Sailor
Darkness isn’t a stranger to me—it’s a constant companion, shadowing every thought I bury in my journal. The only people I have to turn to are my online friends, which should have kept my secrets safe. But one careless moment changes everything.
I lost my journal—the one thing that has every dark and depraved thought in my mind—and someone has found it.

But the masked man who’s seen my secrets isn’t scared away—he’s drawn in. He understands the darkness that claws at me and mirrors it back, tempting me. And for the first time, there's an alluring pull to be myself—no more hiding.

We're playing a dangerous game, and someone is bound to get hurt—which one of us will it be?

Who doesn't want to be chased in the woods by a masked morally grey man? Especially when he knows you and your darkest secrets and you have no clue who he is.
The chemistry between Sailor and JT was so good. The spice was great. I loved all the twists and cannot wait for the ending in book two.

There aren’t enough words in my vocabulary to capture how wickedly intoxicating this book was. Every page thrummed with tension and temptation. The characters? Absolute perfection — I fell for them fast, hard, and without a shred of regret. And JT… he’s the kind of sin you don’t just crave — you worship. 🥵

The story gripped me from the start — a pulse of danger and desire I couldn’t tear myself away from. It was thrilling, deviant, and utterly consuming. I didn’t want to stop. I didn’t want it to end. Now I’m counting down the moments until book two drags me back into Sailor and JT’s world.

We have the smut. We have the masked, morally grey man hunting you through the woods — and yes, that’s exactly where things get filthier. 🤭 Hidden cameras, a haunting obsession, and a quiet FMC who wears innocence like armor while hiding her darkness underneath.

It ticked every single box. So go ahead — be a good girl (or a very bad one 😉) and Run For Me… straight into this book’s waiting hands.

⚠️ Trigger warnings first, chaos later ⚠️
For the readers who crave danger inked in desire.

It’s not love. It’s obsession, craving and control.

Sailor’s journal holds her fears, fantasies, and need to give up control without breaking. She writes to feel safe, but he's watching. A masked stranger who uses every word to find her, stalk her, and turn her desires into a weapon. She wants to surrender. He makes sure she has no choice.

He chases her in the dark. She lets him. What starts as fantasy becomes raw, dangerous and impossible to undo. One message turns into rules. One encounter turns into nights where she can’t tell if she’s afraid or alive for the first time. Sailor wants to understand herself. But Jaxon’s inside her head, using her secrets to pull her deeper.

Jaxon’s not supposed to care. He’s meant to dominate and disappear. But Sailor doesn’t follow the script. She begs, defies, surrenders, runs. He chases. He doesn’t just want her, he needs her. No one touches her or gets close but him. She’s his to protect, punish, and possess.

Obsession spreads like fire. Hidden cameras. Anonymous threats. Jealous lies. Behind it all, a family that thrives on blood and fear. When Sailor’s taken, he’ll burn the world down to bring her back, and he does.

What comes after is worse. Sailor sees the truth about the man who claims her, chases her, and reads her secrets, using them to make her his. Her body may be his, but not her trust. Now she asks if Jaxon’s her savior or greatest threat. Jaxon has to face that saving her might destroy everything they have.

A dark, brutal, erotic story about obsession and control, the hunger to be claimed, and the terror of being caught. It’s chaos, craving, and domination, twisted into something you won’t want to look away from.

The deeper you fall into Jaxon and Sailor’s story, the harder it is to crawl back out. This book ends with blood, betrayal, and a door closing on everything safe. The next decides if she can survive him, or if she’s always meant to be his.

OMG I couldn’t put this book down!!!! Like when I tell you I eat all the 500 pages up, I swallowed it, may have chocked a few time but got it.

The plot in this book is plotting and I as never in one minute was bored in this long book. I found myself wanting to read more and stay up longer to finish and see what happens and that ending ! I need book 2 yesterday. I have to know what happens. I was so dedicated into the characters the ending broke me. That wasn’t the way I wanted it to end but I feel it needed too.

You have sailor that is just starting college and is very shy.Has had a boyfriend online for years that has never really officially met and her parents have both passed away. They were very wealthy and left her everything so now this poor girl is stuck with money ,a house and literally no one or should I say no one that she wants to be around. She feels different and feels like the people in her life are not like her.

