Grace Beyond Salvation: Revealing God's Love from Genesis to Revelation

Everything is rooted and grounded in the grace of God.

From the first verse in the Bible to the very last, there’s a thread that holds humanity’s story together—that thread is grace. In Grace Beyond Salvation, pastor and teacher Dr. Kyle DiRoberts invites readers to understand and experience the biblical story of God’s extraordinary grace. This story is the key to understanding and fully living our own stories.

Kyle believes that we cannot navigate this life, striving to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, without understanding th design and purpose of God's grace. But what is grace? It’s likely so much more than you might think.

This book is for all who don’t fully understand the grace of God and the freedom it gives us. It’s for anyone living with shame and guilt, constantly reminded of past mistakes. It’s for those who believe in God but struggle with the evil in this world and how God’s grace fits into the picture.  It’s for hurting people—both believers and seekers—who’ve believed lies because they don’t understand God’s design for grace and its purpose in their lives.

The grand story of grace is full of drama, pain, and suffering, but also, hope, expectation, and pursuit. Grasping and absorbing His grace is the secret to living an intimate, confident relationship with God and others.

A remarkable book. Any book that helps me truly rejoice in the grace of the Lord is worthwhile. I think the unique writing style of this one helped me connect with the author’s message more than usual. I see more clearly now how God wraps us and our forever story in His grace—from beginning to end. There were a number of Scriptural insights I had heard nowhere else. This book was a true and deep blessing to me. My thanks to the author for writing it.

In Grace Beyond Salvation, Kyle DiRoberts reveals God’s love from Genesis to Revelation. This powerful book shows how grace is woven throughout the entire Bible.

While I’ve always understood that grace comes through the cross of Christ, DiRoberts demonstrates that grace runs through the whole story of salvation. From creation to consummation, the grace of God remains constant.

What interested me most was seeing grace from different angles. For instance, grace isn’t meant to simply fix problems; instead, it provides a way to dwell with God in the midst of them.

Abounding and Overflowing

The story of Jonah reveals that God’s grace endures even our desire to flee from His presence. The parable of the prodigal son shows that God’s grace withstands the sinfulness of His children, patiently waiting for and welcoming reconciliation.

DiRoberts is a gifted writer. This book is soaked in Scripture, yet it’s far from a dry Bible study. Marriage and parenting illustrations abound, and DiRoberts writes with warmth and charm.

The book concludes by showing how grace triumphs even over death. I’m challenged to reflect God’s heart toward those in need of grace. Christ receives us so that we may have a relationship with God. Grace abounds and overflows!

I received a media copy of Grace Beyond Salvation and this is my honest review. @diveindigdeep

We use the term “grace” sometimes so flippantly in the Christian faith. This book challenged me to think deeply about what God’s grace really means to me. I loved the way the author used sections of the book to uncover God’s grace in Creation, after the Fall, in Christ’s death/resurrection, and in the New Heaven and New Earth. The example of Jonah in the second section was convicting and eye-opening, revealing the way I may have leaned on human grace which is very different than God’s grace. Well done and well written in a conversational style that will be accessible to most readers.

3.5 stars - several quotable highlights but also some liberties taken in some conclusions
