Kind of lost its shine,to be honest . Brad’s antics and his refusal to conform were hilarious in the previous books but he is now apparently in love and I have no idea why -he slept with Raul 2 times and that’s about all their interactions . Now he’s pregnant and wants to go back to Raul because love 🙄 The first part of the book was boring as hell and I didn’t want to go on but in the second half things started to pick up again and Brad was hilarious as always.I admire the imagination and the ingenuity the author put in this book and in Brad’s lines but I have to say that I’m getting tired (and pissed off) of these short crumbs the author throws at us every month or two . I haven’t decided if I’ll read the next one yet. 3.5 rounded down this time.

Now things are getting exciting! Brad is mysteriously back in his own world and Raul and his pack are frantically looking for him, not yet fathoming the magic at play.

I enjoyed seeing Brad back in his element, with twin Devon and with his dude-bro frat brothers, who, hilariously, get invested in Brad’s outlandish attempts to magic his (and Devon’s) way back into the book-world Raul supposedly comes from.

I also loved the introduction of Luna, the author of The Wolf’s Mate and a witch in her own right. It was especially fun seeing how Luna interacted first with Brad’s bold claims about the book’s magic and his mate/omega status within, then later when she came into contact with Raul himself, her own hunky alpha creation.

Raul and Brad only share a few brief chapters together, reunited magically near the end, but damn it was worth it to meet Brad’s dude-bro friends and to watch their hysterical reactions to the discovery of magic and werewolves.

This may have been even funnier for me than book one, which is saying a lot, but I’m especially invested now in the whole cross-dimension travel idea and in the way Brad and Raul have now experienced each other’s worlds with amusing results.

Once again, the story ends with a cliffhanger of sorts, as both the alpha and his omega are reunited but are desperately trying to get back to Raul’s world/pack… especially now that Brad is pregnant and Raul's original book mate, Catalina, has shown up in a huff demanding her life back!

I love how each entry keeps getting more and more surprising. Raul and Brad's relationship increases its intensity with each entry while the concept of this series gets more complicated I enjoy all of the hijinks and how I never really know where this story is going. Another entertaining story that is such a joy and full of funny antics. Cannot wait for the next one.

Finally some plot!!! I liked this one better than the first two, maybe because most of the book was the two of them being apart...oops.

I'm not really feeling the romance tbh, there's not enough development, it's very insta lovey which is what you'd expect from a novella, but yeah. I have to wait for the next audiobook to release in July, so hopefully I won't totally lose interest in continuing, because the cliffhanger was really good.

As many already pointed out. The books could have been longer. And they all seem to end with a cliffhanger 🙄 How ever my objection is that the MCs was seperated for the larger part of this one. They didn't meet up until the last part of the book. But - it's still a fun and addictive read so I'm continuing with the next.

So here are my all over the place thoughts on this third installment of Bro and the Beast.

✨️The first half of this story dragged on for too long. All that stuff with Luna and trying out spells found on the internet made me want to pull my hair out. If you combined all three books so far, I was well past 300 pages and was just ready to see some meaningful, loving interactions between Raul and Brad. With Brad acting the way he was in the beginning, I hadn't gotten any of that.

✨️As impatient as I was watching Brad and Devon try to find a way back to Raul, I still couldn't help laughing at how funny Brad's frat brothers were. 🤣 How are those guys so nonchalant about all the crazy shit happening in their house? Witchcraft, gay furries, magical books, and werewolves falling from the sky? Whatevs. 😎 Not even the craziest thing they've seen all week. 😭😭

✨️This book is just silly. You can't take it seriously at all, but boy, is it fun to read. I think it was a good idea to break the book up into smaller books because there is no way this would have worked as a full novel. It's too meandering and unfocused.

✨️I wish there was more relationship building between the MCs so that Brad's sudden epiphany that he's in love with Raul made more sense, but I'm just going with it... attributing it to their bond or whatever. 3 stars because it wasn't as good as the first two books.

I love mpreg, but this is the first time I’ve read one where the character didn’t know it was a possibility. Everything that Brad experienced on this journey was pure gold.

I’m looking forward to his progression and getting another fix of Brad and Raul. Those dude’s have serious chemistry. I just kinda wished they spent more time in bed. Or against a wall. Or shoved over a counter top. I think you catch my drift.

And now to wait almost a month for the next installment. I think I’ll be terribly sad when these end.

I'm going to be the bad guy here and say that we're over 400 pages of Brad and Raul saga and we're still getting absolutely nowhere .

In fact, I don't think we're even halfway into the plot yet!

I'm giving this book 3 generous⭐, because I like the characters and the premise is original, but I can't give it more because even though it appears the story will continue for another idontknowhowmany books, I don't feel like we have a strong love bond here, not only that, it's being dragged on and on and the story kind of lost its momentum for me.


