A.K. Evans is a contemporary romance author of over twenty published novels. While she enjoys writing a good romantic suspense novel, Andrea’s favorite books to write have been her extreme sports romances. That might have something to do with the fact that she, along with her husband and two sons, can’t get enough of extreme sports.

Before becoming a writer, Andrea did a brief stint in the insurance and financial services industry and managed her husband’s performance automotive business. That love of extreme sports? She used to drive race cars!

When Andrea isn’t writing, she can be found homeschooling her two sons, doing yoga, snowboarding, reading, or traveling with her family. She and her husband are currently taking road trips throughout the country to visit all 50 states with their boys.

There is just something about the Harper Security men that you cannot get enough of. I love the connection that Blaze and Harlow have. It is fun and unexpected between them. But then add the twisty stuff that is aiming for the company, Harlow and their relationship is caught in the crosshairs of whomever is trying to take out the team. I loved how this one all played out. It had me on my toes and a silly smile with these two! Great read!

It is entirely too easy to fall in love with the guys who work at Harper Security Ops! Every single one of these guys is exactly what we want in a good book boyfriend!!
I mean - I know why I love this one, but why should YOU read this story?!

> For Harlow - a sweet businesswoman, who's trying to be a bit more adventurous.
> For Blaze - a kind, capable hottie, who sees an opportunity and grabs it.
> For the intrigue and mystery of who is causing all the troubles in Steel Ridge.

The beginning had my pulse galloping, and my nerves tingling - as this author is excellent in doing - and then I was easily pulled into the slow and sensual attraction between these two, the heartbreaking start temporarily forgotten. Blaze is exactly what we want him to be, and I enjoyed watching their journey to love, until the drama of the unexpected violence creeps back into the storyline, and the beginning is realized! It was impossible to tear myself away from these pages, it was so good! I was on the edge of my seat, waiting for the guys of HSO to do their "thing", (that I absolutely love), and I enjoyed the resolution to this one.

This series has been a delight to read, and each couple has unique challenges to face, before realizing their forever. I can hardly believe this is book 15 in this series!
The characters and storyline is as fresh, engaging, and as interesting as book one, book five, book ten, well - you get it!! :) While i recommend reading in order for the best experience, and to avoid spoilers, each story has it's own features that can be stand-alone, if you choose.

I highly recommend this author. Her works are original, addictive, that contain easy to love characters with sizzling chemistry and steamy connections, that keep me entertained and happy.
I recommend any and all in her catalog of works... there's something for anyone to connect with and enjoy!

Sheltered is a touching and uplifting romance that captured my heart from the very beginning. This book offers a beautiful blend of emotional depth and compelling characters, making it a memorable read in the contemporary romance genre.

The story centers around two main characters whose paths cross in a way that changes both of their lives forever. Evans does a fantastic job of crafting their individual backstories, allowing readers to fully understand and empathize with their struggles and triumphs. The chemistry between the protagonists is undeniable, and their journey from strangers to something much more is both heartwarming and realistic.

One of the strongest aspects of this book is its character development. Both main characters are well-rounded and relatable, with strengths and vulnerabilities that make them feel real. Their growth throughout the story is portrayed with sensitivity and nuance, making their relationship feel genuine and deeply emotional. I especially appreciated how Evans handled the themes of healing and trust, which are central to the characters' development.

The pacing of the story is well-balanced, with a good mix of introspective moments and engaging interactions. This kept me invested in the narrative and eager to see how the characters' relationship would evolve. The plot is straightforward yet impactful, focusing on the emotional journeys of the characters rather than unnecessary drama or plot twists.

The supporting characters add richness to the story, each contributing to the protagonists' lives in meaningful ways. Their interactions provide moments of humor, support, and additional depth to the main storyline. Evans' writing style is smooth and evocative, making it easy to connect with the characters and their experiences.

While the book deals with some heavy themes, such as trauma and loss, it does so with a sense of hope and resilience that left me feeling uplifted. Evans' ability to balance these darker elements with a sense of optimism and love is commendable.

In conclusion, Sheltered is a heartfelt and engaging read that will appeal to fans of contemporary romance. Evans delivers a story that is both emotionally rich and uplifting, making it a must-read for anyone looking for a poignant and inspiring love story. This book earns a solid four stars from me for its well-crafted characters, emotional depth, and evocative writing.

A.K. Evans' Sheltered, the 15th instalment in the Harper Security Ops series, continues to captivate with its unique blend of suspense and romance. Each story in this extraordinary series brings something fresh to the table, and *Sheltered* is no exception. From the very first page, you know that your reading experience will never be the same.