Until she loses her diary…. That is where I am going to stop! Cause this man that finds it 🥰 YUMMY!!! Masked man, J.T!!!

Now all dark romance girls need him in their life. Someone that wants all for you, all the time, everywhere!!!!

One thing I really related to in this book is the death of her parents! You can tell she wants to move forward but really is stuck, and that was so sad for me cause I was the same.

This author didn’t just do dark romance but add mafia in there as well. Which is a change of reading for me and I loved it. I would like to see what happens next and see where the story takes us!

Great book!

Sailor is a seemingly normal college student with a long-distance boyfriend, a tragic past, and a journal where she keeps her darkest thoughts and desires. But when she loses that journal on campus, it’s found by someone who sees not only the darkness within Sailor, but how perfectly it mirrors his own. Jaxon is ready to turn every page of her journal into a reality—but first, Sailor has to agree to play by his rules.

The chemistry between these two is undeniable! At first, Sailor might seem like a pushover—meek and small—but that illusion has kept her safe for so long. With her boyfriend pushing for more, and her journal now in the hands of a stranger, Sailor’s world is spiraling out of control. When she receives an anonymous message, she realizes she’s not the only one craving something darker.

Jaxon is enigmatic, and you’re never quite sure what he’s thinking—until it comes to Sailor. Captivated by her haunted eyes and pink hair, Jaxon is ready to risk everything to bring her darkness to life. He has a dark side of his own, and when her safety is threatened, he’s prepared to be the biggest bad out there.

The story is told from alternating points of view between Sailor and Jaxon, which adds depth to both characters as their secrets are slowly revealed. The build-up to the cliffhanger? Absolutely gut-punching—it’s like running full-speed into a wall. So, you can bet I’ll be eagerly awaiting book two!

This is part one of a duet, so be forewarned that there’s a cliffhanger.
Sailor has an online boyfriend she’s never met. They video call, so she’s not being catfished. He’s very sweet… but Sailor has darker desires. Desires she’s written in her journal. When she loses the journal, she is frantic.
“He” finds her journal, the mystery guy referred to as “he” or “him” until his identity is revealed… and I’m not going to spoil that. He is immediately obsessed by Sailor and her fantasies, but all he has is an online site and a screen name. So begins another online relationship for Sailor. He’s very intense. His parents are in positions of power and control, and he likes control, especially in the bedroom, where his tastes line up with Sailor’s fantasies.
The big question is can she reconcile the two sides of him? The violent side and the caring side?
I think this book is semi-dark but I enjoyed it. My initial theory was incorrect, which was fun (I like to be left guessing). If you like darkish without being hardcore, you’ll probably like this book. If you’re looking for something hardcore, you should probably look elsewhere. I thought the book was good and the sexytime was actually more intense than the plot. I’m definitely planning to read the second book in the duet.

Sailor is a normal college girl, with a long-distance boyfriend, a tragic backstory, and a journal where she keeps her darkest thoughts and desires. When she loses her journal on campus, it's found by someone who sees not only the dark in Sailor, but how it perfectly reflects off his darkness. He's ready to make every page of the journal a reality, but first, Sailor has to agree to play with him.

These two had such chemistry! At first, Sailor comes off as a pushover; meek and small. That illusion has kept her safe her whole life. With her long distance boyfriend pushing for more, and now her journal missing, she's at her wit's end. An anonymous message shows her she's not the only one dying to play rough. Jaxon is enigmatic. You never quite know what he's thinking, until it comes to Sailor. Captivated by her haunted eyes and pink hair, Jaxon is more than ready to risk it all and breathe life into her darkness. He's got a dark side too, and when her safety comes into question, he's not afraid to be the biggest bad out there.

This whole story is told through alternating points of view between Sailor and Jaxon. As each tidbit of character is revealed, the story grows new depth and the plot twists a little more. The build up to that cliffhanger was like running full speed into a wall. So, you know I'll be here waiting for book two for catch me as I fall.

Who wouldn’t want to be chased through the woods by a masked, morally grey man who knows your darkest secrets when you don’t even know his name? That’s Sailor’s reality, and her chemistry with JT is electric. The spice is scorching, the twists relentless, and the line between fear and desire blurs until obsession takes over.

