I want to preface this review by mentioning that this book is not romance but erotic fiction, so if you are looking for Maureen's normal romance genre books this book is not for you.
First definitely read Exposed before this book so that you'll know the history of these characters and what brought them to this point in their lives.
There were a few unexpected things that happened in this book. Tamia for one totally changed, it seemed as though she really realized the error of her ways, and put forth a conscious effort to right her wrongs. Brandon, we really saw a different side of him. Yes he was the suit and tie type, but we really got a glimpse of his ruthless side, and everyone loves a bad boy. The sex scenes in this book were off the chart, they certainly lived up to the erotic title. They will have you squirming in your seat, so read this in the privacy of your own home. Not only were Brandon and Tamia on fire but everyone else in the book was too. Naomi really took it up a notch in these scenes. The supporting cast of characters also added tremendously to this book.
I could definitely see a future read with Brandon's brother Beau and even Dre, it would be interesting to see where his relationship goes. I couldn't help but root for Tamia. Yes she pissed everyone off in the first book, but before she started to act foolish we were all rooting for her, so I definitely wanted to see her and Brandon back together in this book. Nobody likes a cliff hanger, and I surely don't, but if you want to read good material it is worth the wait. I certainly didn't expect the book to end how it did, and we are surely left hanging. I'll be patiently awaiting the release of the next book to see what will happen in this ongoing drama.

All I can say is WOW this was simply WONDERFUL!!!! GREAT !!!!! Can't wait for the next one.....DEFINITELY not your typical romance read so if that's what you're looking for this is NOT the book for you but if you enjoy erotic fiction and all things SCANDALOUS then make SURE to pick up your copy.......

Im absolutely disappointed in a good way I did not want this book to end Naomi was so wrong on ever level for ending that book like that I hurt :-( BUT BRAVO IT WAS SCANDALOUS, DRAMA FILLED, HURT, LOVE, HATE, MURDER IT HAD IT ALL.. WHERES PT 3 IM READY.

After reading Exposed (which by the way I liked even though I was very irritated with Tamia & the lies) so I didn't know if I was going to be able to handle a repeat. I can honestly say that I enjoyed Deception, the rekindling love for Tamia and Brandon was awesome and no matter what Tamia has done in her past I want her to have a happy ending she deserves it.
It is time for Brandon to grow some balls and stand up to his parents...UGH I HATEEEEE Daddy & Mama Chambers & Bishop somebody need to let them know that they shit stank like everybody else.
Is Cynthia really pregnant???? maybe so but whose to say that the baby is Brandons, did she not constantly say that she has option....ughhhh WITCH I hate her too.
I have to say out of all the triffling stuff Fiona did it was very entertaining to read her story LOL CRAZYYYY and I was glad that she broke Dre down!!!!
Dominic is like BUBBER GUM on the bottom of your shoe; just won't go away, could he really love Tamia and just don't know how to express his feelings. I'm thinking maybe Tamia should run away to another country with Lou he loves her & because it seem like too much of a headache to deal with Brandon or Dominic!

Deception was not quite the page-turner that Exposed was, but it was still a good read. While reading, I felt as if I was supposed to dislike Cynthia, but I couldn’t. In the first book, Exposed, she was poised, smart, and knew how to hang with the boys at the cigar bar. I liked her way more than I did Tamia and wanted her and Brandon to work out. In this book, she was portrayed as being needy and even a little conniving, but I really feel like she was being wronged by Brandon. He disrespected her and didn’t give a crap about her feelings when he made all his moves to take care of Tamia and keep her near. I mean really, who in their right mind would hire their ex-girlfriend to be their legal assistant in the same law firm where he works with his current girlfriend?!
And after reading about how much Tamia enjoyed betraying Brandon with Dominic , I couldn’t root for her and Brandon to be together.
-Lots of hot, raunchy sex like the first book
-Twists and turns; the end really surprised me; Fiona’s a nutjob
-No warm fuzzies
The cliffhanger is more of an emotional cliffhanger this time, where Brandon has to choose between Cynthia and Tamia. On to the next book…

I get annoyed with cliffhanger endings but I'm trying to hold on to this series becaue I really like Naomi Chase's writing style and the plot is interesting. Deception was better than Exposed to me, but again, these books are filled with a lot of extra fluff that I think could be removed and this story only needed one book to tell it's full story. That's just my opinion though, going to wait for the next one. My last rant against the book is that at the end, I expected an excerpt from the next book and it was an excerpt from Exposed. What kind of mess is that?!? I hope she is at least working on the next one so we don't have to wait too long.