One of the standout features of Sheltered is its compelling female lead, Harlow. She's a force to be reckoned with in her professional life, exuding confidence and competence. However, Ms Evans masterfully balances this strength with a vulnerability in Harlow's personal life, making her a relatable and multi-dimensional character. This contrast in her personality not only drives the heartwarming storyline but also endears her to the reader, creating a deep emotional connection.

The story itself is meticulously crafted, with a suspense element that keeps you on the edge of your seat. The prologue, in particular, adds an extra layer of intrigue and gut-wrenching vulnerability setting the stage for the emotional ride to come. This initial hook guarantees one read sitting.

*Sheltered* excels as both a sweet, slow-building romance and a high-stakes thriller. The romantic subplot develops at a natural pace, allowing for genuine chemistry and depth to emerge between the characters. On the flip side, the increasing danger surrounding the Harper Security team adds a pulse-pounding intensity that keeps the pages turning.

A K Evans' ability to blend these elements seamlessly is what makes *Sheltered* such a compelling read. Whether you're here for the romance or the suspense, this book delivers on both fronts. Fans of the Harper Security Ops series will find *Sheltered* to be a worthy addition, while new readers will be drawn in by its engaging characters and thrilling plot.

In short, Sheltered is a must-read for anyone who loves a good romantic suspense. A.K. Evans has once again proven her prowess in crafting stories that are as emotionally resonant as they are thrilling. Don’t miss out on this latest adventure with the Harper Security Ops team.

𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 is the 15th book in the Harper Security Ops series by A.K. Evans, featuring an entertaining opposites attract, romantic suspense story for Harlow and Blaze. Tired of her quiet, sheltered life, Harlow joined a dating app. When her date turned into a catastrophe, she found herself rescued by an intriguing stranger named Blaze, who made her feel safe right away. Their connection is immediate, and just as they are solidifying their relationship, danger seems to be moving in. Can Blaze protect Harlow and uncover and neutralize the threat at the same time?

Wow! That Prologue had my heart in my throat!! However, once the flashback started, I was so transfixed by the story I forgot I needed to be worried. These HSO guys just keep getting better and better!! I just loved how respectful and compassionate Blaze was with Harlow, taking things at her pace. They had a fantastic connection, great banter and communication, spicy chemistry, and so much love. I enjoyed their little dates, scenes with family and friends, and more. To be honest, the suspense aspect stole the show for me. I loved the scope of it, the dramatic twists and turns, and the way it brought the team together to figure out what was going on. It was also kind of hot to see the alpha protector come out with some definite “Touch Her and 💀” vibes! This story honestly had a little bit of everything, and I can’t wait for the next one!!

I received an ARC for free, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

Good…But

I had some issues with this story. While Blaze and Harlow were likable enough, the author made Harlow too child like. Too immature.

No one’s gonna believe she was 32 and still a virgin. Also,10 years without a date was a bit of a stretch as well. I would’ve bought the story if she was 26 or 27 and maybe hadn’t had a good date in 5 years.

Also her ruminating over whether she and Blaze were just in the honeymoon stage or if things were always gonna be as they were. Come on. A mature adult knows that the early dating stage is not reality. Of course things are not going to stay exactly like that all the time. This made me feel like asking: what is she 32 going on 16?

Also I don’t recall any mention of the military service Blaze must have done. Since all the men working at Harper Security Ops are military.

I did like the story line though. It was a nice change from the usual. To have him rescue her from a bad date in the pub. I liked that.

But, Harlow‘s character could’ve been developed as a more mature woman. Especially because she was supposed to be 32 years old! Just because someone is sheltered does not mean they’re child like. And that is just how Harlow came across.

But I’m enjoying the series. Obviously when it’s a series you enjoy some books more than others. I enjoyed parts of this, but I just felt like Harlow, as a woman in her 30s, could have been portrayed more like a mature adult.

But I will reiterate this, the story would be easier to digest if she had been in her mid-20s and had not gone on a decent date for about 5 years. Anything over that is really pushing the believability. While possible, it’s not probable.

It is still enjoyable and worth reading though.