Sailor’s journal was meant to be private, a place to hide her fears and fantasies. Instead, Jaxon uses her words to stalk, tempt, and control her, turning her deepest desires into his weapon. She runs, he chases. She surrenders, he consumes. What starts as fantasy spirals into obsession, control, and raw need neither of them can walk away from.

This is not love—it’s obsession, possession, and the terrifying thrill of being wanted too much. Hidden cameras, anonymous threats, family secrets soaked in blood…when Sailor is taken, Jaxon will burn the world to bring her back. But saving her only uncovers darker truths, and Sailor has to decide if Jaxon is her savior or her greatest threat.

A dark, brutal, and intoxicating story of craving and control. Erotic, twisted, and impossible to put down, this book drags you deep into chaos and doesn’t let go. The ending leaves you bloody, breathless, and desperate for book two.

I loved this book and even better I got to meet Penny Fox. I picked up the Duet series in one book and she signed it! Ugh so good. So this has a little bit of everything.
Your FMC Sailor, she has lost a lot of family members. Her mom got her a journal and from this journal is where this whole thing begins. She takes it everywhere and is almost like a security blanket. So one day she it falls out of her bag in class and she doesn't realize it till later. She has a "boyfriend" named Sam. I say this lightly because they are online only at this time. They have done everything but met in person. She calls Sam to see what he says but he just tells her to go and find check the lost and found. You also learn that she is the type of person that has a routine and if you happen to disrupt that she isnt thrilled. Like for instance Sam shows up out of the blue and she isnt happy like he thought she would be.
For 90% of the book the guy who finds her journal goes by "HIM". lol He texts her and starts to bring out this darker side. Of course she starts to learn his dark side as well and its enough to scare her.
Again this is duet. This had my attention from beginning to end and when it ended- I was ready for the 2nd part.

5 chillies!

If trauma bonding were a love language, Sailor and her twisted savior would be fluent.

This book is a fever dream of kink, grief, and emotional devastation wrapped in a journal full of fantasies no virgin should ever admit to—except she does, and he reads every word. When Sailor loses her journal, she doesn’t just lose her secrets. She hands over her soul. And he? He’s experienced, broken, and beautifully deranged with a Freudian flavor that makes every interaction feel like a dare.

Penny Fox doesn’t write romance. She writes emotional warfare disguised as seduction. Sailor, haunted by death and abandonment, meets a man who doesn’t flinch at her darkness—he matches it. Their chemistry isn’t sweet. It’s volatile. Their connection isn’t healing. It’s addictive. And their kinks? Aligned like stars in a doomed constellation.

This isn’t a slow burn. It’s a wildfire. And if you’re into possessive MMCs with mommy issues and a taste for emotional chaos, Run For Me will ruin you in the best way.

Book 1 of Until You're Mine Duet

Wow, this book was unexpected in the best way!
I was immediately drawn to this book and once I dove in I was hooked. It's a thrilling dark romance that had me giddy with excitement and eager with anticipation. I loved that the MMC remains a mystery to unravel throughout the story. The characters are fun and interesting. The plot is twisted and so spicy!

Tropes:
Masked Man
Stalker
Hidden Identity
Virgin FMC
Primal/Chasing
Secret society
Alpha
Obsessive/Possessive
Kinky
Love Triangle
Morally Grey MC
Touch Her and ☠️

Dual POV
Sailor is an introvert through and through, she has secret desires she wishes to explore but would only admit to her journal until...

The Masked Man is a sexy bad-boy, all tattooed, morally gray, and so delicious. Is he twisted and unhinged? Absolutely! Do we still want him? YES!

How their relationship began is completely unconventional and had all the red flags flying, but I just loved how it developed and evolved. I was obsessed with them.

I was unprepared for that ending! I'm hanging on the cliff gahhhh.

Ooohhh, the stalking and downright dirty thoughts that Sailor has. And how Jaxon helps her with her deepest desires.

Sailor has lost everyone she loves. She has always kept to herself and keeps her head down. She's in a relationship that she feels nothing for but is too scared to end it until Jaxon picks up her pink journal. Jaxon finds Sailors journal but has no clue who it belongs to until he goes to reading it, and it leads to a username. Soon, he's messaging, and it turns into so much from there.

Soon, Sailor and Jaxon enter into an agreement, but it becomes so much more for both of them. However, secrets come out, and soon, Sailor doesn't trust anything, and she runs from Jaxon.

