Holy cow the third book of this series is amazing, as you could see from the title of my review I had a hard time putting it down until it was finished.

Once again, maybe not for everyone, but a great little cozy LitRPG book about Brewing, Food, Beer, Dwarves and Beards, I certainly really enjoyed it.

Three cheers for the third book!

I have had so much fun reading this! Pete is such an excellent character and his friends are great folk! The story is interesting with a clever plot and interesting, fun, smart, dialog.

The world is rich with deep back story. The gods are fun and mischievous with their plots and petty jealousies. The author has created a believable fantasy world that works and makes sense. The races are all unique and each has distinctive traits. The social system is well thought out and realistic. The Interludes are strong and help advance the story and keep it interesting. I enjoyed very much Pete’s reminiscences of his family, his Earthly brewing days and Canada.

Erd is a place that I would love to visit and Pete is someone with whom I’d love to sit and drink and brew with! I look forward to the fourth book!

Cheers!

Great Series

This series has been great thus far. My only issue has been with Pete having no real fighting skills as a dwarf, and his dad jokes are completely awful. But I love all the other humor in the book, and I love reading about the other Thirsty Goat family. Im not a big fan of Tourmaline\Wreck; there's just something about her nobility air and her straightforwardness that comes across as rude. I know that Pete wants a relationship but I've enjoyed him being single and focused on his beer and businesses. Though I do miss Whistlemop and Copperpot in this book. Though it seem like boom 4 will be bringing more intrigue and drama for Pete.

Solid series so long as all you want is beer, beer trivia, dwarves and drinking contests, bad jokes, and some snacks to go with your beer.

It's easygoing. It's also delightful.

And leveling those skills along the way is also quite relaxing.

Sit down, pull up a chair, have a brew.

Personal note:
If anyone reading my reviews is be interested in reading my SF (Very hard SF, mind you), I'm open to requests.

Just direct message me in goodreads or email me on my site. I'd love to get some eyes on my novels.

Wonderful as ever, but with editing errors

I love this series so very much! My husband and I like listening to the audiobooks together, can’t wait for this one to be released in audio.
However, there are quite a few editing/punctuation errors and mix ups of what character is involved. I think at one point “Browning” was used instead of who Pete was actually talking to. Malt and Monk get swapped around near the end too.

wonderful

The gang travel to the capital for the big brew off. There they meet old friends, get caught up in politics, and create new brews!

Still a fun series of lighthearted shenanigans and dad jokes. I love it. A the technical explanations of brewing add a great flavor to the story. The narrator is wonderful. Please enjoy

This book was silly, ridiculous, and absolutely entertaining.
It was a refreshing and lighthearted break between some heavier reads I’ve been going through lately.

It doesn't take itself too seriously—and that’s exactly what made it so enjoyable. A fun, goofy little ride that made me smile more than once.

This series is just fabulous and the perfect slow pace read. Nothing really happens, but at the same time, a lot happens.

These characters have my whole heart, and I love being in the dwarf world with them all.

I can't believe we only have one book left in this series. Just how is it going to end?!

While this wasn’t quite as funny as the previous books the story progression more than made up for it. It even teases a bit about the MC potentially going to the surface and visiting the elves to more freely market his ales. Sounds like a blast to me. Can’t wait to see how the story will evolve.