This is the fifteenth book in this series. They can be read as standalone books but I think they are better read in order. This is Blaze and Harlow’s book. They are definitely opposites. Harlow owns her own hair salon and doesn’t go out much and only has a few friends. Blaze has been watching a bunch of the guys he works with find wonderful women and fall in love. He can’t wait for the same to happen to him. They meet in kind of a cute way. Harlow had joined a dating app and was on her first date. Which wasn’t going well at all. The man wasn’t anything like he presented himself on the app and during their texting. Blaze saw the whole thing and gave her an out pretending to be someone she knew but hadn’t seen in a bit. Blaze and Harlow hit it off right away and begin seeing each other. They are the only couple in a while who didn’t meet while on a case. Things have been happening around town. At first, they seem random but then the guys realize they are connected. The connection is Harper Security. Someone wants to get revenge or hurt those connected to Harper Security. Blaze can only hope that because his relationship with Harlow is so new and no one really knows about it that she will be safe. He lets her know what is happening so she isn’t caught off guard. Will they be able to figure out who is after them before it is too late? This book was a great read. Harlow and Blaze are perfect for each other. Harlow always saying she is boring and plain. Blaze helps her experience all kinds of new things. He goes at her pace and just wants to be with her. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I love this series. There are one or two that I haven’t read but they are on my tbr list. Fantastic job A.K. Evans

For someone who’s a tad stuck in their routine, Harlow definitely picks a big way to change it. Even better, she picks that way to begin in the same place that Blaze happens to be hanging out. So when he comes to the rescue in the midst of a less than stellar date, she can’t believe that this could be her life. Even taking time to think it over, Harlow just knows that Blaze could mean the start of something great. Or so she hopes.

Blaze hopes the same, honestly. He’s remaining patient with the hope that she reaches out, so when it happens, he’s all in on making sure they’re on the same page. And not in a creepy way. Nope. These two communicate clearly. They don’t have a need for unnecessary misery or worries. They don’t play games. But they do fall in love. Now they just have to survive whatever is coming ever closer with dangerous acts that keep escalating to find their forever.

Honestly, the cause of the danger is one that these guys anticipated, but also not. They didn’t take into account just how deep some anger can go to fester and become one’s entire being. But with a little bit of guidance in the form of Harlow remaining stronger than anyone expects, they connect all the dots just in time. Or close enough. So now another man has found his forever, and there’s one less to be alone. I look forward to the one who finds his next, too.

Harlow has a blooming business as a hair stylist, she owns her own home and she has a loving family and some great friends. But she can't help feeling that life is passing her by. She's not brave or adventurous and everyday things that others take for granted she has missed out on.

After plucking up the courage to try online dating she suffers through the date from he((. Thankfully Blaze was at a neighbouring table and acted as her white knight. From that meet-cute these two blossom into one of the cutest, sweetest and adventurous couples at HSO!

Blaze is everything that Harlow wants to be: outgoing, adventurous, experienced. He's also kind, determined and patient - all things Harlow needs to let her shine!

I loved the fraught opening - wondering what on earth happens that leads Harlow into that situation. Then the super slow burn and intense chemistry between Harlow and Blaze is just - mwaaah perfection. Blaze never makes Harlow feel less than and at times is stumped by her reaction to otherwise banal comments. But once things are explained we realise that whilst smart and savvy she is also terribly naïve and inexperienced in certain areas.

I love getting to see all the previous couples pop in and out of the following stories - it's like seeing old friends. Roll on the next book!

Just when I think there's no way I could love another Harper Ops couple more than the past couples.... along comes Harlow & Blaze. I absolutely loved Harlow's sweet, shy personality. I think she can be related to by many women her age, feeling stuck in the ordinary with no sense of adventure or true living. While joining a dating app may not have gone the way she originally hoped, it led her right to Blaze which turned out to be exactly where she needed to be. And Blaze?! Is he not the PERFECT book boyfriend, ever?? Every woman needs a man like Blaze. He's protective, patient, kind, encouraging, and always up for checking off every item on Harlow's list of "things I've never done" without expectations of where the relationship is going. His gentle, loving personality won Harlow's heart over quicker than he expected, and it was just the most beautiful love story, until danger threatens everything. What is an Evans book without some suspense and action? This whole story was amazing beginning to end, and each book makes me love Harper Ops Security men more and more. This is a series I dread coming to an end. Audio version was OUTSTANDING! The narrators were the perfect pair to bring this story to life.

I love the Harper Security Ops series by AK Evans, and book 15 (Sheltered) is an amazing addition to it! That being said, you need to meet Harlow and Blaze!

