An alien criminal in hiding. An enticing female he can’t ignore. But can he protect her from his violent past?
With her birthday just around the corner, Mina Walker has found herself reflecting on her life.
Thirty and still stuck in her tiny hometown.
Thirty and still clinging to the ghosts of people she lost years ago.
Thirty and still alone. Still a virgin.
She refuses to spend this birthday by herself. So when chance brings her face to face with the town’s mysterious newcomer, she knows exactly who she wants to celebrate with.
Tall, intense, and sexy as sin, Viktor Novak clearly has dark, dangerous secrets. But she never could’ve guessed the truth of what he is—an alien with black horns, wicked claws, and fangs that make Mina wish he’d take a bite of her.
She should be frightened of him, of what he is, yet he saves her at every turn, and every time she looks into his burning eyes, she's drawn closer until she's finds herself yearning to be incinerated by their depths.
After years of loneliness, Mina’s ready; she wants him. Except she wants so much more than pleasure. She wants his heart.
She wants forever. ---- Check the author's website for content warnings.
Tiffany Roberts is the pseudonym for Tiffany and Robert, a husband and wife writing duo. The two have always shared a passion for reading and writing, and it was their dream to combine their mighty powers to create the sorts of books they want to read. They write character driven sci-fi and fantasy romance, creating happily-ever-afters for the alien and unknown.
The pacing and character development isn’t working for me with this one. The focus on their lust for each other and the physical drivers for the H also aren’t hitting right for my mood. Dnfing at 31%
So much of this book just ripped my heart out. Mina went through so much with almost no support and was bullied throughout her life. Accurate. People don’t stop bullying as adults, they just get better at making it sound fake nice. Sevik was sweet only to her and she loved him unconditionally. Their romance was a fast burn but still felt authentic.
Spice: 4/5
Triggers: violence including guns, blood, murder, death, assault, assault at knifepoint, kidnapping, drugging, SA (forced kiss), sex work shaming, bullying, death of parents and sibling, grieving, reference to stalking
4++ It was my rehab. I love such kind of books. We have love, spice, little action and of course happy end. I like how authors raise such questions as bullying, small town shit (I spent my childhood in small town and can relate how suddenly your life is everyone business) and of course redemption. I mean MMC kinda has his redemption and it’s big plus that authors didn’t romanticise crime Anyway, live the series. My big recommendation
Mina is such a cute and loveable FMC. I love a self-empowerment arc! And I was rooting for her so much.
And Sevik is such a great MMC and the way he is introduced and built up? Perfect! Brutal alien crime boss who’s used to taking what he wanted and is now forced to stay away from it - love it! The way he talks, notices things, cares and protects… it all goes together perfectly and still allowed for the necessary development without taking away from his bestial side.
“Fuck that,” he growled, baring his fangs. “Nobody tells me who I can mate with. Nobody tells me what’s mine. I decide.”
Something I noticed in this book as particularly good were the internal dialogues. They were hilarious!
I also very much liked how the writing was used in this one. Tiffany Roberts excelled at painting such a great image by adding fun details in the right moments. They are part of what makes Sevik so approachable and lovable. On the other hand there is the Alien language which I think they did a great job at implementing without making it complicated.
The balance between those two - the undeniable, rough alien aspects and the adorably human traits built Sevik and show who he is without having to talk about it.
And then there’s the smut… oh the smut. I mean, he has two!🥵 “Your release is mine.” Sevik tossed her hand aside and eased farther down her body. “And it will be on my tongue.”
The plot was simple and although it felt the tiniest bit slow in the middle, it worked. Not that the twists were all that surprising but they don’t need to be. The way they are solved is still captivating and sometimes it’s better if you know something is coming but not when and how so you have to dread it the entire time.
Bonus points for the epilogue - thank you for not feeling the need to make it the stereotypical HEA.🫶
Tropes Alien MMC He falls first FMC grows into her strength Small town romance Mates
A cozy, steamy alien romance with just the right amount of brutality😌
I can’t wait to read the other books in the series 🖤
There's some good stuff in this story. I typically like Tiffany Robert's books. However, there's some very bad stuff here, too.
First, the female lead is awful. A virgin? At 30? Wow. How can that trope work here at all? Her backstory makes no sense. Nothing about her past really supports her current behavior. And why, oh why, would anyone live in a town and tolerate the BS that continually comes out of the mouths of her "friends" and neighbors? No one would. I've lived in a lot of very small towns, and the portrayal of these people just isn't realistic in any way. OK, sure, it's fiction, etc., but really? This doesn't stand at all. Yet it colors the whole story in a muddy, sad, frustrating way. I don't think I've ever read a Tiffany Robert's story that was written like this. Sure, the female leads are often sad sacks, but this one is way beyond the cherry on the cake. I'm not a fan of the trend that tends to position the female lead as so super miserable. It's really not necessary to create a female lead who is surrounded by nothing but negative people, who do their best to persecute her, and have her life be one awful event/comment/interaction after another. Readers don't need that level of terrible in order to have empathy for a female lead.
