Jet-Set Billionaires #2

Tycoon in Tuscany

Rate this book
Getting rescued by my insanely hot, man-of-few-words neighbor was not on my Tuscany to-do list.

Kat
My Kombi van is in a ditch, my plan to build my parents’ dream is already falling apart, and my new neighbor—Marco—is a walking distraction in faded jeans and tight t-shirts. I’m here in Tuscany to restore my crumbling farmhouse and wild vineyard, not to get tangled up with a brooding billionaire whose dinner invitations I can’t refuse.

He’s infuriating, irresistible, and I can’t resist poking at his self-control. When it finally snaps, his kiss consumes me. But with a mysterious buyer trying to force me out, I can’t risk trusting the wrong person—or falling for the wrong guy … again.

Marco
My mission was buy back the land my father gambled away. Securing that land means securing my future. Nothing was supposed to stop me.

Then I met Kat—a beautiful, free-spirited complication I never saw coming. Her touch sets my soul on fire, and she must never know that I’m the person trying to buy her out. I’m supposed to find her weak spot, negotiate, and then seal the deal.

But the more time I spend with her, the more I see she belongs here, hands in the soil, just as much as I do. And when she offers to help me in a dangerous game to change my family’s future, I realize what’s truly at stake.

I thought I needed her vineyard. Turns out I need her. But the secret tying my family to her land could burn us both to the ground.

This is one of those romances that could go sideways very fast. Billionaire with crazy relatives and gorgeous vineyard, Marco, meets rather less affluent woman with dilapidated van broken down by his vineyards, Kat. He hires her to fill in while his housekeeper is called away. He's there while he tries to negotiate the purchase of the much neglected little property next door.

Kat just inherited a little vineyard that her father had hoped to resuscitate and she's there to do just that.

Turns out Kat's vineyard is the property Marco wants to buy.

A mercurial father, a vineyard fire, some trips to luxury in Rome. It's all a crazy ride ride of a novel. I find I'm excited to read another book by this author because she keeps me guessing where the book leads me next and I kind of like that in a book.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Kat was finally going to honour her families legacy. Now, she was finally going to receive her inheritance that had been in trust. Rebuilding the house and the vineyard was going to help her overcome the loss of her parents. Marco was going back to Tuscany for a break from his father. He needed to prepare himself to finally get what he and his brothers needed to put a stop to his father's illegal dealings. Stopping to help the woman broken down in the ditch wasn't supposed to alter him. But she knows what she wants. She's independent, sassy, and beautiful. But he knows she's too good for him. This is a story about family. Can two broken people help each other. Or does history have a way of repeating itself. This is the second in this series, I'm looking forward to Sebastian's story next
