Fated Bonds are hand picked by the moon goddess. There should never be any question about who your heart is fated to…
Nessah feels slighted by fate. Fate shouldn’t be so cruel as to bond her to a pure blood Alpha who deserves a legacy she is incapable of delivering. The only thing she can do is run.
Zion believes in fate until fate sends him into the wild chasing a ghost. If she is his fated, then why doesn’t he feel the pain of her rejection?
Did the moon goddess get it all wrong or is someone is keeping secrets….

K.C. Mills said “Welcome to Hollow Grove where things go bump in the night.” Well shiiiiiii after reading about this third Bennett brother any one of the three can bump me all night 🤭🌖🐺
I have been looking forward to Zion’s story since Hexed wolf and I honestly didn’t think KC was going to give us one. So when she did I was in countdown mode until release day!
When we last heard from Zion, he was running like a crazed animal after Keerah because he believed she was his fated mate. Well plot twist and thank Gawd for it, she wasn’t!! He was picking up the scent of his real mate the entire time and we love Nessah waaaayyyy more! She was confident and stubborn and doing what she thought was necessary to protect not only her self but Zion as well after being cast out from her previous pack.
Zion was not trying to hear any of what she was saying and knew that he loved her regardless! These two were a fun time and I’m so glad we got their story! Now that their story is complete I can’t rest peacefully at night 😂😂 I am really loving all things wolves and hope KC explores more with this crew and those that are an extension of them!
For the last three months, Zion has been searcin’ high and low for Keerah’s azz because he was convinced she was his fated mate and you couldn’t tell him otherwise. When he finally catches up to her, he’s disappointed and pissed off to learn that not only is she not his fated mated but, that his brothers were right all along. Feelin’ just a little bit defeated, Zion heads back to the Bennett Compound. After her Sula refuses to bless her union with the Alpha because of what she saw in her vision, Nessah is cast out of her pack and betrayed by her parents. She quickly finds a new home with her cousin on the Bennett Compound but, she’s on borrowed time. You see, Nessah is keepin’ secrets. She’s known all along that she was Zion’s true fated mate but, she still let him run off lookin’ for Keerah. Afraid of what might happen to her once the truth is revealed, Nessah packs up to leave. But, she doesn’t get very far. To say I was stoked when I learned K.C. was finally giving us Zion’s story is an understatement. It lived up to the hype and was well worth the wait. I was equally ecstatic that Keerah was not Zion’s fated mate because, we were not feelin’ Ms. Pick Me Pass Around. I’m also looking forward to the spin-off story that’s brewin’ with Neyla and Karr. I can already smell the drama they’re bringin’. A good time is always had when we pull up to Hollow Grove and get to hang out on the Bennett Compound. Until next time. 🐺🌑
We pick back up right where we left off in book 2 and Zion Bennet quickly learns a hard truth! A truth that left me baffled a bit! As the reader, we are turned around immediately and led in a different direction that I'm not mad at. I don't want to spoil, but the twist was a good pivot. I was excited to all the brothers together and hashing out their issues. The heroine in this story was unique and I loved the fight she had in her against everyone. Her story opened up this series to more and I am excited for that.
This was fun, light, animalistic, and such fun read fun from KC Mills! Looking forward to more stories in this series. Also loved visiting Diamond Falls in this book!
With the way the last book ended I thought I knew how this one was going to go. I just knew that Zion was going to go off looking for Keerah, bring her back, and shenanigans would ensue before finally giving in. Yeah, no...that's definitely not what happened. Totally threw a little curve ball in how I thought the story was going to unfold.
I knew that it had to be something big for Nessah to try to avoid Zion as much as she did. I think I read too many books and watch too much tv because I did take notice in the wording of what she was told by the elder. My immediate thought was "yeah, she didn't exactly say what you think she said." Even with guessing that part of the plot I was still very much entertained reading this story. I was a bit disappointed that Rolf seemed like a throwaway character. His position seemed like he should have had a bigger role but he was essentially just a seat filler for that particular plot line. It seems like Keerah could have been attached to anyone in the pack and probably have gotten the same outcome without it necessarily being the alpha.
How will Neyla and Karr navigate the tough situation they are in? I am curious to see how the next installment of the story plays out.
The Bennett Alpha Brothers are back. This time, Zion and Nessah got their chance at fate after he returned home after months away, chasing Keerah, his brother's ex, who he believed was his fated mate. Only to find fate was home all along..
The way the last book ended I was so upset 😭 i didn’t want Zion to chase nobody 🫠 However after reading book 3 I feel like that journey was necessary but it prepared him for true love 🥰
Loved it! Zion finally found his true mate after searching for three months. I enjoyed the storyline and the main characters and can’t wait for Neyla story.
I have extremely mixed feelings about this book. It was very easy to read and I read it in one go. But at the same time I had a ton of issues with it.
