“To those of you who ever wanted to ride a dragon… in whatever way”!!!! If that dedication doesn’t already make you want to pick this book up then you are missing out! King Killian is just 🙌🏻🤌🏻🔥 The Lost Flame has tropes that include enemies to lovers, magic, royalty, forced proximity and more. I’ve read all of Danielle’s books and this one so far is my favourite, I already to reread it. She does an amazing job at making me not want to put the book down, I just needed to know what was going to happen next!! The book hangover is worth it

I simply adored this book, it gives off beauty and the beast mixed dragon rider vibes. Our leading lady is a power house that you can’t help but fall in love with. Her courage is unmatched. The jokes and quick witted and the story just flows so well. And the spice in the book is just right, not in your face but still so good!!
I highly recommend you check out this book.

I wish I could give this book mores stars. It really has all the elements I like in a romatansy, plus its a local author! But the plot pace was just too insanely fast for my taste.

The writing just needed to be expanded with pauses for inner dialogue and reflection, as well as more character development through motivations and back stories. Without it, I ended up not being invested in what happens with the characters because I really had no clue who they were.

Just felt like the characters were speed racing through plot to tick off events and battles.

I loved this book! I loved the magic, the layers in the characters, the secrets that unfolded, and especially the dialogue! I love the banter between the characters! Danielle is so good at finding the perfect words to make you cry laughing at a situation! If you like dragons, adventure, and a cast of fully realized characters that make you love them, then you need to read The Lost Flame! I recommend it 1 million percent! I especially loved Keely- if you know, you know ❤️

I received this as an ARC copy and I couldn't be more grateful 🥰 the story was amazing. King Killian 😍 a book boyfriend if I've ever seen one! "Why settle for a prince when you can have a king." No truer statement has been said. I loved going on his and Arya's journey. Their relationship, their banter, their adventure....perfect no notes 💕

I enjoyed this book. It made me laugh but it also made me frustrated and worried at times. The dynamics between the main characters is amazing; the tension kept building and I couldn't help but fall in love with Killian's quiet patience and support.
I chose this book based on the cover and I'm happy it didn't disappoint.