The male lead is much more interesting. His backstory is interesting and kind of fun to read. His attraction to the female lead is good, but the whole "mate" thing isn't portrayed well.
Overall, this is a lackluster effort by TR and a huge disappointment. Unfortunately, it follows a pattern like the last few books. I'm not sure what's going on there, but I'd love to see the next book be a much stronger effort.
Wasn't my favorite out of the alien among us series (that one is still Claimed by the alien bodyguard) but all in all, it wasn't bad. It was still nice and spicy but I do feel that there should've been a bit more tension with Brekker (I think is his name, not gonna go back and look) as it took too long for him to show up and it was over within the next few pages that it just felt like a less than interesting plot point (much like in the alien assassin one). Other than that the rest was fine, though I'm really getting tired of the word female and how she describes kissing.

Started off cute then went on for wayy to long. I skimmed the last 15%. Also I think MMCs should have some sort of personality, sue me! Their relationship was also lowkey toxic in not a fun way…like he has full control over her and just decided they were married. Idk it didn’t sit well with me.
4&1\2 fabulous🌟's for Saved by the Alien Crime Boss🌟💖🔥
Hmmmm who saved whom or better yet they saved each other! Once again Tiffany Roberts has brought us back to the Aliens Among us world for A beautifully told story of two souls that found each other against all odds. One of the best things about a book by Tiffany Roberts is the beautifully written characters that have not only chemistry but depth. Mina a very small town girl who struggled with tragedy and towns fold who would rather gossip and judge than actually help. Lonely and sad she needs someone who will not only see her but love what they see in her. Sevik a male from a vastly different world than ours. Strong deadly and from a world very different than ours. Violence has been his constant companion , you must make your own luck and take what you want or others will take from you. He's on earth to heal from a huge betrayal and plots his revenge on those who wronged him until he meets Mina. Mina changes his world makes him think about having more makes him feel worthy of more. Can they heal each other wounds both physical and of the sou!? Will their pasts get in the way and come back to drag them apart? You need to read and find out. So freaking good! Love redemption and healing with lots of passion thrown in with just the right amount of spice! Highly recommend🔥💖🌟🔥💖🌟🔥💖🌟🔥💖🌟💖🌟🔥🌟💖🔥🔥🌟💖🔥🌟💖💖🔥🌟🌟💖🔥🌟🔥💖🔥💖🌟
«Saved by the Alien Crime Boss» виявилася дуже чарівною історією і справді гідним завершенням серії.
I absolutely loved Mina and her alien! He is the perfect blend of hot, growly, dangerous, and unexpectedly tender — basically the universal standard for “yes please.” Mina’s innocence and trusting nature made her so easy to root for, and the way she looked at him like he hung the stars? Adorable.
I was genuinely nervous that his past would come crashing down on them, but the way everything played out was so satisfying. Tiffany Roberts always delivers on the emotional payoff, and this book was no exception.
And those scenes between them? Whew. Fire hazard level steamy. Let’s just say my Kindle needed a little cool-down break.
A fun, sexy, heartfelt sci-fi romance that hit all the right notes for me!
I’ll admit this was hard to start, as the MMC seemed more aggressive and demanding than I usually like to read. But since this is Tiffany Roberts, I stuck with it and I’m glad I did. The MMC softens and you feel the love these two characters share and I melted at the end.
I started with the first book in the series and loved every story after the next. I will say this is one of my absolute favorites of the four! The flirting. The spicy scenes. The story line and plot. I just loved it! Mina and Sevik are couples goals.
Book Name/Series: Saved by the Alien Crime Boss (Aliens Among Us #4) Author: Tiffany Roberts Standalone?: Can be read as a standalone.
4 Stars
My Opinion: This was a great book, and I really enjoyed reading it. The writing was really flowy and descriptive, and the storyline was interesting enough that I finished it in one sitting. I loved the hero and heroine together, but I did feel like the relationship between them was a little too lust/sex focused sometimes.
Hero: 5/5. Sevik/Viktor (32) was amazing. He’d had a difficult upbringing, and it was clear to see how that had shaped him as a person. I loved how possessive and protective he was of the heroine, and I loved that he chose her over everything else and was willing to do anything to make her happy. Heroine: 4/5. Mina (29/30) was great. She had also been through some difficult things like losing both her parents, yet she kept going. She started out kind of shy, but she got more confident as the story progressed and started sticking up for herself. I really liked how she realised she wanted the hero, so she decided to just go for it.
