Finding You was a quick and spicy read. I enjoyed the back and forth between Bastian and Audrey, the chemistry they had was undeniable. The two-night stand, turned forbidden office romance was funny mixed with a tinge of sadness.
I was a little nervous that this book was going to be more spice than plot but was pleasantly surprised when the story picked up. It is still heavy on the spice, but very enjoyable. 4/5⭐

This is my first read by DL Gallie. The blurb caught my eye and I decided to give it a go. I enjoyed every second. The connection, the banter, the storyline all had me hooked. Audrey is feisty and I could not get enough of her. Bas is playing the long game and man does he. I also have the feeling that there were some character crossovers from other books of hers. Finding you starts with a chance meeting where Audrey, a book editor, and Bastian, a CEO of a publishing company, meet, have some flirty banter and Audrey bounces. Bastian is hooked so when they meet again they share a passionate night together where Audrey once again disappears. On their third chance encounter they share another passionate night and then go their separate ways. Unfortunately for Audrey, she runs into Bastian again when she gets a job at his publishing company. Bastion wants Audrey, Audrey wants to keep her job and refuses him at every turn thanks to the company’s no fraternization policy. What follows is a quick spicy read with a cat and mouse game between Bastian and Audrey.
I really liked this book. If you want a spicy read where the MMC falls hard for a mysterious FMC while she keeps him on his toes, this book is for you. I loved how Audrey kept Bastion at arms length despite her attraction because a the end of the day her job was important to her. She made Bastion essentially prover himself to her and even though he had a few missteps, he ultimately stepped up in a big way. I love the push and pull between this couple. She’s done it again!! DL delivers another great book full of characters you’ll fall in love and have a laugh with.
We meet Bastian (Bas to his friends) Blackstone, CEO and strong business of Blackstone Publishing. We also meet Audrey (Drey) McKeown, an editor of romance books.
The two meet one night in a bar, and are instantly attracted to each other. The chemistry is hot from the get go, and a wild night ensues. But Drey leaves before Bastian wakes up. Fate brings them back together for another night but again she takes off…

Bastian does everything to convince Audrey to go out with him but she’s firm on the company policy, his brother reminds him he’s the boss and could change it.
When he shows up in New York where Audrey has a meeting with a client one drink leads to more and Audrey swears no more. Returning to work a trip to the hospital reveals they weren’t as careful as they both thought. Seeing Sebastian’s reaction she knows she’s got some decisions to make.

I loved this story of Bastian and Audrey. Audrey is an editor who bumps into Bastian in a bar one night and falls for his pickup lines. They end up spending the night, then Audrey takes off, and Bastian has no idea who she is. A couple of months later, fate plays its hand again, and they get stranded together, spending another night together before going their separate ways again. Audrey lands the job of a lifetime, and when she gets taken to meet the CEO, she can't believe her eyes to find it's him, Bastion. Bastion can't believe his luck and tries to win Audrey over. But she won't fall for his wily charms because there is an employee rule of no fraternization. D.L. keeps you turning the pages with the antics between the two to avoid each other. She also gives you a few giggles with the witty banter between the two.

At first I thought this was just going to be heat and sex, however well written the scenes and the chemistry between the characters, I thought it was going to get a bit staid. Don't get me wrong it was good but I do like a bit more to a story. Thankfully it started to become more and the story and romance developed into a really great read, there was more than just sex. The characters started to get to know each other and click in other ways, other characters as well helped with the connection and this evolved into something I enjoyed and loved. There is some wonderful banter and some unexpected curveballs giving it a more rounded read.

Absolutely loved Bastian and Audrey. Bas always gets what he wants and the first time he saw Drey he knew he had to have her, little did he know that she wouldn’t fall to her knees and worship him. No, she was going to be a challenge. These two had a spark that no one had made them feel before, it’s hard to deny and one steamy night and waking up alone, Bas can’t forget Drey. As fate would have it, he’s her new boss and no way can they be together, but Bas is persistent and will not take no for an answer. Will he break her walls down or will Audrey keep the walls up and push him away? These two were fun, witty banter, and steam for days. Another great read by this author.

