I usually don’t like to buy a whole series of a book all at once, and I start reviewing it from the first page. After the first few chapters I decided to give it a chance to see if maybe the writing got any better. While the author had a great story line, I felt it was immature in the delivery.
I hate saying negative things on someone’s work they worked hard on because it’s so much more than just words on a page. There were just so may inconsistencies to the story and so many unbelievable things that happened. The characters were not developed enough for the feelings the author wanted her readers to feel. I am not gonna give up on the author just yet, but the $10 I spent on this was not worth it.
K. R. Bankston, I applaud you on these 4 volumes. I loved them. I read 1-4 without a beat. Hats off. I give each book 5 stars. Hopefully there will be a a 5th coming out.