DNFed at 80% when I got tired of waiting for the plot to show up...
I usually really like Tiffany Robert's sci-fi books like the Spiders Mate series and the Infinite City collection but this one felt like it focused way too much on steam and not enough on sci-fi world building. I feel like any sci-fi romance book is only hot as it's plot and this one was pretty lacking. I wanted to know more about Sevik and his world. Where's his ship and what's it like? How far is his planet? What technology does an alien possess hiding amongst humans?? I have questions...
We got a peek of some alien technology in Stalked by The Alien Assassin and I was hoping for more in this book. Unfortunately very little of that was talked about or ever explained in this book. I wish the alien science, medicine, weapons, and technology parts weren't as glossed over for what ended up being a fairly toxic "romance".
Mina unfortunately read like someone in their early early 20s, not 30s. I also really didn't like Mina being so inexperienced with life and Sevik being so controlling, being passed off as romantic. I was disappointed with Mina's total lack of agency with the townspeople but it made sense for her character's past but when that spinelessness extended into her relationship with Sevik it felt like a huge power imbalance. Their dynamic started to feel less sexy and more uncomfortable the further I got into the book. Honestly it gave me the ick.
Unfortunately this book ended up reading more like a normal snowbound cabin romance novel but with a dude with horns. Not what I was hoping for reading a TR sci-fi romance which are usually cozier and have more world building. Maybe the Aliens Among Us sub-series just isn't for me.
So many sex scenes.... and not in a good way. FMC is struggling with loneliness and grieving, and mmc alien "crime boss" is just always thinking about fucking her.
Only crime-boss related scene happens at the end!! This book needed to be longer for this story to work... well
𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖/𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒: If you're looking for a cozy holiday romance with an alien/human pairing, this is the perfect book! It really is such a great read for the season. I enjoyed this one so much.
Sevik is a sort of "morally grey" MMC who's also a good guy at his core. He's possessive and dangerous, and hasn't ever experienced the happiness and peace that can be found in life.
Mina shows him this. She's sort of his polar opposite. She is an inexperienced virgin who is a bit shy/nervous, mistreated and judged by the towns people, and just a super sweet and caring FMC. Sevik helps bring out her confidence and bravery. She finds her own possessive and protective instincts through her love for him.
I have two small nitpicks for this one. The first is when Sevik tells Mina his life story. The timing didn't feel natural, and he literally tells her everything in this moment instead of gradually revealing more of himself over time. It didn't quite fit his personality and his unwillingness to be vulnerable and trusting. So that bit felt off. And the other thing I was a little disappointed with was after they have to fight his enemies we have a time jump. I was hoping for more intimate moments with them after this before a time jump. I went back a page because I was confused a moment and thought I somehow skipped pages.
Those were my only small "issues" with the story.
I had such a fun time reading this over the holiday weekend. I didn't rush my reading and just relaxed and sipped on some hot chocolate. This really was such a cozy read. Even with the danger and drama that takes place. I absolutely loved the dynamic between these two and the warm spicy romance. It was just so lovely!
My first foray into alien romance, and if I could give this ten stars I would!!! I loved it so much!!
Mina lives in Alaska and owns a coffee shop, she has never had a relationship and due to her mom's difficult past, the townspeople can be really cruel. One day she runs into the enigmatic Victor at the grocery store, and when she is leaving she's attacked and left for dead. Victor rescues her and starts to spend a great deal of time with her at her shop. On Mina's birthday she's feeling sad, and lonely and hurt and, on impulse, drives to see Victor. Over the course of being snowed in together they fall in love, and learn a lot about each other, most importantly that Victor is an alien named Sevik who fled his home world to seek refuge on Earth. When troubles from Sevik's past arrives and puts Mina in terrible danger, Sevik will risk all for his mate, the woman he loves.
Both Mina and Sevik are, in their own way, brokenhearted hurting people. They have both suffered much, but in each other they find love, solace, protection and care. Each would be willing to die for the other, and their bond is unshakable. That kind of devotion was so incredibly heart wrenching and lovely to read, how much Mina and Sevik love each other, it was just wonderful.
The little things in this book are what give it heart, Sevik's trips to Mina's store, him decorating for Christmas for her, when he wants her to say wedding vows. Small scenes, but so emotionally powerful. The one that literally had me crying was when they went to visit Mina's parents graves before leaving Alaska. That was so poignant.
I love Tiffany Roberts and I can't wait to read more of this series!!
Aliens, man. You gotta love them and their complete enrapturement of the lady who captures their attention. Even if they tell themselves they need to stay away FOR HER OWN GOOD, they just can't stop themselves from keeping near. You know, in case said lady needs help or something.