🟣 I was seriously excited with the first book in the series, I loved the premise of the story, loved the idea of Brad-the-frat-guy being the loudmouth first human Omega in the 80's sexy werewolf story, and even though Raul wasn't as developed as a character, I was immediately sold, I mean, who doesn't like a big, sexy shifter, right?

But it's been the third installment already and maybe it's just me, but explain to me how does Brad go from not being emotionally invested in the relationship with Raul even a little, to loving him in this installment. How is that possible?

🔵 There was so little relationship development in the previous two books, I thought Brad couldn't wait to get the hell out of Raul's world, there was no opening up and realizing that "hey, maybe I like the guy" , there was nothing.

So in that respect I have no idea what the hell they're doing here, playing the happy couple.

Brad never seemed interested enough and all of a sudden he's jealous and wants Raul to himself. Yeah, right.
For so many pages, the author skipped a vital part, and that was the development of Brad's feelings.

🟢 The story just became even more complicated and there are already enough pages for a hefty book here!

I really don't think it was a good idea to prolongue the story so much , I think the beginning was strong, the previous book should've had a really strong love story forming between Brad and Raul and this one should've had a strong ending or if it continues, at least we'd have a solid foundation with Brad and Raul, but with how things are going, they'll take probably about another 2-3 books to get comfortable with each other.

I have no desire to read another 400 pages of what Raul and Brad are up to, with Brad continuing being a total asshat.

It was refreshing and funny at first, but now it's just annoying.

This series is comedic GOLD!

I couldn’t be more thrilled at the success this series is having because it deserves it. It gently mocks tropes and authors and readers alike, but more in an elbow nudge/wink sort of way, like we’re all in on the joke together. But throughout that is also a really fun story and interesting characters who I want to see much more of! I already can’t wait for the next one!

Still hysterical. And utterly, utterly ridiculous. Brad ends up back in his own world and is desperate to get back to Raul, so some truly crazy witchy shenanigans ensue and we get something of an explanation for everything that's happened. We also spend some time in the frat house and honestly, I was cackling. This is such a fun serial, not at all meant to be taken seriously and also, not a trilogy. I don't know why I keep expecting things to be trilogies, but I am pretty stoked that there's more in the pipeline.

Everything was out of control in this instalment and I loved it!!

Witch magic? Check.
Frat bros asking if said magic is for an econ final of all things? Check.
Mpreg and morning sickness? Check.
Raul getting a taste of his own medicine? Check.

This book was one big ✅ for me and I am so looking forward to the remaining instalments. However, after sprinting through the first three books, I’m pausing here to catch my breath.

So I read this whole series as one giant book, so my review will be the same for each book. It worked for me to read it that way because each book ended and began seamlessly. Each book would end on a cliffhanger, and it would then pick off exactly where it let off on the next book. Each book was also relatively short, so I was zooming.

I loved this series so very much. I don’t think I have ever laughed this hard reading a book. It was soooooooo funny. Brad is probably one of my favorite characters ever.

I’m not going to go too much into what’s going on since I’m posting this review for each book, so I don’t want it to be all spoilery, but I’ll say a little. So basically Brad and his twin brother Devon got into a fight. Brad didn’t understand why Devon liked to live with his head in a book instead of living his life. Stupid sibling fight really. Brad decides that he’s going to read Devon’s favorite werewolf book, so maybe he can apologize and they can have something to talk about. Brad didn’t expect to actually like the book. He couldn’t put it down. Later that night, he had to leave to go to a frat party, so he takes the book with him so he can read it later. On the way there, he gets in a car accident, and he wakes up in the book. And he’s the new main character. And this gigantic werewolf insists that Brad is his omega mate. Brad who is 100% straight and has no desire to get down with the dogs. The book kicks off fast, and I LOVED it. The rest of the series is then Brad trying to figure out what he needs to do to get back to his life. Lots of stuff is in the way. It’s a wild ride.

I would say that the last book was my least favorite, only because it was a little slow. I felt like we could’ve wrapped up the ending quicker, but that’s all. I loved how the story progressed and everything that went down. I also very much loved the werewolf sex thank you. I’m super interested to see how the next book goes!!! (It’s about a new couple)

I adooooooored this.
I'm loving this series so damned much; I'm now happy I've waited this long to start it bccause not having the next installment straight away would have made go crazy.
Lighthearted, funny, steamy, original, iconic characters: I'm obsessed. I loved going back to the "real" world: I adored getting to know Devon a bit more, and finally meeting all of Brad's frat bros was as hilarious as I expected. I already know the next installment will be as crazy as this one, and I can't wait to see more of Brad's world collide with the book world.
Also, I'm loving the plot development: Constantine sounds like such an interesting villain, and I'm already excited to see what will happen with Devon too.

ALSO, Raul and Brad's romance is *chef's kiss* I love their dynamic to bits, and the steam was STEAMIN' in this installment. The praise kink? Brad finally (albeit reluctantly) accepting his omega status and his sexuality? You go, king!

PS: I don't think I've said this before, but THESE COVERS ARE GORGEOUS. I think this one is my favourite.
