Satanic Bill and Candy’s relationship is stronger than before. Their love is as sweet and ripe as a decaying corpse in the summertime, but the holidays are almost here! Before advancing to Full Nasty Films, Bill thinks it’s necessary to resolve certain issues from Candy’s past. Those who wronged her are facing consequences one by one, leading to the final chapter.

Dan Shrader is a horror author hailing from Southern Indiana with a penchant for the macabre. He delves into the realms of Splatterpunk and Extreme, leaving no stone unturned in his twisted tales. His passion for writing ignited when he stumbled upon a treasure trove of VHS tapes at his grandparents. Within the confines of that box, he discovered a diverse collection of horror movie titles, including classics like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, C.H.U.D, Black Christmas, and Night of the Demons.
Since publishing in February of 2024, he has gained a following and received three horror award nominations for his novella “The Devil’s Rite” and debut collection “Those Who Live in Darkness.” Shrader is also known for his popular “Full Nasty” series and bestselling short story “Craven’s Freaks.”
Oh, Father Flanagan. You filthy, filthy Irish bug. Dan Shrader introduced me to a new term for breasts here, ‘milkers.’ Really crude, but I kinda like it. “Quit looking at my milkers.” Just sounds funnier, right? Also, pubes were referred to as a ‘fur trap.’ Again, wonderful terminology here. This was bloody, sexual, and downright great holiday experience. Memorable for all the wrong reasons. The story jumped around a bit much for me, but, as I like to say, “It ain’t Shakespeare, folks.” If you have a spare half hour and want to indulge in some fun, holiday ugliness, let Dan Shrader show you the way.
COMPLETELY FULL OF NASTY I love how sweet satanic bill is to candy and how he wants to get rid of all the bad things in her life so he’s the only bad thing left so wholesome so cute this is the only romance I’ll read about. I’m going to recommend this to the romance girlies. But Dan the man did it again, cannot wait to see more
Although short, this holiday horror themed story featuring our favorite dynamic duo from the Full Nasty series packs a big punch. Unlike the other books that center around Satanic Bill, this work can be read interchangeably at any time and does not have to be in order, as it is purely an expansion into the pasts of our cherished icons, Satanic Bill and his woman, Candy. I specifically enjoyed that this story was told through flashbacks that centered around Candy and glimpses into her past. The reader travels with the power couple as they embark on a journey of vengeance for the wrongdoings that appear in pepperings of Candy's childhood trauma. Shrader delivers all the usual twisted gore, loveable (and detestable) characters, and comedy that make his legendary characters all that they are.
"The confessional door was ripped open in a flash. An eerie figure dressed completely in black with a ghostly white face came in. There were black lines around the eyes and lips of this menacing man. He looked like a pissed off member of KISS, but with no instruments." - I died lol. This scene was everything!
Satanic Candy: A Full Nasty Christmas Tale can be read as standalone or in any order of the Full Nasty Series. This particular story showcases Bill and Candy's personal endeavors together. In the very beginning we start off in a church. Satanic Bill and Candy in a church together? You can only imagine the pure fuckery that ensues...
This was a short and fun little treat just in time for the holidays! It's on KU as well. RUN.
"Despite being in his seventies, he still found pleasure in hearing about the mischievous acts of ordinary individuals who lived outside the realm of God’s grace. His fascination with other people’s deviant actions was his way of living vicariously through the sinners"
I LOVE Dan's "Full Nasty" series. It's one of my absolute favourite series in the Extreme Horror sub-genre, so I knew I'd love this short story based on the infamous Satanic Bill and his beloved Candy.. at Christmas 😆
As expected, it was foul, disgusting, and hilarious. Dan never fails to explain things in the grossest but funniest way and comes up with the most ridiculous names for nasty things.. "pork stick" 😆 you don't have to have read the Full Nasty series, so it's a great little wholesome Christmas tale 🤪
Short, depraved and a lot of fun to read. My introduction to the Full Nasty world was a twisted Christmas revenge rampage. Bill and Candy are two messed up individuals, but their relationship is kinda sweet, in a psychotic way. Even though it's a short read, Shrader was able to get me invested in the characters. I think this was the perfect introduction to this series and definitely makes me want to read the rest of the Full Nasty series.
