If God is really at work in our lives, how can we see His active involvement in our circumstances? Stories of Loss, Light, Hope and Harvest tells the story of an ordinary woman who has taken faith steps that haven’t always turned out the way she envisaged. But what Celina Mina discovered is
When we apply to our inner world what nature’s seasons teach us, we begin to see that every situation, event, heartache, relationship and success leads to meaning, redemption and fulfilment.
Through vulnerable personal stories about grief, healing, calling, love and motherhood, combined with biblical teaching, Celina invites you on a journey to understand why we all need autumn’s loss, winter’s light, spring’s hope and summer’s harvest.
Reflection questions and practical tips are included at the end of the audiobook to enable listeners to apply the teaching to their own season of life.

Update 2026 - I have just finished listening to the audiobook version and it was fantastic to hear Celina sharing her stories and Biblical teaching verbally.

This book will strengthen your understanding of how your inner world experiences seasons just as nature does.
Celina has woven beautifully four stories from her life with Biblical teaching on seasons.
This hybrid-memoir with its authentic and vulnerable stories will stir your faith, provide guidance for the seasons you're in, and give Biblical insight to help you on your journey.
Usually when I read books like this, about half way through I reach I point where I have to drag myself through the rest of the book…
That didn’t happen with this one. Celina has a way of inviting you into her world, that makes you miss it when you’re gone. The books feels like a conversation between you and a dear friend. Sharing both stories, thoughts and advice. I am gonna miss the “conversations” now when it’s over.
When I first startet the book, I was afraid it would be heavy on the long Bible verses, but she has a way of sharing only what is necessary to underline her point. Not too much, but not too little either.
No doubt her life is deeply rooted in Jesus, but her stories are not about a “holy person” living a perfect life. Instead it’s about a person, a human, with humans feelings, doubts and everything else highly relatable.
Seasons as the underlying theme is brilliant. It works really well and the seasons summery in the back is perfect to sum up what you’ve just learned.
I cannot wait to use the part for self reflection in the back.
This book will help you see the bigger picture in your life story and how God is involved and at work in each part of your life. It will help you lean into seasons that you would have otherwise despised or dismissed.
The many personal stories shared throughout is captivating and relatable. The journal prompts in the end will help personalize the content to your own life as well.
I will recommend this book to anyone who wants to handle each season that life offers you, with grace, perseverance and faith. I will return to it over and over again I’m sure, as life transitions into yet another season.
I read this book in a day, I love it when that happens. It’s a book that teaches a deep truth. You’re okay. This is just a season. This to shall pass. You’ll be stronger for it. This is the adventure of your life. Be with it.