Which, AS IT TURNS OUT, if exactly what happens with Viktor/Sevik and Mina. He's in the right place at the right time and he's able to save her. Literally. Since she was being mugged. Her injuries have him whisking her off to his isolated cabin and gives the two of them a chance to get to know one another as she heals. As it turns out, the more he gets to know about her, the more he knows she's the one for him.
But he's still an alien on the run and the people after him definitely aren't of the law-abiding sort. So all his reasons for keeping away from her still stand, he just now knows what he'll be missing out on.
Welp. Mina didn't get the "gotta keep away from one another" memo, so she opts to spend her birthday with him. Celebrating. As one does. What she definitely doesn't expect is that sexy Viktor Novak is actually a sexy alien in hiding. Which explains a lot and doesn't deter her AT ALL in her desire to be with him.
A small town with a long memory, aliens who have revenge on the mind, a little danger, more than a few steamy kisses, a male who has to realign his wants once he finds his special someone, and a lady who never expected that the man she was dreaming about was an alien in hiding. *thumbs up*
Like with Shielded/Vengeful Heart, I read it in one go! It was so good!
This is my 4th TR book, and I will definitely be back for more stories! I enjoy the way these are written. The descriptions are well done, and it's easy to imagine the story in your head as it unfolds. There's no jarring changes in between chapters, so the book flows very well.
I really liked the FMC. She had a tragic past and was somewhat of a black sheep of the town, and she started to stand up for herself and for who she loved. Made her more likeable than if she was cowardly the whole way through.
The MMC is just a yes. He was funny, flirty but also protective when she needed him 😭💕MMC slowly coming to terms with everything and all his feelings was very cute 😉
Tropes ●tragic past ●small town ●he falls first ●FMC finds her strength 💪🏼 ●grumpy MMC x shy FMC ●mates ●hea

This was surprisingly really emotional for an alien romance.
Both our leads had incredibly tough lives up to the point of meeting. Mina, with her grief and constant harassment due to her mother's actions, which were done out of necessity and Sevik... literally running away from his past for safety, his life growing up was not easy.
Listen, that loneliness will eat you alive. But Mina stayed kind and I related to that a lot. She was kind and gentle despite the world being cruel to her.
Usually, I read Tiffany Roberts because it's a safe formula. Easy to read. Cute romances. Great spice. But sometimes they hit a little different, and this one did just that.
If only we could all find our own Sevik. What an intense but dreamy male. One of my favorites that they have written this far 💜
I have read all 4 of the books in this series now, and although #2 is the one that started it all for me so it holds a special place in my heart, THIS ONE IS MY FAVORITE. Mina is by far my favorite FMC in the series so far. I think because she is so relatable, but also because she EVOLVES as the story goes on. I love that Sevik supports her along the way, but she finds her own strength. She isn't strong because he pushes her to it, she is strong by default and she realizes it on her own by watching him and loving him. The love story is beautiful, the spice is perfect, there was enough conflict to keep the plot moving (particularly at the end, I was squeezing the life out of my kindle with excitement). *chef's kiss* I have zero complaints about it. loved this one.
This is a fun winter sci-fi romance. It is part of the Aliens Among Us series but can be read out of order.
Human FMC Mina lives alone in small-town Alaska, running her bookstore/coffee shop. A trip to the grocery store on a snowy night has her literally falling into the arms of the handsome newcomer to town, MMC Viktor. Events keep pushing them together, and eventually he reveals his true alien identity.
This book was so fun! It was cozy, spicy with creative anatomy, sweet, and a little dangerous at times as well. The events happen around Christmas, so it’s a nice seasonal read without being too Hallmark cutesy.
I hope to see more installments in this series in the future!
Spice 4.5/5 Plot: 4.5/5 Writing: 4.5/5 My Enjoyment: 4.5/5
I love this series and I was so excited for this addition and it did not disappoint, they just keep getting better and better. Victor/Sevik and Mina are adorable together. Their adventures in the Alaskan winter will have you glued to the pages. They are both tortured souls who have suffered and fought through life and find the joy in life again with each other. The spice is top tier and the characters and world building will have you hooked from the start. I love the writing duo of Tiffany Roberts and I can't wait to see what comes next. Couldn't recommend this more, go get it.
This book was beautiful, and it made me ugly cry at 2:50 am. I adored everything about it. Mina was an adorable yet strong FMC who, despite her fears and her past, grew as a person with the support of Sevik. Sevik was everything I could have hoped for in an MMC. He was sexy, he was strong, he was the captain of yearning, not to mention he happened to be an alien. What more could a girl want? This was probably the best book Tiffany Roberts has ever published, and I will stand by that for the rest of my life. I adore these characters. I adore the romance. I adore the writing. Thank you for this wonderful piece of literature, which I will cherish for the rest of my life.
