To start - this book ends in a cliffhanger! So just be prepared that you will need to read the books in order to understand everything that is going on.

Imagine finding out that your dad hid a second family from you! Not only that, but you have another sibling and it was quite the comfortable life they had compared to your upbringing!

Book 1 brings each sisters emotions all the way to the surface and they are being forced the face the fact that their father was not what any of them thought him to be. Understandably they are all angry, scared, and upset and this book does a great job detailing how each woman is dealing with the betrayal in her own way. Based on the will, these three women will have to come together to save the house in Lake Tahoe and make sure the sleepy lawyer doesn’t get his hands on it. Throw on how 2 of the 3 have kids that don’t want to spend Christmas with them and the third has a husband that has a heart attack - it’s enough to make anyone’s head spin.

Violet is a strong personality and lets her feelings be known
Camilla is an even stronger personality and is very, very angry all the time
Dakota is the strong, silent cowboy that’s always in charge and very closed off emotionally

Two sisters, Violet and Lily have lost their parents and are in the process of moving forward in San Francisco when their Father’s estate attorney contacts them wanting them to come to Lake Tahoe to see a house their Father owned. They knew absolutely nothing about this property and couldn’t believe it as they had led a hard early life with their Mom working very hard to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table while Dad was traveling with his work, whatever that was! Lily had trouble concentrating on this as she had just been nearly attacked while trying to prevent a young girl from being harmed. Thankfully a stranger happened to come by just in time to protect them both from the attacker. After discussing this Lily and Violet head to Lake Tahoe, meet with the attorney, whom they do not like or trust, and go to check out their inheritance Upon their arrival in Tahoe, the true story begins to unfold. Get ready for drama, emotional upheaval, intrigue, mystery, excitement, danger, and even a bit of romance thrown into the mix. A book that is enjoyable from the beginning to the end. Finding out you have another sibling.

Lily and her sister Violet have been notified that they have inherited a house at Lake Tahoe but are confused why they just now being notified. Their father has been dead for over a year. This attorney is it giving them any extra information and says will explain when they get there. It is a bit of a blessing for Lily, since she has lost her job, her apartment building is being updated and needs to leave, now neither of her kids are coming for Christmas. So the sisters arrive in Lake Tahoe only to find out their father had a second family, and they have a sister. Now Lily is staying at the Lake house and helping her new sister, Camellia, organize a charity rodeo. As Lily helps out she gets to know her sister better and Camillia's husband best friend, Dakota. The day of the charity rodeo doesn't go as planned by any measure. Lily finds out that Camillia's husband plans to ride a bull and she agrees not to tell. Then the ride goes wrong and Lily reacts to save Ray and while others try to save Ray the bull changes targets and goes after Dakota. What will the outcome be?

The Christmas Lake House Book 1 is a sweet, Christmas themed, romantic suspense focused around Lily McCann, who has hit a rough patch. She is divorced and pretty much jobless and homeless. She is excited to find she has inherited a beautiful lake house from her father but has two other sisters, and they all need to live together.

This is a pretty wild ride. The sisters are all so different. I'm not sure how I feel about them yet. And poor Lily seemed to have it much rougher than Violet or Camilla, but I haven't really connected with any of them yet. I do like Dakota. We end on a cliffhanger. I look forward to book 2!.

Lily is going through a really rough time in her life. Her adult children have made other plans for Christmas, some including her ex husband and his new wife; she loses her job and she has to move out of her apartment for a few months for renovations. With all of this going on she gets a call from her sister with news that their deceased father has left them a house in Lake Tahoe. They never knew this house existed, so they decide to take a trip to see what it's all about. Decades worth of secrets begin begin to come out.
This is the first book in the series, and I see it having potential for being a very sweet, romantic and slightly heartbreaking story. It says Christmas Lake House, but it's not really "Christmas-y", so it's good for a light, cozy read in the winter.

The Christmas Lake House, Book One, introduces the main characters in this series including three sisters who were raised under different circumstances with Lily and Violet in one family, and Camellia in another. They meet when notified by a shifty attorney of a house inheritance in Lake Tahoe. The will also includes several unusual demands upon the sisters if they are to inherit the expensive home. Their relationship is a complicated one but they agree to work on a charity rodeo together in order to become familiar with each other. The book ends in a cliffhanger.

