The Alpha's Cursed Mate

Rate this book
My enemy is my grumpy fated mate, and the only one who can break my curse.

Kieran is a billionaire Alpha, and wolves are known to hate trespassers, even more than they hate Fae. And I’m both.

Captured by the Alpha, his intense interrogation quickly becomes a steamy accusation that I’m the one bewitching him.

But when he pins me against the wall, I feel it too.

A force that begs for release.

As his captive, I glimpse the man behind the suit and the claws.

I never could’ve imagined this Alpha-hole dog throwing himself in harm's way for me.

Yet, his knowing eyes dare me to reveal my hidden identity and the burden I bear for my people.

I can’t ignore our deep, passionate bond, and the safety I feel in his strong arms.

I yearn for him to claim me as his own.

But, as the moon rises to its peak power, our elusive enemy strikes, forcing us into a battle not just for our love, but our very survival.

This book had a great story plot, very well written, and it made my OCD very happy I don't remember finding any typos anywhere. It's full of action, romance, and major conflicts between the fae and shifters. Lots of emotions hit you as well. This is a very quick read. But reads like a full length novel. It's an amazing book. If you like paranormal reads then you must give this one a try. I highly recommend it.

Well, if you’re in the mood for a whirlwind of claws, curses, and a chemistry so scorching it could melt the arctic, look no further. Sophia Young’s The Alpha’s Cursed Mate delivers an action-packed escapade that’s as intense as it is irresistibly steamy. This is more than the average shifter romance—it’s a turbo-charged, artifact-hunting, dark-enemy-slaying ride that will leave your jaw on the floor and your heart racing.
Let’s start with our leads: Kieran and Elara. These two are the epitome of "tension so thick you could cut it with a silver dagger." Their shared mission to save their people from doom by retrieving some darkly enchanted artifact is fraught with distrust, danger, and (of course) undeniable sexual tension. I mean, who can focus on life-or-death scenarios when sparks are flying so hard between two impossibly attractive enemies?
Young paints an intriguing world of rival Fae and Shifter clans teetering on the edge of destruction. The stakes are high, the suspense is unrelenting, and the enemies lurking in the shadows are genuinely menacing. The first-person POV from both protagonists adds depth and intimacy, letting us dive into their simmering emotions and complicated loyalties. It’s a perfect blend of mystery, danger, and heart-pounding romance.
But oh, that chemistry. Kieran and Elara can’t keep their hands—or their desires—off each other for long. Their connection is electric, their passion palpable, and the payoff when they finally give in? Chef’s kiss. Yet, it’s not all heat and no heart. Their relationship evolves into something meaningful, a love story that feels well-earned amidst the chaos.
Of course, the plot does occasionally lean into melodrama, but that’s part of the charm. If you’re here for brooding alpha males, strong heroines, and a romance that sizzles against a backdrop of danger and intrigue, The Alpha’s Cursed Mate hits all the right notes.
So, grab a glass of wine, find a cozy corner, and prepare to devour this book in one sitting. It’s the guilty pleasure we all need—and yes, you’ll be smiling (and possibly blushing) by the time you get to their happily-ever-after.

Let’s get comfortable don’t start if you plan on finishing in one setting so again get comfortable. Elara is desperate to find an artifact that will save her people. They are dying, that is the only thing that will save her people it will reverse the curse they are under and it leads her into shifter lands where she meets a shifter. Kieran sexy alpha determine to save his pack, to fix what his father did it starts with finding the artifact that will save his people the curse is killing them, and so determination is there but wasn’t there was meeting the one person that who throw him for a loop. Distrust between Fae and shifters has always been there but the magnetic pull between these can’t be ignored yet they both are after the same goal saving their people also their survival depends on it, but will they realize they are stronger together, will they figure out the curse learning more about their history, and will they acknowledge what’s growing between them?

OH WOW this was action packed story. It was a page turner and the suspense was incredible intense. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. Kieran and Karla were both willing to save their clan lives with magical artificial. But who was worthy enough to get from this danger but dark place. But the chemistry between them was sexual tension and the physical attraction was steamy hot and passionate on a new level in this moment. They couldn’t resist each other or fight the temptation anymore. Will they both be able to work together and save both their clans or will they be able to escape and survive the danger of the cursed and defeated the enemies that is lurking in the shadows.
I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. Trina Jones

It is not just the Fae that are cursed, the shifters are too. What are the odds they are both looking for the same jewel to break the curse?
Kieran is determined to save his Clan and right the mistakes his father made. Elara, too, is determined to save her people from the curse that is killing them. There is a mystery to be uncovered while dealing with an evil that won’t give up.
I absolutely loved this story: There is instant attraction between Kieran and Elara when they meet, but past wars have made then distrustful of each other. When an evil strikes they eventually realise that maybe they need to work together to stand a chance at winning.
I voluntarily received and reviewed an ARC copy of the book.

Faes and Shifters are considered mortal enemies, several centuries of animosity between them.
Elara is on a hunt for an artifact to help her people. As a Fae, she wants to find it to help her people and reverse the curse they’ve been under. Unfortunately, she ends up in Shifter territory.
Kieran, a Shifter Alpha, has been dealing with rival clans encroaching on his territory. This time though, it’s not another shifter, it’s someone else and she makes him feel weird things.
This is my first time reading this author and I enjoyed the book, my only thing is that the language is a bit more than I care for. The story is still absolutely wonderful regardless.
Well worth the read and share. You won’t be disappointed!!

Elara and Kieran . . .

The Fae and the wolf shifters are each dealing with a curse. Kieran is Alpha of the pack and determined to right his father’s wrongs. Elara is trying to save her Fae people who are dying. She needs to find an artifact to break the curse and unfortunately crosses into shifter territory. But there is a mystery and it will take the two of them to solve it and get what they will need for ending the curse. Despite the ancient animosity of their people, the two of them are actually fated mates and it will take both of them together to wield the artifact. Are they willing to work together to overcome their mutual enemy? Or is there too much keeping them apart?

One is cursed and the other needs help against rival clans determined to destroy them and together they are after the same artifact. Distrust is strong between the Fae and the Shifters but Elara and Kieran know that failure means destruction. With a dark enemy wanting the power from the artifact they will have to work together and accept what they are to each other if they stand any chance of survival and they may just discover the truth about their history. I loved this story and the characters. Strong, determined and believable, you can't help but be captivated by Elara and Kieran. I can't wait to read more by this author and I also hope that she gives us more from this world.

This is a great book. It is a slow burn romance, but it is well worth reading. These two are more than fated mates they are fated to save both races. They are searching for what one calls the tear, and the other calls the bloodstone. Turns out that they are the same thing and it will take both of them to use it. Very well written book and definitely a page turner.

I truly enjoyed this book. I enjoyed learning about these 2 families. Elara is a Fae and Kieran is a wolf. The story kept me captivated as they fought their bond to each other as well as the true villain. Lily's brightness made me smile whenever she was brought up. She reminded me of what pure innocence is. Would highly recommend this book.

A very exciting short story

I really enjoyed Elara’s and Kieran’s story. I didn’t expect it to turn into the story it did, but I’m so glad it did. I’m always happy when the bad guy gets it in the end, and when the story becomes spicy.

Enemies-to-lovers? Check. Fated mates? Check. Steamy, slow-burn tension that explodes at just the right time? Double check. This story had everything I crave in a shifter romance, with the perfect balance of danger, passion, and heart.

2.5⭐️ The story felt rushed and lacked character development & world building. Sadly it felt more like insta love than fated mates.
