Senior Year - that final push before you enter true "adulthood". Loren and her cousin slash best friend Kimberleigh thought they had their plains laid out before them for years. Their best friend Brady had as well. But when Brady's stepbrother, Nathan, arrives - all bets are off. Can the self-proclaimed "Three Musketeers" survive becoming a quartet?
This book was about Nathan. He moved to Kentucky after his father Andrei passed away. They didn’t really get along so he wasn’t too upset about it. He moved in with his mother who he hadn’t seen in a while. She was remarried and had a step son Brady. Nathan and Brady didn’t get along. When Nathan got to the house Brady was at the house with his 2 friends Loren and Kimberleigh. Loren and Kim were cousins. They thought it was Loren’s ex Carey but it wasn’t. Carey wasn’t getting the hint that they were over. He cheated on her multiple times and she was done. Nathan had a class with Loren and they got to know each other. They both ended up having feelings for each other but they kept it a secret from Brady because he wouldn’t have been happy about it because he liked Loren but she never felt that way about him. Loren and Nathan became very close. I loved Loren and Nathan and I can’t wait to see what happens since this ended on a cliffhanger.
This was such a great book. I loved the characters. For high school kids, there is a lot going on. I am so happy with how this book turned out. The story is something I can believe and see truly happening in real life. I loved the ups and downs that were going on with each of the main characters. The ending was so good, and I cannot wait to see what happens next for this group of kids.
First off the writing was so easy to read and it’s set in Kentucky which is a state away so win-win. The character were all distinct personalities which you don’t always get with side characters. This was the total high school experience shitty ex check, boy who is a friend who likes you but you don’t check. New guy to school that’s hot and international check check. Can’t wait to read the next book.
I loved this story. I read Saturday Nights Alright first so I got some introductions to these characters but I loved the backstory I got from this book. For a high school story this story was great in not making this kids immature. The ups and downs felt really authentic. Absolutely adore these kids.
Every Friday night definitely made me go back in time to when I was in high school. It had everything most high schoolers dealt with or experienced. The feelings this book brought out of me had me shocked and the writing flowed together so perfectly. I may read a lot of dark romance but this was definitely a breath of fresh air!
Every Friday Night was a great coming of age story. There were a lot of ups and downs for all of these characters. Even though they were in high school I didn't feel like they were immature. I really enjoyed this story and it gave me the information I needed to go into Saturday Night's Alright.
