Have recently visited Kashi it was indeed beautiful and sacred among all other cities in India. I love Kashi, my heart resides in Kashi. Every step u find shivalinga and kaal bhairav Murtis. Three days is not enough to visit but those three days were spent without tension or future awaitings. Wish to reside forever some day with the grace of Shiva I will definitely stay in Kashi.
Expectionally well curated walks through the scared city of banaras. Great writing and the glossy paper use just enhances the feel of the book. Photos by Constantino are desire to look at. This book has just increased by geekness about exploring cities.
Wanted a more in-depth read on Benaras... but seemed I was skipping through a Lonely Planet blog Disappointed ... by my choice.... had picked the book online so my fault