Damn. How am I just learning of this series? This series is everything! Ok. After Exposed, I absolutely hated Tamia but after Deception, I'm rooting for her. She still makes dumb decisions but her sister is an evil, crazy bitch that set her up to take the fall for murder! I also didn't have a problem with Cynthia but now I'm giving her the side eye. I do think Brandon did her wrong in this book. He hired Tamia as his legal secretary without consulting or even telling her! It couldn't be me! Then he berated her st the office for acting like a mean girl to Tamia. Um, excuse me. This bitch is a threat to our relationship. She is not shy about wanting Brandon back. I'll be damned. I couldn't believe he was such an ass to her. My favorite part of the book was Dre and Fiona hate fucking each other. Both times. Her puss must've been like crack bc he screwed her on the front door WHILE HIS GF WAS AWAKE UPSTAIRS!

This book really had me in my feelings. I reminded me of my first love and my first heartbreak. I saw so much of Tamia in me. Cynthia too and Fiona. All three main female character spoke to me in different levels that I never really knew I was capable of feeling before while reading at book. Throughout the whole novel I can't tell myself Tamia just let go but then there would be scenes where she'll be with Brandon and my heart just swoon and I was shipping them all over again. Fiona has soe serious problems ad I hope she gets the help she needs. And Cynthia is just a sad case of a women loving a man who doesn't really love her on the same level. Can't wait to read the last installment and get the answers I've been itching to find.

This book was just as good as the first. How can you not root for Brandon Chambers and Tamia Luke to be together after all they've been through, and the love and passion that's inescapable to see? But of course, there's the ever present, burgoise, conniving witch of Cynthia Yarbrough who's determined to keep her man by any means necessary. Unexpected twists and Secrets are revealed in this book, but with the cliffhanger of the ending it's evident a third book is in the making. Let's just hope it's not going to take a year!

Wow this storyline just keeps getting better and better! I knew Fiona was a nutcase! I really think Tamia should've walked away and let Brandon get himself together. Cynthia is another nutcase and Gwen Chambers, she's really a piece of work! It will be interesting to see how this story turns out! The Bishop is a mess, Dre and Leah, Beau, all of them need closure. The mighty need to be knocked down from their thrones and it's time Tamia finds happiness. I must find out what happens next! Great series!

This book was soooooo good. I listened to the audio book. I often found myself sitting in my car trying to finish the cd, no matter what chapter I was on. Tamia, Brandon, Cynthia, Fiona, and Dre are some characters from this story that I will never forget. This book of love, deception, betrayal and sacrifice was the bomb.Not to mention the sex scenes were fire. I am so ready to read book three. One of the best series, if not the best that I've read.

This book was great! It was even better than Exposed. I never really liked Cynthia anyway. I was glad when Brandon dumped her. He should be with Tamia because she is his true love. I literally can not get enough of this series. I just finished it and I could literally read it again right now And still enjoy it. It really is an amazing storyline. Its definitely a page turner. You will not want to put it down!

I cant with all of the mess that went on in this book. I cant believe all of the twist and turns that happened. I figured out some of the things but I also was surprised at some of the things that came out. I hate when they think a man should marry a women because hes having a baby with her, its archaic at best. Now its time for book 3 and I'm gonna be pissed by the mess I have to listen to and decisions Tamia will make.

It got a little bit like a Scooby Doo episode in the last few chapters AND it ends yet again on a giant CLIFF! But Never Fear! Book Three is already out!
So much action and crazy in this book, I'm not telling you anything. Just that it's another Great Book, so if you read the first one and enjoyed it, you HAVE to read this one.

The here is book 2 of Naomi Chase's exposed series and I must she delivered once again! Picking up where book 1 ended this story takes the reader on ride they just don't wanna get off. This sequel reinforced why I love Chase's writing style. I can wait to get my hands on book 3 to see where the #Tamdon story ends or not.

Tamia & Brandon are good together and I wish they could make things work. Something about Cynthia really bothers me. I like how Brandon doesn't do what his family expects of him but what he wants. Good read. Can not wait to read Part 3

Fiona is crazy!! I found myself disappointed in Tamia for protecting her the way she did, though it was understandable. I loveeee Brandon!! I want Cynthia to go awayyyyyy!! And Tamia and her secrets are going to be the death of her smh. Great read definitely.

I will also say that make sure that your calendar is free, so that you may enjoy this book as it is meant to be enjoyed.

It seems like everyone in this series has shown some level of deception. If you’re familiar with the “Prada Plan” series Fiona is eerily similar to Leah. That should be enough to understand my level of hatred for her. Brandon definitely himself in a pickle by jumping from Tamia to Cynthia. It was clear he wasn’t over her in Exposed. Dre shocked me, I wanted him to resist and certainly not let her be his weakness. I can’t wait to see what happens with both the Chambers and the Yarabroughs ( i can’t remember their last name) these parents are the founders of helicopter parents and their children are grown... I honestly don’t know what else can happen
