of her immediately. They don’t even ask or talk. Is that even miscommunication ?? Even after seeing the proof of abuse the whole book AND they all got chewed out by her earlier in the book for thinking that of her in another scene. So they do it harder ..??!

I started this book & immediately no. Made it halfway but this is a DNF for me. it was sooo poorly written, absolutely corny. I was laughing so hard reading it because it was just so ridiculous. I dont read smut so maybe Im biased, I prefer an actual romance. This is not a book, there is no plot, no character development- hell we dont rly know anything about the characters besides some shallow tropes. This is just smut. Like from page 8. Actual just poorly written porno scenes on a page. I swear it was never even edited. If you wanna read smut just go on wattpad because actually wtf is this.
Spoilers
3 brothers want one girl so they just all share her or something i dont know it was weird I couldnt read on lol. I cannot reiterate enough that this does not even qualify as a book its just the authors wet dream on a page or something I was so baffled
Nope. No. Nup. Had potential but completely squandered it on a miscommunication trope and underdeveloped relationships!
There were some good moments, don't get me wrong. Christina was fantastic. Her possible relationship was great until the last few chapters forgot about the best friend? Gregor was amazing too, hilarious tbh and the most sensible of all of them. The guys had their funny and sweet moments too, and I did laugh out loud at times!
But how can these men claim they love the FMC at all? Like they went on maybe 2.5 dates between them and then just banged the rest of the time before they disappeared without hearing her side of the story
Not to mention, and I'm sorry but ⚠️SPOILER ALERT⚠️ for below because I NEED to talk about this, you have been warned
The pregnancy at like one month into even seeing these people again and IMMEDIATELY after they've apologised for leaving?! Married within a year?! SECOND CHILD ON THE WAY?! No. Absolutely not.
I hated that ending. I skimmed at best once I saw her vomiting "randomly". We all knew what that was.
Overall, if those tropes are your jam and you dont mind relationships that have zero depth, go for it, but otherwise I can't say I'd recommend this
I don’t do 30 year old is not believing the FMC after she was literally assaulted
Then not begging for her forgiveness and instead of telling her that she shouldn’t give this up and that she loves them so essentially she should just get over it
You’re 30 years old and the love of your life so you say was just assaulted and you don’t even punch the guy I don’t care that he’s your brother that should make it so much worse
Why was this a plot point? Third break ups are already so overdone and most of the time done in a shitty way At least have a good grovel. Or it’s not even worth it.
I was looking forward to this one as it looked like it would be fun, so was a bit disappointed. others was VERY little plot to this one. I'm all about body positivity, but I could have done without the talk about stretch marks. And soft bellies. And stretch marks and spanx. Also, the author spent the entire book trying to build up the body positivity and then tore it all down in the end when the FMC is happy that her ex has put on weight and may habe thinning hair. Not a fan of the shallow hypocrisy.
So blah. All the guys had basically the same personality, and there was hardly any build up. Worst of all, the third act S U C K E D. So forced, made close to zero sense, and things happened that were insanely anticlimactic. Carefree at least I guess.
You know those books that make you constantly role your eyes when it comes to the storyline because it’s just so ridiculous but yet you find yourself smiling throughout the whole book?
I loved it, just what I needed for a palate cleanser! I really enjoyed the whole read and I wish there was a little more yearning. But that’s just a me thing. The book was just what I needed it! Not too long either!
Curvy. CHECK! Event planner female lead.. my favorite! Planning her ex'a wedding. diabolical but I'm here for the drama. Immediately finding out the brothers wanted her... AMAZING. Also the greenest male leads in a why choose book! You've got a rugged, motorcycle, rough, tattooed, hands on artsy man, an artsy, gentle, photographer cultured and traveler man, and a business dedicated assertive man. There could have been more plot but the spice was good
Delivers exactly what you’re thinking. Her ex-bf hires here as his wedding planner. And she ends up hooking up with all of his brothers at HIS wedding. They agree to share, there’s no conflict about that. Oh and she may steal his fiancée and become besties with her too since he’s so insufferable. 😅
Negative 1. This book was so very not my cup of tea it was water. I just hated it. No plot, no believable romance, nothing good really came out of the writing.......and they were brothers?????? Not for me.