It ends on a cliffhanger, and I am not happy about it. She goes running to the last person I thought she would and then ends. I can't wait to finish Sailor and Jaxons story. I need to know

If I could rate this higher than 5 stars, I definitely would.

Run for Me completely consumed me from page one—I couldn’t put it down if I tried. Penny Fox knows how to bring the perfect mix of tension, passion, and raw emotion that keeps you hooked. The characters felt so real, their chemistry electric, and the way their story unfolded had me on the edge of my seat. I laughed, I gasped, and I definitely swooned more than once. This is exactly the kind of dark, twisty, unputdownable romance I crave. Penny Fox has become an auto-buy author for me after this one. Highly recommend if you want a story that keeps your heart racing and your soul screaming for more! Reaching the end of the book made me want to cry, I needed more!! The cliffhanger is killing me!!

Now I’ll impatiently wait for the second part of this amazing duet to come out..

Run for me by Penny Fox was such a great read. It kept me entertained and questioning what might happen next.

In this book, you follow Sailor through her secual awaken and see her go from innocent to living out some of her darkest fantasies. All is great until everything goes wrong where she becomes terrified and we are left on a cliff hanger for what is going to happen next.

I loved following Sailor and how she become comfortable with her sexuality and sexual fantisities to the point where she finally accepted herself. I was disappointed with how Jaxon handled himself with the final issue in the story but he handled it exactly as his personality would expect. I can only hope that he redeems himself in the next book.

I look forwards to reading the next book.

This v!rgin doesn't want sweet

Sailor may seems like the sweet innocent nerd but she is so much more. She has lost everyone except a random boy she has been "dating" online. However, with him wanting to meet in person she is realizing how much he appears the perfect boyfriend and how much that really isn't what she craves. Only her journal knows those dark secrets...until she loses it and someone finds it. Someone who is very interested in what she really wants.

When he finds her username he is determined to find out more about journal girl. He is obsessed with her and wants to make her fantasies come true. Now he needs to get her to agree.

This book is super spicy. Primal chase, masked man, stalking, all the danger but knowing that her journal thief isn't out to hurt her more than she allows.

I absolutely devoured this book and can't wait for part two.

Run for me is the first half of a duet Until You're Mine and what a start it was. I'm not even sure where to start. I had no idea what to expect from this book. This is the first book I've read by this author and I'll be sure to keep my eyes open for her other works. The story is robust and rich and the characters are all well fleshed out. It has so many different tropes working their behinds off in the story and I appreciated it fully. There's angst, tension, twists and turns, and steam. The spice was three michelin stars and it hit a lot of my buttons. My only complaint is that it ends in a cliffhanger. I mean, I knew this was a duet and that it will, inevitably end in one, but still... Now I have to wait. Sigh... Anyway, This one is definitely worth the wait. I would highly recommend.

**This book is a 10⭐️ not a 5⭐️

I love a good Stalker(but in a good way). 🤣😂
Sailor and Jaxon’s chemistry is out of this world. I couldn’t put it down. I finished this book in one sitting!!
Sailor loses her journal, and by chance Jaxon finds it. He tries to locate the owner. He looks inside it, and discovers a username. He begins texting her, and he starts teasing her with her own words. It was just supposed to be for fun, but eventually, he becomes addicted to her. When secrets begin to come out, what will they do? Can Jaxon accept every part of her? Can Sailor accept every part of him.?
It ends on a cliffhanger uugghh Lol. Can’t wait for the next book. I need more Jaxon and Sailor 💜💜.

Run For Me is book one in the Until You're Mine Duet.

Hot, hot, hot! The spice is high and the build up to everything was extraordinary. It does have a few darker moments, but nothing over the top.

Sailor hides her wants and desires in her notebook and when someone finds this she decides to embrace who she truly is. She goes on a bit of a mission of discovery. Trying to figure out what she actually wants in her life and seeing if she can cope with it all. However, there are some manipulative people around trying to ruin this for her and we get left with wondering if she is going to be able to move on from the betrayal she feels.

As this is the first book in a duet, we do get left on the edge and eagerly awaiting the next installment of the duet.

