Rate this book
An Alien’s Embrace
What does a young Cheyenne medicine woman in 1636 in the northern territories and a Milieuan alien, Leith Srallister from planet Betelgeuse, have in common? Life, love and pursuit of happiness buried under frozen snow in this snowed in, close proximity romance set on earth and in space on planet Betelgeuse. This is part of the A Shared Space World Collective series.

An Alien’s Embrace, Annalyn’s Story
When Annalyn Srallister goes to earth in a separate spaceship from her brother, Leith, it's a mission to save their kind on planet Betelgeuse. When she gets into earth's atmosphere, thinking she was landing in 1636, something happens and she ends up going through a wormhole to the future of 1986 and crashes her ship, where she meets Tarin Sailish, who has volunteered to work in a forest service lookout tower to get away from his last breakup. Together, can they find what they are looking for on earth if he can't get her spaceship fixed or in space if he does fix it? Where will they live?

Well. I started off kind of enjoying the premise of this book and then the language and writing got annoying. It didn’t really explain things all that well and then the second book in this duo was awful. Skipped a lot of time and felt like a filler that had no point. 1.5 ⭐️