Maggie needs money. She accepts the job as wedding planner to her ex-boyfriend and his bride to be. This puts her back in the crosshairs of her exes totally hot older brothers. It turns out the three brothers have been carrying a torch for Maggie for a long while, even while she was still dating their brother, but of course they never made a move on her. But now Maggie is single and they’re not wasting any time. Maggie finds herself in a hot relationship with the three sexy brothers while planning the wedding from hell because her ex is a total jackass who wants to continue to make her life miserable. Maggie really likes her exes fiancée and is trying (for the sake of her business, reputation and the fiancée) to make the wedding a fantastic one, but Brad, the ex, goes to despicable lengths to ruin her new found happiness with his brothers. When a “misunderstanding” has the brothers abandoning Maggie it’s time for Maggie to come to terms with the fact that she’s stronger than she appears and is worth so much more than her douchebag ex ever made her feel. Will Maggie get her HEA?
**THOUGHTS**
This was a face paced contemporary RH with likable main character. Maggie is sweet (a little gullible in my opinion) and hard working with a bit of poor self esteem. The men in her harem are all very different (even if they’re brothers) and each one brings a nice element to the relationship. This book, despite the set-up, is actually pretty low on the drama and angst factor and resolves all problems in a pretty neat and tidy manner. I love that Maggie gets her HEA and has babies with the brothers. But I disliked that she just accepts the father in law back into their lives. He was just as gross as her ex, and only came around when she gave birth to a son. I think if he wanted back into their lives the author should have written him groveling a whole lot more. On that line, Brad coming at the VERY END of the book to say he would only “play nice” if Luke (the oldest brother) gave him his job back with a raise was very anti-climactic. Maggie kind of tells him off and he leaves angrily with a FU but it just wasn’t enough. There should have been more consequences to his actions and frankly I honestly wanted him to get the shyte kicked outta him (lol). I gave this book 4 out of 5 stars because it was a well written, enjoyable contemporary RH with solid characters. I would have given it 5 out of 5 stars if there had been more groveling done by the brothers who majorly F’ed up, and if there had been a bit more drama. Considering the premise of the story it really was very low angst and drama. It could have used a bit more to “spice things up.”
This book was a one-way ticket trip straight to Corneyville. It had so many corny and cringe things in it that I don’t even have enough time to name them all. And above all else, this book was absolutely extremely unoriginal every single played out trope and cliché and phrase and sexual position and character of an MMC was in this book. The author didn’t have to try and really do anything to make this book happen in my opinion. She could just copy and paste or she could even just ask chat-GPT to mix up some of her other books and spit this one out. There was nothing unique about the book, about the story, about the FMC about the MMC‘s. None of their characters were fun or interesting or different. None of the sex scenes were original or sexy. It’s just the same tired ass positions and actions as you read nowadays in all the books. The goddess worshiping in this book made me wanna vomit. It was so over-the-top. She’s some chubby redhead with extremely low self-esteem and the guys are all just falling over themselves telling her how amazing she is and that she’s the most beautiful woman in the world and she can’t do no wrong and that no man on this earth not even them is worthy of her. Gag….vomit… They supposedly were in love with her for the past six years, but none of them made a move to try and get with her until this wedding. And even though they all were supposedly within a minute in love with her and goddess worshiped her from here to the moon as soon as they could, they dropped her ass so quick and basically treated her and thought of her as some stupid slut. It was the dumbest and most annoying third act break up ever like truly so stupid. The whole miscommunication breakup thing is so beyond played out and everybody hates it so I don’t know why writer still use it. Of course, she forgives them and then there is the obligatory pregnancy at the end. And then the epilogue that ties everything up in a neat little predictable bow. Don’t waste your time or money. I feel like this author has really been on a downward spiral lately. I don’t know if she’s just being lazy or if she is just not really passionate about writing anymore, but I won’t be paying money for her books anymore, which is sad cause there are a couple of her books I really liked .
