In 2012, Lee Harbaugh was selected as the jury foreman for a capital murder case in Ft. Worth, Texas. After convicting and sending Kwame Rockwell to death row, Lee began to have doubts about the validity and effectiveness of the death penalty in modern society.
Through many years of soul-searching and learning truths about capital punishment, Lee concluded that the death penalty is never warranted. Capital Shift is an exploration of his journey from supporting capital punishment to favoring its abolition.
