This is the final book in the series and the author does not disappoint! She brings an emotional story as secrets are uncovered and the sisters find out more with their inheritance. She does a great job developing the story and brings more intrigue as she closes with a heartfelt ending. Loved and recommend this series.

3.5! What a crazy life. I felt so bad for Lily with Scott and her children and then everything going on in Tahoe. I couldn’t believe how Scott spoke to her anytime they had communication. He was such a jerk. And I’m so glad of what they found on the diary and also about Dak as well 🤭
This was the final book in the Lake Tahoe series and I feel letdown at the ending. The longer I think about it the madder I get! I don’t know what I thought would happen but Lily was the same old Lily. The victim to everything. Sure she kinda stood up for herself a couple of times but not really! Same crappy job, at a lower salary. Same crappy apartment, at a higher cost. Same, same, same. And Dak finally coming out and saying he loved her - well that just fixed everything didn’t it? Like her family wasn’t a complete f-up from start to finish with no real resolution of how they were going to be better to each other?? They end up having this huge Christmas together but ONLY because she has a lake house in Tahoe now. Otherwise - would any of them even want to spend Christmas with her?? They didn’t up until all their other plans fell through. And what about some apologies? Her DIL is atrocious as is her son, daughter, and ex-husband! I’d rather spend Christmas by myself than spend it with family like that!! The daughter made a half a**ed apology but only after her boyfriend left her for her father’s new wife - I mean, WHAT? So now because she “knows the pain” her mother went through after a 35 year marriage she says she shouldn’t have chosen sides? Oh - you mean, picked the parent that would spoil you and give you whatever you want? And the son and daughter in law holding the grandkids hostage to get stuff from Lily and then show up at the Lake House like nothing is wrong. And don’t get me started on the ex-husband. DONT GET ME STARTED.
Like I said - I got angrier the more I thought about how much these people pissed me off! All of them! Including Lily, Dak, both additional sisters. EVERYONE!
I’m annoyed I spent the time to read this three book series for it to end like this.

Lily becomes totally outraged when finding out that a nurse’s aide had given the wrong medication to Dakota putting him at risk of dying and she arrives at the hospital prepared to get restitution This took her thoughts completely away from all the problems she and her two sisters were facing, and there were lots of those. So many unanswered questions faced them all. And of course to top it off, it’s almost Christmas and everyone’s plans are up in the air. What an amazing story this is as all the characters interact and develop their varied relationships and figure out how their new family relationships will work or if they even can. How will each sister and her spouse and/or children react and interact with the others? It’s quite a treat to read how the Author answers these questions and the many others that arise as the story builds.

The Christmas Lake House, Book Three, is the finale to this excellent Lake Tahoe Series which provides more information about the three sister's inheritance and their deceased father's will. Secrets are revealed about the characters. Lily and Dak's relationship is tested due to his health situation and the return of his ex-fiancee, Paige. Lily finds she must decide what pathway her life will take in her future. This final book in the series is emotional and has a heartwarming ending focusing on the importance of family.

The third book that I forced myself to buy and read to finish the series. Nope. I don’t recommend this at all. The main character is weak, and surrounded by mean and selfish people. This was not a book about the spirit of holidays and family. Instead it had too much of a manipulative ex and ungrateful children. Even others who knew Lily, such as her landlord and former boss, all seemed to take advantage and even though the author tried to tie it all up nicely at the end, it wasn’t believable. If it was to be believed then it was kind of sad and discouraging. I did not enjoy this third book or the series as a whole.
Three novellas about the adult children of a bigamist. Camelia is an only child, though she admits to wanting a sister. Violet ane Lily have the same mother, though the mothers of these women have all passed away. There are some oddball provisions in the will. The three sisters struggle with various feelings as the news of their beloved father's bigamy comes to light. Toss in spoiled adult children, new acquaintcces, a rodeo accident, a scared & defensive dog, a gossip is well portrayed (to the extent I wanted to tape her mouth shut & she's not even real), Christmas, breakups, ruined holiday plans, and a slick lawyer or 2 and you have a recipe for chaos and/or cheer.
A terrific conclusion to this series. We see Lily go through some huge ups and downs and when she finally feels forgotten about and alone it all comes together for her and her family. Lily has found a sense of happiness with Dak and although his ex makes an unwelcome appearance it is clear Dak only has eyes for Lily. All is finally resolved with the lake house and the sisters finally rid themselves of Matt and move on with their lives as one big happy family.

This is the final part of the story; you get to see the sisters when they are pushed to much. Lily is outraged when she finds out that Dakota is not safe at the hospital when a nurse’s aid gives him the wrong medication. She takes him home to take care of him. There is so many questions that need to be answer and the attorney who keep fulling their chain. But what do you do when everyone’s plans for Christmas up in the air. These characters are very well written, so enjoy.