Chapter 1 was terrible. It reminded of that time I read an article about how Brigham Young’s (super conservative religious university) administration had to tell its male students that just because they “had a revelation from god” about a woman, it was not ordained nor did the woman receive the same news. And she was free to accept or reject the courting. Forced kissing is grosssssss and not a good look for anyone. It’s reeks of entitlement. Zion bro, you’re not entitled to shit.
The way they spoke about the fake fated mate Keerah was also super ick inducing.
While I’m complaining, I also hated how the psychic link was portrayed. It was absolutely juvenile. I legitimately could not believe that the author chose to add “- me” to signify Zion was the one responding. She could have simply used the concept of the object of direct address to differentiate. Readers aren’t dumb. It happened again and again Example from chapter 3 “Get of out my house - Me No - Xander And while you’re at it, get the eff out of my head - Me” FFS
Throwing a glass at the floor would get people in the AITA and Am I Overreacting subreddits to immediately tell the woman (or men) to leave their significant other for fear of their own safety.
Also, no foreplay? That’s the first sex scene? Seriously?!? Every muscle in my body cringed. Especially since we knew nothing about Nessah’s sexual background (and neither did Zion) so it could have very well been her first time.
The bar was so low at this point that I actually celebrated the fact Zion waited for Nessah’s acceptance in order to mark her. Like wtf @ myself, that should have been the bare minimum.
Massive plot hole:
I feel like in the year of our lord 2024 we should avoid any romanticism of “pure blood” anything.
The ILU scene was an absolute joke. But so is the buildup (there was none) and depth of their relationship (aka superficial with no real conversations or learning about each other’s backgrounds, likes, interests, fears, etc)
I hateddddd reading the word “muthaf*cker.” Why did you have the change the spelling? So cringey, man.
And the damn continuity error!
All of the things mentioned above would normally result in a 2 star rating, but I was quite engaged. So I’m going to give this author another chance and see how I feel about her afterwards.
This was a good escape for me today. I love most of KC mills stories so this one didn’t shock me either. I love when she get into her paranormal bag the stories are good and still remain BLACK.
Now the biggest thing that took this from a 5 to a 4 was the storyline. Like I get Nessah’s fear but girl please BFFR you ready to be locked in a basement instead of just telling the truth over some kids??? Lmao FTK I mean pups whatever the hell they gonna be. Like you and Zion ain’t even lock eyes yet, but you ready to live life miserably because you believe you can’t have kids EVEN THOUGH THATS NOT WHAT THE LADY SAID. Like soon as I saw what was said my brain was like girl the seer said you wouldn’t give HIM kids not you couldn’t have kids. I get it tensions high you wanna make your family proud so you turned your ears of but GET A GRIP.
I also felt like the Brothers and the spouses weren’t as supportive of Zion as the should be. Like if they all alphas and equals why would y'all be hounding that man?? Wouldn’t that irritate his wolf and upset yall lil Alpha brother code. Like I get it yall concerned for him but DANG let him live a little. Cus I recall the previous books and Xander nor the other one was making the best moves.
Overall I’m excited to continue on the journey with Karr and Neyla but I’m hoping they hurdle is a little more substantial, while I don’t want it to drag I do want it to come to a decent climax before it’s resolved. This “drama between Zion and Nessah was a little just a teensy bit underwhelming.
I had been eagerly waiting to see how Zions story would pan out. I was low-key confused about his connection to Keerah and I was pleasantly surprised at the change of events.
I love how these stories tip toe the super natural, but address under lying concerns that regular humans face. Mating is something serious, and there always seems to be one trying to fight the connection. It was great to see the family both progressing and growing.
Zion was headstrong, stubborn if you will but I loved how he was riding for his mate regardless of the situation. While she was hesitant because of his stature, his only concern was her❤️. I was happy he was finally able to secure his mate.
Lastly, I love the silent communication between the brothers and especially their mates. It may be odd to some, but to me it adds to the originality of the story.
Zion believes he’s found his fated mate in Keerah, but after months of searching for her, he discovers she’s not the one. Confused, Zion returns home. His true mate, Nessah, has been with his pack the entire time he's been gone.
Shunned by her old pack because of a prophecy that she wouldn't bear any children for the pack's alpha, Nessah has kept her secret from Zion, allowing him to chase the wrong woman for months.
When Zion finds Nessah imprisoned by his brothers, the pull between them is undeniable. Despite his overwhelming desire to mark her, Zion respects her refusal to be with him. Nessah believes she’s barren and unable to bear him an heir. Zion’s love remains unwavering, even as she resists their bond.
Will Nessah accept her true bond with Zion? Or will her fears about the prophecy their future together? Read True Wolf to find out!
When book 2 ended, Zion was officially on a journey to find his mate and I was already screaming, “YES, go get your girl!!” But when he does find her? The reception is not what he expected. At all.
He’s confused. Shook. Hurt. How could the Moon Goddess lead him to his mate, have him feel that soul-snatching connection the moment he caught her scent on a mattress, only for her energy to switch all the way up when they meet?