Harlow is a small business owner of a salon in Steel Ridge and Blaze is a Private Investigator for Harper Security Ops. They meet by chance when Harlow is on her first date in 10 years. Blaze happens to be at the pub where Harlow is meeting her date. Her "date" is very late, and proceeds to tell Harlow all about his "expectations" for how he sees the evening going. Blaze overhears the entire exchange, and could tell she was uncomfortable. He steps in to help her out. While her first date in what feels like forever didn't turn out as Harlow envisioned, it is the start of something so much more than either Harlow or Blaze ever could have imagined.

Harlow is lovely and sweet, Blaze is protective and caring. It's amazing to watch their love story unfold, even as an old case comes back to haunt the whole team at Harper Security Ops and threatens their loved ones.

This is a must read in the series! Run, don't walk, to explore more of Steel Ridge by grabbing your copy of Sheltered. You won't regret it!

Every time I read a Harper Security Ops book I am swept off my feet by the men who work there. Sheltered is a spine-tingling, addictive, suspense-filled page-turner that you can't seem to put down. Ms. Evans writes storylines that have you hooked right from the start and before you know it you are at the end of the book and wishing for more.
Blaze to the rescue and that is what makes him swoon-worthy. He sees a stranger struggling and uncomfortable on a date and decides to be a gentleman and play the part of a visiting friend. Harlow, the woman on the date, is making a lifestyle change and decides that it's time to get out there and uses a dating app. Things don't go as planned and in walks, Blaze, a tall and sexy man who sweeps her off her feet. They had an instant attraction and the more time they are together the stronger the pull becomes.
Great banter, chemistry, and a relationship that goes from a friendship to a spicy relationship. The twists and turns that were thrown at me had my head spinning and wanting to find out who was behind everything and why. These two were made for one another.

Loved it!!

Sheltered is the 15th book in the Harper Security Ops series. It can be read as a standalone, though some of the characters from previous books do show up later in the story, so it might be helpful to have a little background.
Harlow is a hairstylist who has led a fairly simple and sheltered life. When she finally decides to step out of her comfort zone and try online dating apps, she realizes how quickly things can take a turn for the worse.
Blaze helps Harlow out of her icky date and while he turns on the charm, he let’s Harlow lead. Remaining patient, Blaze holds out hope that Harlow will reach out for a date.
When she finally does, the story takes on a sweet, slow burn vibe. These two don’t play games. They communicate well and slowly fall in love. Unfortunately as they are focused on one another, someone else is focused on making the men of Harper Security suffer.
I liked the vibe of this story. While I read A.K. Evans novels for the suspense, and I like em a bit more dramatic, this one has small bits throughout prolonging the story. Well written. Enjoyable read.

Blaze Matthews has seen his coworkers at Harper Security Ops fall in love one after another. Although he is happy for them, he is wondering if his chance will come. Blaze is a little more low key in the series but when help is needed, he is there. Harlow Stout may have lived a sheltered life but that is not stopping her from trying to experience things now. When a chance meeting leads Blaze to Harlow he knows there is something about her that just fits. However, as they grow closer someone is trying to bring those connected to Harper Security Op's down. Blaze and company must try and figure out the connection before it’s too late. This is a slow burn romance between Blaze and Harlow but as you read their story unfold, you know that these characters bring out the best in each other. This book was a little more suspenseful than the other books in the series and I really enjoyed it. This book can be read as stand alone but with this being book 15 I the series and with the plot, you may want to familiarize yourself with the other characters. I also find myself binging on these books the day they come out and now I’m left waiting until the next book in the series comes out. 

Back to Steel Ridge with the guys of Harper Security and I absolutely love this series and book 15, is just as good as I thought it would be. AK Evans does an amazing job with her books and each one gets better and better, this one included!!!

JF Harding and Melissa Moran are our voices as we visualize Blaze and Harlow. They both do such an incredible job in their character role. Narrators make or break audible book and AK Evans did an great job choosing these two to represent book 15!

Tropes:
Small-town
Former Military
Protector
Forced proximity

Harlow, after being out of the dating game for years, decided to go out with someone she met through a dating app…ughh, it didn’t go well at all. Blaze, sitting at the pub, overhears this guy chatting with someone and he could see how uncomfortable she was so he decided to step in and help ease her and he does just that.

Blaze and Harlow fast became my favorite in this series by just reading their story play out and I know as this series winds down, I am going to be heartbroken when it is over…thank god for re-reads and repeat on the audio version!!!

