I have read the three books in this series. . . And I am in love with them!!!!! If your interested in mystic, love, adventure, wonder, fulfillment and absolute contentment, these are the books for you! I have enjoyed reading again! I have learned to take the time for myself (even if it is in 5 min increments) to sit and breath and READ! I love how they take you from a blank page, to a beginning, middle and end! I feel like I am getting a true story, and not a bunch of fluff!!! Thank you May Nicole Abbey for giving me the desire to find myself lost in books again!!!
So far, I have really enjoyed The Fall Series. The Dreamer is my favorite of the three books that are currently available so far. But I did enjoy The Scholar and The Pauper, as well. The Pauper has quite a cliffhanger, making me looking forward to the fourth book of the series. Great set of stories. 4 stars.
The Dreamer (The Fall Series #1) - 3 Stars The story overall was intriguing and an interesting fast paced read. The relationships between the different characters was sparked with romance. I loved the Captain; he was my favorite character in the book. The Captain protected Rachel and was just a lovable hard ass outward but sweet inward guy character.
I found the start of the book to be confusing; I did not understand Rachel’s reasoning or characterization in why she was doing what she was. It just kind of started and there was no build up to the beginning; I felt more explanation would have been appreciated. The character of Rachel as a whole was confusing. She had done so much research on everything yet when it came to life experience she was making the stupidest mistakes that anyone would know not to do.
Overall, I would recommend this book. Getting through the beginning onto the real story created a great read.
