Wyatt
Nunca podré volver a verlo.
historia independiente, descubrimiento gay/bisexual, dolor/consuelo, solo una cama, humano x hombre lobo, amor prohibido, proximidad forzada, familia encontrada, roles estrictos y final feliz.

This is the first book I read in the series and I started with it because the synopsis seemed intriguing to me. I was a little disappointed by all kinds of little things like the nicknames of dude and bro that repeated themselves too much and create a bit of distance in the relationship. Also the light dom/sub interaction that came out of nowhere during some of the sex scenes. I had higher expectations.
I felt like this was a slightly less intense book than the first one in the series. As some other people pointed out there was essentially no real pack business in this book and it could almost just be a regular novel if you replaced the very few wolf references to some other random thing.
All that aside I felt like it was a good MM trashy romance book.
The only things from the story that really made me roll my eyes were:
I will give Blake credit though, the twist at the end with Wyatt's father was good. And much like book 1, Wyatt prepared everything perfectly for the fall out like he did for Parker/Aiden.
Wyatt and Tanner are both in the same boat. They're stuck with father's who have the 'good ole boys' work mentality. Wyatt and Tanner have both done everything their father's have ever asked them to while waiting for them retire and turn the company reigns over to their son, but it seems like that is never going to happen for either of them. When Wyatt and Tanner meet and they are unexpectedly put in the same hotel room a like/hate relationship ensues from there. Can they stay together, and can they finally get their father's to turn over the company reigns?
I liked Wyatt and Tanner, but the story itself was to set in the human world. By that, I mean there was no pack interaction until the end. There were no pack issues. I'm not even sure if Wyatt's father was the pack Alpha or not and almost no emphasis was put on whether Wyatt is an alpha or alpha heir. It reads like a normal MM romance, but with tiny bits of shifter parts thrown in here and there. The series is about shifters. It should have a lot more emphasis on that part of their lives. In that way it was a bit of a disappointment.
This is another good book in this series. I am giving it a 4/5. This book is about two guys trying hard to win the approval of their fathers. Wyatt is a wolf shifter who is straight. He meets his mate at a conference. Wyatt’s mate is Tanner , a gay human. That is taboo for Wyatt’s pack. But they have sex and Wyatt leaves. They don’t see each other again until Tanner shows up at Wyatt’s office because he has to work for him or be disinherited by his father. Of course there is a lot tension between the two men. Tanner and Wyatt will have to work out their feelings for each or risk being unhappy for the rest of their lives. I am going to buy the third book in this series.
DNF @ 37%. Bro. Dude. No homo. A one-night stand with NO PREP and no condoms (WTAF?). I feel the mate bond with you. But I'm not gay. Mating with humans is forbidden in my pack so we can never be a thing (even though my best friend just mated with a human and formed his own pack that I could join). My father hates me and has never thought I was good enough, but I'll keep busting my ass to earn the respect I know he'll never give me. - both MC's I won't be your gay experiment. Let's just have a summer fling. 🙄 I seriously just give up. I'm starting to yell at both characters now, and I've got way better uses for my book-reading time.
It is always a turn on to read about a straight man realizing that he is attracted to another man. Such is the case with Wyatt—the straight guy growing up with two gay men. But he meets his mate: Tanner and out went the straight and in game the gay guy. Lots of interesting circumstances. It good that Aiden & Parker were also part of this story.
Mostly OK and fits in well with book 1 by continuing the slowly growing story for the 3 best friends and their new pack. Acceptable character development and storyline threaded through multiple sex scenes. Book 2 ends on a positive note for this couple and with a lead into the next book.
The series follows three best friends that have their world tilted upside down. From controlled by parents finally stands up for himself. His two best friends stand beside him. His mate is finally free to follow his dreams! M M romance
Straight Wyatt meets his mate, but guess what? It's a man. A human man. No-nos in the traditional pack that he belongs to. Tanner has been fired by his father's real estate company and sent to work for Wyatt's fathers company. Oops. Mate feelings spark and grow till their world s fall apart to begin anew.
🎧 A ‘gay for you’ story with werewolves, found family, family drama, family secrets, and spice. Wyatt thought he was straight. Tanner knew he was gay. Turns out, who your mate is doesn’t take your sexuality into consideration. I felt for both men and the generational trauma they both endured. I like this series so far, and am ready for #3.
A fun, formulaic, read that won't challenge you and does reference another series that is much the same and equally enjoyable. When you want a mental "cleanser" from something super series these are a great, low effort, read.
Another great story from the Ombra Pack Chronicles. I'm ready to start the next book. Both stories are about different backgrounds, such as Real Estate business. B.L.Wolfe makes it work. Love them. ENJOY!
Seriously, the overly emphasized erotica detracts from a delightful story of love triumphing over commercial greed. Good characters and setting though.
It's not a bad book, though hard to recommend. There's not a lot of depth but there is a kind of gonzo energy that makes it a pleasant enough diversion.