We are back with the Harper Security Ops, where another finds the woman that will change their life.
Harlow Stout, a hair stylist, has led a sheltered life filled with routine and no excitement. She’s ready to shake things up and decides using a dating app is the perfect way to start. Little did she know she would be needing a rescue from that date. It comes in the form of Blaze Matthews.
Meeting Harlow and coming to her rescue, opens his eyes to the possibility of a future with her.
But of course, with these guys, there is sure to be some danger and these two find it.
Will they find their HEA as well?
These two characters were delightful to meet and spend time with .
One of the things I love about this series, is that we get a chance to “visit” with characters of previous stories.
Lastly, JF Harding and Melissa Moran , the narrators, bring the story to life and delivering another engaging story in the series.
I was entrusted a copy of this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

I absolutely love A.K. Evans books.... There are books that you can absolutely not finish, books that hold you but you can put it down and get back to it eventually, and then there are books that you start to read and just can't put it down because YOU can't wait to see what happens. This is the latter of those scenarios. Harlow meets Blaze at a bar and lightning strikes. What I love about AK Evans books is that she can start a relationship and bring you along in a way that makes you feel that it is real. Not just some sappy love story. All the Harper Security Ops books are this way. Let me say if you have not read them all then you are missing out. They feel like a family that is there when you need them and only wants the best for you. It is magical and Blaze and Harlow are the latest love story that will make you fall in love with them. There is like, lust, love and danger everything you want in a good book. This time it is not just on in trouble but all. Dive in and enjoy because you will not be disappointed.

Sheltered is book number 15 in the Harper Ops series, and I have read most of them. I missed a few in the middle and plan on finishing them soon. This book is about hairdresser Harlow and PI Blaze. The beginning of the book has Harlow in danger, then goes back 2 months.

Harlow is on the worst blind dates of her life. Overhearing them, Blaze steps in and they go for coffee. They both hit it off and start seeing each other. Blaze tries to plan fun dates for Harlow since she has limited experience dating anything fun. Meanwhile, the other woman in the Harper Ops team are being targeted by masked men and vandalized.

Blaze and the team are trying to figure out who is behind the as his relationship with Harlow grows. I mostly enjoyed this book with a couple of exceptions. I find the 32 year old virgin storyline kind of unbelievable, and I’m not a big virgin fan. Otherwise, this was very well written, though I could have done with less of Harlow’s worrying about everything. That being said, I still really liked the book and look forward to more.

I love a good drama and suspense story and this one did not disappoint. I have loved the Harper Security Ops books from the beginning and each time I can't imagine that they can get any better. However, this book proved me wrong by pulling me in right from the start. The way this book begins is intense and then bam, I'm back in the past and seeing Blaze and Harlow's meet cute moment and all the time knowing that danger is coming! I could not get enough of this book and was on the edge of my seat dying to know what was going to happen and how it would all work out. The writing is amazing and the characters are so great. The chemistry between Blaze and Piper is off the charts and even though they are opposites the way they are so open with each other creates such an amazing connection. Blaze is so sweet and just wants to make Piper happy. This is a must read book and series for sure!!! What are you waiting for!

Audio Review:

A.K. Evan’s delivers yet another great addition to the Harper Security Ops series. I cannot get enough of this series, these men, and the woman they fall fast and hard for. Blaze and Harlow were a great addition to this group. She was so sweet and inexperienced, and not many men would have been as kind and gentle with her as Blaze was. But we know by now that the men of Harper Security are the good ones. It took a crazy person to go against the men of HSO and target their women. There was no way that was going to end well for them. My heart broke for Blaze when he realized it was Harlow that was the “chosen one” for the big take down. When he found her in her shop like that…heart skipped a beat. The way the team jumped into action for Blaze and Harlow shows why this group is unmatched. A.K. Evan’s delivered with this super sweet and a little spicy romantic suspense as sad I can’t wait to see what’s in store for the remaining men standing.

Harlow has focused all her attention on ensuring the success of her beauty salon which didn’t give her much time to pursue a personal life. She has decided that it needs to change however her first match on the dating site was a failure until Blaze comes to her rescue.

Blaze is a member of Harper Security who sees that Harlow is feeling uncomfortable, so he steps in. The feelings they have for each other are undeniable and a relationship begins to develop between them When someone seems to be targeting the team they need to know who it is and why before property damage escalates into something much more dire.

I enjoyed the slower pace of their romance as they got to know each other, and Blaze is thoughtful when it comes to ensuring the time they spend together Is special. The suspense part of the story is unexpected which only makes it more entertaining.