Serendipity is what this is! Drey is out for a one night stand, though she wouldn’t mind a longer night. Bastian is also after a one night stand, but quickly he falls into the “he falls first” trope and boy does he fall. After this hit one night they had together she dips out on him before he even has a chance to find her full name or phone number. He tries to find her again by retracing his steps. When serendipity steps in he has another chance, only for her to repeat the same thing again. She isn’t playing hard to get, but he sure does work for it. Read this book for a hot and spicy office romance and you may just believe in serendipity yourself!

I haven’t read much by this author but what I have read I have enjoyed and the blurb for Finding You really intrigued me. I wasn’t disappointed because this is a well written, passionate journey that drew me in from the first chapter and didn’t let me go until the final word was read.

D.L. Gallie is a relatively new author to me, but what I have read I have enjoyed.
Bastian Blackstone is the CEO of Blackstone Publishing and the man who Audrey has a couple of passionate nights with. Imagine her shock when she learns that he is her new boss.
He is a man used to getting his own way and he wants Audrey. This was a well written, entertaining read that ticked numerous boxes for me with characters were engaging and easy to relate too.

Bastian and Audrey set the pages alight with their undeniable chemistry and hot and spicy romance. A well written story and well rounded characters give this book about forbidden office romance a great storyline and Bastian is quite relentless in his wooing of Audrey. Audrey tries her hardest to resist his advances but eventually Bastian gets his way and they embark on a beautiful love. I enjoyed this very much and I found myself totally immersed in the story. DL Gallie you have done it again!

This is a cute and spicy read by DL I highly enjoy her stories and this one was a great one. It’s about Audrey and Bastian and their flirty back and forth banter is great! I love that they have these moments in the beginning they are passionate and hot af. Plus there is the tension of the workplace and keeping distance but they have a delicious cat and mouse game! I loved that he fell so hard for her and she kept him kinda guessing great chemistry and I loved how he steps up in the story. Great read with a HEA!

A thoroughly enjoyable billionaire, workplace romance with a side of forced proximity, spice and he-falls-first and surprise pregnancy.
From around a third of the way in - I did not put it down and read the whole last two thirds in one go. It had me fully hooked.
The sexual tension between Bastian and Audrey is clearly there, and the banter between the two was spot on!

Bastian and Audrey's chemistry was off the charts, fate was in place having them find each other again after she left.
When she turned up in his publishing house as the new editor, sparks were flying only he had rules in place for office romances.

FIRE! ABSOLUTE FIRE!
This book starts off with a spice level that's off charts hot, and while the spice is a big part of the story itself, it doesn't become the whole plot.
Loved the instant attraction, and chemistry between Bas and Audrey, and the fact the he falls first is my absolute favorite. The back and forth between the two was brilliant.
A throughly enjoyable, spicy quick read.

Finding You is a fast paced spicy workplace romance.

I loved this fast-paced office romance, there was plenty of steamy romance and absolutely hilarious banter. Bastian and Audrey make a brilliant couple and I found myself enjoying the story more and more as I turned the pages. This author is relatively new to me but I have thoroughly enjoyed what I have read so far and this certainly wasn't an exception. If you are looking for a light-hearted spicy romance look no further, I recommend this book highly.

This is my first book by this author but have to say I really enjoyed it. It was lighter than what I usually read but couldn’t put this book down.

Bastian and Drey keep meeting, but Drey proves illusive. Bastians company, shes determined to follow the on fraternisation policy. Bastain though? Well he has other plans, so how can he win her over?

Finding You is another hit, a must read written by the talented author DL Gallie. This is an office romance full of drama, sexy scenes, witty banter, lots of flowers and chocolates kind of story. The moment I started, I couldn’t put it down. 5+ stars!

I liked Finding You. I thought the characters definitely had a connection and i liked seeing them in the workplace and fighting said attraction but not being able to resist. I thought Beau and Bastian’s relationship was done well. However, i did think the book could be a bit all over the place and i really would’ve liked to have been able to delve deeper into Bastian and Audrey as characters. Really learn more about them and their pasts etc.

I’m going to be honest - I STRUGGLED through this book. I didn’t particularly like Audrey or Bastian and their romance felt wishy-washing at best. Plot wise, it’s mostly a push and pull of we shouldn’t but we do for their workplace relationship.
I found Audrey annoying at best and Bastian was a major hypocrite with his coworkers. I’ve enjoyed previous books by this author so it may very well be that this one was just a once off miss for me.