This is a dark romance so please read trigger warnings. Sailor is alone in the world and doesn't understand her sensual desires. In fact, she is disgusted by her need for primal play and rough sex. She has hidden from all that, only expressing them in her journal. When she loses that journal and the man who finds it has similar tastes, she begins a journey of self-acceptance. Unfortunately, the man she finds acceptance with has a past that catches up with them both. The writing is excellent and the characters intriguing and engaging. Lots of action and character growth for Sailor and Jaxon. We end on a cliffhanger and I can't wait for the next book of their journey.

Throughly enjoyed reading this dark/stalker romance.

Sailor, a young girl, who’s lost all the family she had left, starts at college, attempting to start fresh. With a long distance boyfriend she wished she loved more and some dark desires she keeps hidden inside her diary, she attends her first day. Only to immediately loose her diary and receive texts from a mysterious stranger that seems to know far too much about her.

This is the first book in Penny Fox’s ‘until your mine’ series and is definitely worth a read.

Run For Me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Penny Fox
JT/Jaxon and Sailor
Sailor has a pink journal that she’s written in every Sunday since her mother’s passing. She has decided to go to college after all the heartache she’s endured the last couple of years. JT happens to come across a pink journal that was on the floor and was trying to find the owner. He decided to look at the first page to see if there was a name in the journal, but there wasn’t. She wrote her dark secrets in there of what she liked, and was scared that he was going to share it with everyone which gave her a lot of anxiety. Can the two of them allow a relationship to work or will people from their pasts get in the way?

Wow! Sailor wanted to fulfill her kinks and Jaxon definitely was the man for the job!!! Stalking, hunting, dirty talk, and so much more in this book. These two were so not looking for anything serious or forever but the attachment and feelings happened along the way.

The excitement of his face being covered was another thrill to make this book so interesting. Who is he and what will his identity uncover?

Well we found out at the end of the book! It was nothing that Sailor was ready for and now she is questioning her decisions.

Can’t wait for the next book to see how this will end!! Couldn’t put this down! I know the next one won’t disappoint either! Great book!!!

" We're playing a dangerous game, and someone is bound to get hurt- which one of us will it be?."

There isn't a book out there that penny has wrote that I have not loved. And when I seen she had this one out, I knew I had to jump on it and I'm so glad I did. I loved reading every minute of it. Couldn't put it down once I sunk my teeth into it..

Masked men? Yes please!

It's such a wild rollercoaster ride with twists and turns, that will have you on the edge of your seat, begging for more.

It's action packed, spicy , thrilling, hot and so much more. I can't wait for the next book. Highly recommend.

Really good. I love everything Penny writes. This was about Sailor. She lost all her family at different points in her life. She went to college and stayed in the house where she was living with her grandparents. They left the house to her when the passed away. She wrote everything down in a journal. One day she lost it and another college student found it. He wanted to give it back but he didn’t know who it belonged to. He read it and found a user name for a gaming site and he messaged her. They messaged each other for a long time but never met in person. He figured out her desires and he helped her. She never knew his name either until a long time in. Can’t wait for book 2.

Ever have a manic period of time where your mind is going a million miles an hour and you can't decide how you feel about things? That's me at the end of this book. I have such a love-hate relationship with cliffies, and here I am hanging with ALL THE QUESTIONS 🤯!!!!! One of my favorite k1nks to read will always be primal, and it is so good when Sailor and her masked man come out to play 😈. Their story is funny and spicy and anger inducing and even pulls on the heart strings. Another great story that I'd love to watch as a movie!

Left Me Panting!!!

This is one of my favourite reads this year. It had my on the edge of my seat and I can’t believe I gotta wait for more! Believe me, I slid right into the ear of this author to poke her hoping she would give me some scraps to hold me through.

Jaxon is hot, dark, and stalkerish in all the perfect ways. He ignites a fire in Sailor that she was afraid to set free. The two together may be one of the hottest couples I’ve read in a while. Loved every moment of this read. I lost a lot of sleep because I couldn’t put it down!

I am absolutely obsessed. I finished this book and instantly want to read it again. I was hooked from the very beginning. I love how sailor got to explore her fantasies in a thrilling but safe way (as safe as you can with a psychopath). I love how Jax checks in on her to make sure he's not going to far. They fit so well together. But can she accept all of him?
I can not wait for the next one to see what happens.