An amazing book to start of a brand new series by Sage Parker. I can already tell that there are going to be a lot of suspenseful moments and mysteries will be revealed in this story that sees Lily, Violet and Camellia trying to figure out the truth about their father who appears to have been living two lives with two separate families. As always Sage Parker has a way of drawing you in to the story and by the end of the book we were left wanting much, much more, especially after the cliffhanger at the end. So good and am so excited to get my hands on the next instalment.

Wow three sisters one they did not know about but do now. A Dad with two families, a house she did not know about and a life that seems to be going nowhere puts Lily McCann in the place where everything around her is new. Lily, doesn't like change and is really kind of an introvert but she is going to have to come to grips with all the new things in her life in order to put her life back together.
Now she has met a man that she sometimes finds to much to handle but after an accident she is rethinking their relationship. Another great read from Sage and one I am going to really enjoy.

The Christmas Lake House is the first book in the Lake Tahoe series by Sage Parker.
Lily, Violet and Camellia are three sisters who have been sent to Lake Tahoe when they find out the first secret left by their father and must follow directions left in his will in order to keep the house he left them.
This is an excellent start to a new series that left me glued to the story. I am excited about the next book to find out where the story takes us. The cliffhanger in this one left me breathless.

Great start to a new series! The author brings a strong cast of characters and sets the scenes with three sisters and a family secret and kept me turning the pages with the drama, intrigue and danger. She brings a ton of emotions and takes them on an emotional roller coaster ride. I was glued to the pages and left with wanting more with the cliffhanger ending. I'm looking forward to the next book.

The Christmas Lake House (Book 1) is book #1 in the Lake Tahoe series by Sage Parker.

Lily is having a rough time with her children not planning to spend the holidays with her when her sister tells her about a surprise inheritance from their father. That is just the first surprise. There is plenty family drama as the sisters learn about the family secrets. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next installment.

Where to start????
Lily is divorced and living in a dump on the wrong side of town, while her Ex and his twenty something new gal are in a luxury condo.
Then she gets a call from her sister, she is picking her up in the morning, they have been left a house in Tahoe, with some strings attached .
She has vacation time and leaves a message, but gets a call the next morning that she has been let go.
And THAT's JUST the BEGINNING.
Sage are you sure this is a Christmas story?.

This is the first book in the Lake Tahoe series by Sage Parker. Right from the start this book gets your attention and keeps it until the end. Learning about a second family that her father had added a complication to an already stressful life for Lily. Add in a gruff older cowboy and nothing makes sense. There is a lot of anger, angst, pain and heartache along with the danger of the rodeo. I highly recommend this book to all romance readers.

Superb story!

A superb start to what will clearly be another fantastic series by Sage Parker. This is an intriguing story with an emotional rollercoaster for three sisters who unexpectedly meet in Lake Tahoe. As disturbing details come to light, questions abound. I highly recommend this book and author!

Then her sister Violet calls with news that they have inherited a house at the Lake. Surprises keep coming when the sisters find out they have another sister Camilla. I loved the book cover, amazing characters and this story is going to keep me on the edge of my seat. It's already been too long waiting for book 2!.

There is no resolution! The book ends like a season finale of a tv show. You have to read book 2 for the story to continue. Why not just make it one longer book? Now I have to purchase the other two if I want to know what happens. Honestly though, it wasn’t good enough for me to get the next book. It was very elementary in the writing style.
Again, if the story isn’t going to be resolved at all by the end of the book, it should say that somewhere in the description!

This was a awesome story!

I loved this story but as so many people who don't know rodeo and bull riding there was some huge mistakes made. The bull fighters are on foot, not horse back, and they don't have whips or anything else as they use their body to draw the bull away from the rider. The guys on horseback are there to rope the bull if needed, they would never ride in that close to the cowboy. Other than that this was a awesome story!

WOW!! The first sentence of this book definitely sets the stage for hurt, trama, disappointment, and resolve to get into your bones. Lily’s life has taken some dramatic hits that have my insides twisting in knots. This book had soooo many instances of, “What the….!” I couldn’t stop reading until the bone chilling cliffhanger.
