What a delightful read! This was book 4 in the Mountain Shadow Mysteries series. To be upfront, I have not read books 1-3. However, after reading this book I am definitely going to go back and read the others!

Even with not having read books 1-3, I was never lost in the storyline of who was who. The author does a very nice job of detailing the townspeople but not overly so.

I’m not a huge fan of Bellamy, but then again, I don’t think you are supposed to be. The mother - wow - what a handful!! Each character is really interesting and I hope to get more into the werewolf character in upcoming books. It also sounds like Will should be making Detective at the rate of murders in the town!

Cozy murder-mystery with a thread of heart warming romance.

Our latest installment to the Mountain Shadow series is delightful and perfect to get you into the Christmas mood with all the holiday preparations going on at The Grand and the blooming romance between Caroline and Will.

This time we see more of Bellamy, stirring up drama into the mix, and a murder that might just ruin The Grand's first commemorative event.

Certainly one of my favorite whimsical series to snuggle up to on the sofa.

This is book 4 of Mountain Shadow Mysteries. It is a great little Christmas Murder Mystery book. This book covers, mystery of the town, Christmas Theatre Drama, Murder, and family drama. The storyline keeps the ready going through the whole book as it brings everything together at the end. Usually, I can figure out who did it by the middle of the book but this one, had me guessing until the end. Oh, let's not forget about the ghost at the hotel.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I liked how Caroline rescues the Christmas season for Mountain Shadow and her hotel as well as solving the murder. The incentive to solve it quickly is not very nice but it works out well in the end.

Ghostly Fun

Fun mystery with the supernatural thrown in. Loved all 4 books in the series and can't wait for the next one. Light easy read, I couldn't put down.

I really enjoyed this series. I loved all the characters & really wished we got more information about Phillip.
Hopefully 🤞 we get more episodes in the series in future.

Caroline is back on the case. Yup, another murder in the small town of Mountain Shadow. But did it really have to happen in the middle of Caroline’s and Officer Handsome’s first real date? Of course, it did! This is a fun “whodunit” that keeps you guessing until the end and finishes with a nice, nostalgic, comfy Christmas feeling. A perfect way to begin December and the Christmas season!
