I am exceedingly pleasantly surprised with this book. Unfortunately, I have been one of those people deceived by the New Age movement and the occult for a very long time until I got saved from all of it and left it all for good in 2020. I have been involved in nearly everything this book covered: false healing practices, witchcraft/wicca, divination, tarot cards, psychic mediums, astrology/zodiac, yoga, chakras, manifestation, crystals, sage, candle magic, reiki healing, sound baths, numerology, angel numbers, secular music/movies/books that were questionable in someone with discernment, was a horror fanatic, obsessed with the paranormal, and so much more. I was raised through so much of the New Age and pantheism that it had been embedded in my whole being since before I was born, been tuned in to my psyche and spirit growing up, and I actively practiced for 11 years while simultaneously still believing in God and thinking it was okay before I realized none of it was godly. It seems to have been part of my bloodline, but I commit to being a curse breaker; and this book talks about breaking generational curses too. Taliah Scroggins had been one of the many voices of testimonies of people turning from New Age to Jesus that helped me when I needed to hear them.

She talks extensively about each of the practices and things that people knowingly or unknowingly realize are part of the New Age and occult, why they are demonic, and ways to be free from them as well as prayers for deliverance from each of them. Whether you are a Christian or not, or just seeking answers like I was years ago, this book is extremely helpful in guiding you and hopefully removing the veil off your eyes into some things in popular culture or just encouraged in plain sight that really shouldn't be something we freely engage in. Discernment is key, and it is so easy to be manipulated into trying out these practices nonchalantly, thinking that they're harmless. They are not. I'm also especially grateful for the information on soul ties and how to move forward, because this is not talked about too much in the community. I am still learning and growing in my faith journey too.

The way that Tailah broke the information down in her book is easy to follow and understand, and it is clear and to the point with enough supporting explanations to provide context on each topic. I find the book organized and rich with nuggets. The prayers are essential to keep with you for anytime you need to go through repentance and deliverance for yourself and/or others, maintaining it, and continuing to walk in freedom from these oppressions. There's also a section for cleansing the home and being free from covenants and blood rituals through the blood of Jesus.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who may just be curious about the New Age, have questions on its practices, perhaps seeking what the truth really is, maybe you have dabbled here and there, maybe someone shared with you about practices they do to improve their lives but something stirs in your spirit about them, or maybe you believe in God too but think you can do other things besides pray and read your bible. This book hopefully will help with exposing you to the true meaning behind these practices. Thank you, Tailah, for your work on this and for continuing to reach souls out there.