This is book three of the Lake Tahoe series. This series features sisters and their heartwarming stories of falling in love. This is a sweet Christmas story filled with family, secrets, and second chances. Great characters that you fall in love with. The author does a great job developing the realistic and relatable characters. This story is well written and will draw you into the characters emotions. You feel all their angst and love. This review is based on an early review copy I was sent by the publisher, but this didn't affect the content of my review that I am voluntarily providing.
I really enjoyed this series. One book led right into the next. I enjoyed Lily and Dakota's relationship, just goes to show you are never too old for love. Lily and her sisters finally came together and took back what was theirs. This book gives a story that makes you feel wistful, angry, tearful, happy and fulfilled when you finish it. I highly recommend this book and the series to all women's fiction readers.

As Lily, Violet and Camellia continue to figure out being sisters and all the baggage they each carry, they also continue to figure out their inheritance. Lily continues to help Dak recover and realizes she has grown to really care for him. Then his ex shows up and Lily's world is again in a tailspin. Add to Lily's tailspin are her two kids drama and her ex showing up. What will Lily do? Will she finally stand up for herself? Will she go to Tahoe for Christmas? Will she get the large family Christmas she always dreamed of?
Must read in order. All of the loose threads from the previous books were tied up with answers. A copy of the will was found. What was the lawyer hiding from them? Who ends up with the house? Where will everyone go for Christmas? Will she get a HEA? Only thing I personally would have loved to have been different/added was her responses to the "offers" from her ex husband, boss, and landlord.

Lily has finally grown into the confident woman who was always hiding inside. Dakato has opened his mind and his heart to Lily and his brother. This, last book in this series doesn’t disappoint. All of the storylines had feel good or plausible closure. I bow to Sage Parker, the master of series I am ready for her next books😉!.

The Christmas Lake House Book 3 of the Lake Tahoe was the perfect way to end the series. Violet, Camellia, and Lily were able to get answers to every question they had in their lives. The characters fit together to help make me feel like I have known them forever. I highly recommend this series to all readers that enjoy a well written story.

Lily thinks that Dak is interested in his former fiancé and runs back to San Francisco. Her boss wants her to come back but she has to work on Christmas and take a pay cut. Her apartment is finally ready, but none of the promised repairs were made and the rent has doubled. Scott asks her to come back to him but has some insulting conditions. It's time for Lily to stand up for herself. I received an advanced reader copy of this book from Booksprout, and this is my honest opinion.
It's the holiday season and God makes sure that everything that has been going wrong in Lily's life is now on the mend. She has a new beau, she has two new sisters and nieces, her family has finally come together and is making plans for the future. I love the fact that it is the holidays and everyone ends up together and happy.

I really enjoy reading Sage Parker’s work. She is a gifted writer and her books keep my interest. She has the ability to unfold the development of the characters and plots in a unique and interesting manner; so much so that I can visualize and feel what’s going on within the story and the emotions of the people involved. Thanks! To such a great author providing fulfilling reading material!
A heartwarming story of found family, love, hope, and the healing power of the holiday season. This was a beautifully written story with the wonderful Lake Tahoe setting and interesting, believable characters. I love that Lily found her strength but still remained caring. This was a great series with so many things happening it really holds your attention. It had depth that kept the pages turning. I really enjoyed this series and highly recommend it.
Thank God that series is over. Ms.Parker has the tendency to write her main characters as wimpy, whiny martyrs. If this third book hadn't ended the series I couldn't have read another book. I just wanted to slap Lily ups u decide her head and tell her to grow up. She was nothing but a doormat the whole book. Actually except for Ray and Lawrence none of the characters were likable.
This is a fantastic book in a great series that I highly recommend. Sage Parker is one of my favourite writers and this story is another example of her skill at weaving an intriguing story that totally captures my interest. I highly recommend this book and series.

Oh how I absolutely love happy endings. This book had its share of ups and downs and I felt so terrible for Lily. I can honestly relate to her in so many ways and I was so happy to see the ending she got and the closure all the sisters got also. Sage Parker does it again with an amazing series!.

The Christmas Lake House (Book 3) is book #3 in the Lake Tahoe series by Sage Parker.
This was an emotional and heart-warming wrap up of this series. The sisters learn more information about their inheritance and are navigating their new relationships. As usual, the author delivered a wonderful story.

The Christmas Lake House Book 3 is the heartwarming and thrilling end to the Lake Tahoe series. It's a sweet romance with mystery. Lily and her sisters come together as a family. More answers are received, and Lily and Dakota get a happy ending. This was a great conclusion to the series.

Reading book 1, 2, and 3 was so worth it. I would love to read more on if Lily or how Lily put her foot down. It was really frustrating over time how much everyone continued to be selfish and walk all over her. I hope she in the future she will find how she can rebuild herself ~even at the age she was ~
I would have enjoyed this more if it had been condensed into one book. A problem was presented in book 1, and solved in #3. I loved reading a variety of Christmas books this year, but not one that is 3 books long. The Holidays are a busy time and my reading must fit into the time available!!!
I enjoyed all of the characters you become acquainted with in this book and it was a fascinating story of redemption and family values . I will take away a lot of good advice on how to deal with whatever life has to offer including how to handle pain, heartbreak, loss, and difficulties and come out winning in the end.
