Rate this book
Survival. Hope. Betrayal.

As Earth dies, humanity's last chance lies on a pristine parallel world. But salvation comes with a price.

Captain Marc Sanders balances the psychological toll of saving 4.5 billion on a dying earth with his personal demons. His daughter's life hangs on his every decision. When evidence mounts that their mission may be built on lies, members of his team turn on each other. As loyalties crumble and tensions rise, Marc evaluates the morality of the price he must pay.

From a political assassination to forced occupation to stealing a future on Idyllium, impossible choices will be made. Fans of political or military sci-fi thrillers, environmental cautionary tales, and character-driven science fiction will be drawn into this enthralling tale of speculative fiction.

Reading is a passion. Writing is an obsession.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, I now reside and write in Milan, Italy. As an independent author, I invest in my writing by collaborating with coaches, beta readers, editors, and proofreaders. This dedication to quality, coupled with my passion for crafting compelling stories, ensures that my books are engaging, thought-provoking, and offer a memorable experience.

I am particularly drawn to stories that feature relatable characters embarking on meaningful journeys. Drawing from my own personal experiences enriches the writing process, allowing readers to feel a deep connection with the characters they spend time with. This human connection between my characters, readers, and myself fuels my drive as an author.

I am always fascinated by the power of art to inspire optimistic views of the future. I believe that our future holds great promise, and I am committed to using my writing to convey this belief.

This was okay—I had to check it out after enjoying another book by this author. Sadly though, the delivery was poor (robotic dictation-style narration, no voice-acting to be found).

That pretty much ruined my reading experience.

🎙️ Audio:
This wasn’t optimal—overall sound quality was decent! The narration though was extremely robotic and made listening to this very difficult. As a result, I struggled to pay attention.

As the author, I think this is a great read. The characters are deep and relatable and the moral dilemmas several of them face are equal to the stakes of saving the 4.5 billion left on a dying Earth.