Blaze & Harlow

He watched the team "falling" one by one. Falling in love. Maybe it was time he found someone to share his life. Harlow was at the age she needed to find someone if she wanted the future she'd dreamed of. Meeting, they might be the answer to both of their dreams.

Things are going well for them until someone or someones begin to target the team. Will Harlow be the next victim? Will they live to find a future together?

This may be my favorite couple. The characters, new and old, are real people, the steam strong enough to keep them warm for the entire winter, the enemy hard to figure out, and a great story.

What happens when you try to make changes in your life?!?!? You might end up in a like Harlow at a date with someone you'd rather not be with. Luckily Blaze was around to step in and make things better. Whew! Harlow's been pretty sheltered; she hasn't dated much or experienced much. However, she decides that Blaze is a good person to come out of her shell with. He's kind, considerate, respectful. That slow burn leading up to the start of their physical relationship was something! Melissa Moran and JF Harding were perfect as Harlow and Blaze. They brought the characters to life and added to the romantic suspense of the story.

I received a complimentary copy of the book at my request and voluntarily left this review.

Harlow is a local hair dresser who wants to expand her social life. In a chance encounter, she meets Blaze, who saves her from a wretched date. Blaze is a Private Investigator with Harper Security.

I really enjoyed this book! Blaze and Harlow are such a cute couple. Most of the story is about them getting to know each other, and their dating. But there is a hint of suspense underneath the main story. It made me need to find out what would happen! I love a good romantic suspense story.

This is one of my favorite series. Sheltered is a fantastic addition to the rest of the stories. I can’t wait for more!

Sheltered is a sweet romance with some mystery and intrigue thrown in! Harlow and Blaze’s story is so touching. I love their random meeting and the slow burn building of their relationship. Harlow is kind and funny, shy and naive, definitely living a sheltered life. Blaze is the perfect gentleman, willing to go at her pace and respectful of her journey and boundaries whether Harlow realizes what those are or not. The growing intrigue surrounding their story keeps us engaged and guessing, and I love how the narrators build the suspense, connection, and chemistry through their voices and inflection. This was a great audiobook with all the feels!

Harlow tries a dating app that doesn't work out so well but is rescued by Blaze. Lots of surprises!

Blaze and Harlow have a really sweet meet-cute. Harlow is 32 and hasn't dated in 10 years and is very inexperienced in the ways of romance. He works for Harper Security Ops and it seems someone has it out for them, or the significant others of the workers. So far it's their businesses that are being targeted, vandalism mostly, until they take it up a notch to attempted murder of Harlow in her beauty salon. Will the revenge be successful? Will they be able to catch the troublemaker? Thank you Andrea, wonderful story and stunning, steamy and perfect matched couple!

I liked the characters, Blaze and Harlow and how they connected with the refreshing storyline. Blaze is one of those characters where I wished I had someone like him in my corner. Harlow has her goals and set out to meet them, however, meeting Blaze while on a date was not what she envisioned, yet how perfect it was for her. When someone begins targeting the women of Harper Security, Blaze is focused on keeping Harlow safe. With plenty of suspense and dramatic conclusion, Harper Security series remains one of my favorite series.

Audiobook Review

Blaze was the swooniest hottie. He’s sweet, attentive and patient- everything Harlow needs. Harlow has been set in her ways all her life and finally decides to take a risk at something different. This risk goes terribly wrong but also so very very right when she meets Blaze. Their story is an epic love at first sight romance with a touch of suspense and action.
Narrated by JF Harding as Blaze and Melissa Moran as Harlow, this audiobook will keep the listener entertained and engaged, wanting to know who’s done it, what’s happening next until the end.

Blaze and Harlow. I don’t know how A.K. Evans does it, but she manages to suck me in with characters I become so friggin’ invested in. Like his Harper Security Ops brethren, Blaze’s inner gorgeousness somehow manages to eclipse his absolute hotness. And sweet, hardworking Harlow is a woman we all wish would be our bestie. Engaging, relatable characters, great plot with a bit of suspense, and all the sizzle and steam we could want in a love story, brought to life in a really good performance by new-to-me narrators JF Harding and Melissa Moran. Just once reason to love all things A.K. Evans!

OMG 😱 this was an extraordinary series so far. It was addicted and sensational of romance between them. It was a page turner an I was hooked. The suspense was mind blowing. Blaze Matthews and Harlow Stout they lived a dangerous life but they were the men of honor. And they were going to take care of business they was on a mission to saved lives. They were falling love with each other and it was so cute.
I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. Trina Jones
