The Tears She Cried: Banished

Rate this book
Banished, first book of The Tears She Cried series takes us back to the Garden of Eden setting the stage to explore the mostly unknown origins of the first couple’s life. This fictional work sparks the imagination of how all of creation could have reacted to the choices of Adam and Eve, life in the wilderness, and Heaven’s response. Prepare yourself to get lost in the story, to smile at the antics of TeeArey, and gasp at the serpent’s hissing words to Father (God) and the first couple.

Jaime K. Harris gives us an insider’s look into the story of Adam and Eve in a creative way driving us to question what we know and understand about what really happened in the beginning.

Beautiful book! The spiritual warfare that entered the world when sin entered was eye opening. Jamie did a beautiful job opening your eyes to what Eve and Adam would have experienced. God wastes nothing!
Recommending to all my friends and can’t wait for the next one!

Goodness I don’t even know if I can type find the words to type how good this book is. From beginning to end. I open this up thinking oh this book will be fun. Then I found my self in tears and being able to relate. Also this made Adam and Eve real to me. I know they were real but this really helped me see the humanity in them and wonder more of what really was it like. I never thought that the emotions they were feeling were the first they felt…what was that like? Jamie in my opinion did a great job bringing them to life for me….and reading all that Eve could have gone through…as a mother and all the words just hit perfect. I loved the way this is written and honestly it opened my eyes and it’s just brought all these questions for me to ask and for me to seek the lord and search his word. This is so good and I just ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS BOOK!! It holds a special place in my heart because of how it made the Bible come more to life for me. Thank you Jamie for your beautiful written book. I’m inspired.

This was an absolutely wonderful read! I'm not much for reading, other than my Bible and devotionals. But this was so well written. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
