In order to be closer to his ex-wife Julie and their kids, James recently moved to a new town and state. Feeling lonely and in need of companionship, he signs up for the popular dating site, Eros. But little does he know, his search for love will soon become a nightmarish situation.
While James goes on multiple dates with various women, he can’t shake off the uneasy feeling he gets when he meets Tiffany. She seems harmless at first, but soon her true colors start to show. James deeply regrets meeting Tiffany because of her possessive and controlling nature, which leads her to threaten anyone who gets close to him.
The story takes a sinister twist when one of the girls James had been seeing is found murdered. With each clue incriminating Tiffany, James can’t shake the feeling that he might be the next person to be targeted.
Will there be a chance for him to escape from the dangerous woman before it’s too late?

I was immediately drawn in by the premise of this book. James moves to be closer to his kids who live with his ex-wife, Julia. James gets lonely, and like millions, turns to a dating app to find someone. He dates several people, but Tiffany becomes controlling. Then another girl that he dated is unalived. Did Tiffany do it? The twist in this book was jaw dropping. I had to remind myself to breath a few times. I'm usually pretty good at figuring things out, but not this time. I thoroughly enjoyed the character development. This was a tense, suspenseful, hang on to your seat kind of book.

In a world where so many people are taking advantage of dating websites, Swipe For Death gives a great picture of how that can go terribly wrong. A cautionary tale of allowing strangers into your life too quickly.
The author provides a lot of description on the setting and feelings of the characters. While some of this was beneficial to the storyline, it sometimes was too much for my preference and I found myself skipping over some parts that were unnecessary to the overall story line.
Overall I enjoyed the mystery of who was behind the threats and loved how it all came together in the end. I also like the different POV for the characters who were involved. I definitely didn't see all the twists that were brought in towards the end.
This book was an insane rollercoaster from start to finish and I enjoyed every second of it. This one had me questioning so much and going around and around with what I thought I knew. I didn’t want to put it down and I can’t wait to read more! Definitely recommend this book.
Oh James, such a naughty boy, causing all this chaos. Glad I don’t have to worry about getting on any dating sites 🤣
This book had so many twists. This book is about a man who joined an online dating site but after meeting a woman he liked then became a downfall from previous women. This story will keep you guessing and definitely make you not want to join an online dating site. I truly enjoyed this book and I love this author's writing style.
A little long, didn't flow or come together in places, felt like things were maybe left out...ending was good, I had someone else for over 1/2 the book!
This book is definitely worth reading! The characters and scenery are well described, so you feel like you are right there in the book! I will definitely be reading more from this author! 🩷🩷Many different characters to keep up with, but the author makes it easy. I really wanted to slap the shit out of James in the beginning but I eventually changed my mind 😂 a couple of crazy psychos out there so be careful if you decide to swipe right!!! 😈😈😈😈😈
"Swipe for Death" by Elisa D. Daniels is a gripping tale that kept me glued to the pages! I devoured it in just a single day! The story offers a sharp look into the wild world of online dating and the unpredictable nature of people. If you're into wild plots that keep you guessing, this novel is a must-read!
This book blew me away! It's definitely one of my top picks of the year! It really makes you ponder the risks of dating someone from the internet whom you barely know. If you're a fan of psychological thrillers, this is a must-read!
Whew, where do I even start? That twist—wow! I pride myself on figuring out the ending early, but I was completely caught off guard. I spent the entire book pointing the finger at the wrong person. The drama was real, and the suspense never let up! You kept me on my toes!!
The writing is exceptional. The story flowed effortlessly, keeping me hooked from beginning to end. The characters and scenes felt so vivid that I honestly felt like I was right in the middle of all the chaos.
Overall, if you love a good thriller, I highly recommend Swipe For Death. You won’t want to miss this one!
I can’t wait to read more of Elisa’s books soon!

Looks like I’m one of the few who thought this book was terrible! I liked the concept of swiping and online dating, given the role it plays in dating these days. Add in the psychological thriller genre, and I was convinced this was going to be the best read ever. Boy was I wrong. Each character plays a main role, which in itself makes is confusing. The main characters at the beginning are not the one who finish off the book. Almost feels incomplete in perspective. So unrealistic that James had no idea who could be behind the newly found turmoil in his life. Unrealistic that a girl suddenly just forgot where her best friend lived. Also, how is one mediocre man landing so many women? Maybe that’s the one realistic part. We have all wondered that while dating 😂

“Swipe for Death" by Elisa D. Daniels is a gripping thriller that delves into the dark side of online dating. With a chilling stalker vibe, the suspense builds steadily as the protagonist becomes entangled in a dangerous and obsessive encounter. Daniels expertly ramps up the tension, making it clear how quickly a seemingly harmless swipe can spiral into something far more sinister. The story serves as a stark reminder of the extreme risks that come with digital dating, leaving readers on edge until the final page. A must-read for fans of psychological suspense,
Wow! At first, I thought I had the story figured out. It reminded me of a documentary I’d seen before, but let me tell you, I was completely wrong. The plot took an unexpected turn and got me good. I absolutely loved it! A solid 5/5 ⭐️ for me. I found this book the perfect length. Long enough for a good story, but short enough for a quick read. Great job, Elisa Daniels!
I give this 3.5 stars. I had several pros and cons with this one and went back and forth how to do this review.
PROS: The storyline is one that is relatable to many single people. Online dating sites are how a lot of people find each other in this digital age. The chapters are shorter, which helps the book to keep flowing quickly. There are several points of view, which can help from feeling monotonous and give different perspectives regarding what is happening.
CONS: The many points of view also sometimes made it difficult to keep track of what was happening to whom. There were a few issues with cohesiveness. A few times, I had to read a section a couple of times to make sense, as it felt like something wasn't included that should have been (missing words maybe?) All of the added characters at the end made it even more confusing.
Despite what I felt were cons, the book wasn't bad. It was definitely a twisty read with an ending no one would guess correctly. It was a good book that I feel could be a great book with just a slight revamp and a touch better editing.

This was a great book! I loved the storyline and the punches really had me going. Some great turns that I truly wasn’t expecting.
We begin with a woman with a troubled past, desperately seeking for a relationship, and the comforts a relationship gives off—security, safety, protection, a feeling of being wanted and desired. She begins her search on a dating app, by the urges of her best friend. She has a match and begins her journey into the realm of love but worries her past will creep up to haunt her.
It’s definitely a past coming back, actions revealed over time that some things just don’t fade with time. Not all things can be forgotten and moved on. Is she destined for love or doomed of history repeated?
Swipe for death was a fast paced thriller. It had short chapters and kept me interested the entire time. The author did a good job of leading us one way and then surprising us with something totally different. The style was simolar to Freida McFadden and I felt it was overall a pretty well done book. This is the forst book Ive read by this author but it won't be my last.
I really enjoyed this book. The different perspectives work well together and bring the book together beautifully. I did figure out part of the twist before it was revealed, but I didn't expect the second part, so I was extremely happy.
Have you ever used a dating site for hooking up? James has, several times. Which date will stay and which date will slay?
3.5 Stars! ⭐️ I made the mistake of listening to this, I love audio books, but I prefer a real person narrating! Anyway, this was a pretty good web of online dating that makes me very happy I am married. James seems to be having bad luck with the women he dates through a dating site. However, is it him, or is it the women in his life?
I was so sure I knew exactly where this was leading. Super confident on my choices. Hell no I was not even freaking close. Elisa gets me every single time. I would bet money on being right and lose that bet every time.