The description of the book sounded pretty good, so I decided to give it a shot. It's been on my TBR for a while, but I felt like something a little light-hearted with a hint of drama. This was perfect!
In truth, Maggie was over her ex-boyfriend, Brad. She was with him for three years, longer than she should have been, but she wasn't a quitter and just kept trying to work it out. However, he was manipulative and verbally abusive. He made her ashamed of her body and ruined her self-confidence and what she felt her self-worth was. Three years after their break up, he came to her wanting her to plan his wedding. She would have told him to pound salt if not for needing the money and exposure for her business. Alas, she did need it, so she agreed.
While dealing with the worst groom-zilla ever, she had some somewhat unexpected people in her corner. First, there was Brad's fiancée, who is actually a total sweetheart. But primarily, there were Brad's three older brothers, Ryan, Jackson, and Luke. Each of them had feelings for her for a long time but never acted on them. The three always come to her aid when they witness Brad being cruel or rude to her and do what they can to help ease her stress about the wedding... including some physical relief.
Brad seems determined to make Maggie's life a nightmare, despite them ending their relationship on okay enough terms. How far will he go? After the wedding is finished, will the three older brothers still want something with her?
This book is a bit funny, definitely sweet, and I absolutely LOVE the secondary characters. Gregor, Beth, and Christina really help make this book!
This one was harder for me to read. I love the author so I kept going. But… it was definitely not my cup of tea.
The way they all start off is a bit shady. I get they aren’t tied down and have zero commitment levels yet but I felt like that should have been handled a bit differently.
The ex is a level 100 douche canoe. No thank you! I swear he should have been put in his place so many times by people other than the Main Character. I feel like there should have been a little trigger warning too? Maybe. I wasn’t triggered but I know that was a bit uncomfortable for me.
He is abusive. End of. And then physically abusing her so they would get caught?! Absolutely not.
The brothers pissed me the fuck off. How would they believe the ex no matter if he was their brother or not?! They didn’t like him and they loved her. But I digress. I’m glad they made up but damn.
The new fiancé seems so sweet. Almost too good to be true at some points. But then a baddie later. I liked her. I’m glad they are friends.
Over all this was a one and done read. Cringy and cheesy. But has a good plot.

I really enjoyed this book. It was so good. Brilliant plot and great characters. I think my favourite male character has to be Jackson though. Least favourite was obviously Brad. He was so awful. Maggie was such a delight and her finding her sexual freedom was so good. I love Rebel Bloom's books but this one goes straight to the top of my list.
Rebel Bloom is my go to fluff romance author. I found her so early on in my smutty reading life and devoured everything she had released in a matter of weeks. Ever since I've been hanging out for every new release. Two years later and I still love each and every one of her books, some I've read multiple times! Hit it out of the park again! I can't wait for the next one!!!
Her books are so easy to read and it’s a nice pace from the darker why choose books I read. I thought that Maggie was a really funny and relatable character. I did like the guys, but I feel like Ryan was pushed to the back tbh, I felt like a lot of the focus was on Luke. As for the third act conflict it kind of pissed me off, and slight spoiler I’m glad that it took her a while to accept their apology. Also F Brad. I did also love her friendship with Christina.
I am a big fan of this author, and oh boy, did she deliver. This story and these characters managed to grab you right from the very beginning. I couldn't put this book down. I loved all the drama that this book entailed. Gregor was a great character. I loved how then men built up Maggie. It's a great read, and I look forward to more from this author.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
What's not to enjoy about a why choose......Maggie was an angel with a very naughty side and Luke, Ryan and Jackson were 🥵🔥🌶️.......Fuck Brad.....Christina was a babe and I loved Maggie's mum and Gregor to bits 💕