Nessah is spiraling. She’s a whole nervous wreck because she knows Zion is on his way, and she’s carrying a secret that could get her kicked clean out of the Bennent Pack. So, naturally, she plans to run. What else can she do? How can she stand in the presence of this powerful, loving family knowing she’s done something she believes is unforgivable?
But before she can make a move, Laz (you already know our alpha king 👑) hears her thoughts and instantly vows to protect his brother from whatever storm Nessah might be dragging behind her.
And let me tell you… when Zion finally looked that woman in the face and said “MINE,” whewwww. 😮💨💥 I felt it in my chest, okay?! That moment alone? Worth the entire read.
So yes, once again, I’m saying it: I need to find me a wolf. Immediately. 😭🧡
Yesssssss KC has done it again! I have been waiting for this one and let me tell you, ya girl did not disappoint….
Nessah believing she is no good for Zion tries to leave the pack before he returns home. She’s afraid that they could never be. Zion after learning that she is indeed his mate wasn’t going for none of that. I loved how he still wanted her regardless of what their future held. A trip back to her old pack leads her to the truth and the rest is history, HEA 🫶🏾
I loved that Phalen and Lobo made a quick cameo ❤️
I love how Nessah and Zion’s story opened up room for this series to grow and I cannot wait to read Neyla’s story and see who her mate is 😍
Zion is angry and I'm not sure his stomping around the woods because he's looking for his mate that btw he didn't want before he scented her was a good look. Sir you're an alpha have some decorum. 🤭 Don't worry he gets his HEA but now he has the pack council cleaning up his mess.
If you don't like the miracle baby trope I think KC Mills gets really close to the edge of it. Just go with it bc from the start anything you might have thought was going to happen she does something else.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|🌶️🌶️🌶️ This story was quick but very well written! The story consisted of a runaway mate (well almost) and a pure alpha that wanted the FMC regardless of her ability to have children. The next book will be with Neyla (Nessah) sister and Karr, but Karr has a girlfriend 😩👀.
Definitely recommend this story! Not too much world building and easy to follow! 💖
Title says it all ……….But I do wish that Nessah got told the truth earlier so that she could have avoided all those years of heartbreak but she’s getting double for all her troubles and I’m happy for her.
I wonder if we’ll get a story about Mina and what really happened to her parents.
Soooo Neyah and Kerr are definitely fated mates right??? Whew that’s going to be MESSSSSSY !!!!!
Of all three of the Bennett, Zion was my favorite. He was determined to find his mate even though his mate wasn’t his at all. I also loved how there was mention and even inclusion of other immortals from Hollow Grove from other authors un this story which ties it all together. I can’t wait to read more from each author contributing to this small but unique town.
So far out of the three books, this was my least favorite just because of Nessah. She really didn’t do it for me. All of that fearful stubbornness was irritating. She’s not even an Alpha like Jo but she’s very controlling. Zion was cool. I’m glad he’s mated now.
I love a good paranormal series and I must say KC did not disappoint! I’m so happy for the last Bennett brother to find his mate. Nessah and Zion had so much good energy together and there story was told effortlessly. Can’t wait to read about Nyela and that KC Mills continues the paranormal collections coming.
I think this is my favorite couple so far. I love the banter between the two & of course the hotness. Once she submitted it, it was a no-brainer that they were meant to be. This story shows that you must listen to the exact words spoken instead of misinterpreting what was said.
Nessah walked a fine line by not letting Zion know the truth. He spent all that time chasing something that wasn't meant to be because she was afraid. Once the truth came out, the two became inseparable. They were happy and in love. Once he mated her, everything fell into place for them. I can't wait to see what happens for Karr and Neyla.
I'm so enjoying this series!! Love the Bennett's pack n family! I was so happy for Zion finding his true mate! It didn't take l take long and I adore, nipping drama from the gate! I suggest reading this series! keep writing these KC mills😎😃
I wonder did her parents really die. I have a feeling that they are held somewhere. That supposed to be alpha is going to cause all types of trouble. Oh baby, Karr is about to have some problems. I can't wait to see who she is going against.
The Bennett Pack got me. I'm trying to see if there's an uncle or somebody's daddy needing a mate cause, babeeee. KC Mills is a one click for me. Rather, it's a wolf or a man she got me.
Ness parents got the karma they deserved. I'm glad Ness stayed but I wished she would of told Zion that they were each other's mate. I'm happy Sula explained everything Ness needed to know.
I Always love a good 🐺wolf paranormal. And this author has delivered for the 3rd time. This was a great completion to the Bennett brothers. Can't wait to see what's next Definitely 5 stars
I knew Nessah misunderstood Sula ! ! ! Zion went hunting for Nessah’s scent so I don’t know why she thought he would let her get way once he found her ! ! ! I can’t wait for Neyla’s story
