I finished this last night, 12/31/24, and want to start the new year by recommending this powerful book. Don’t let its small size fool you. This book is packed with so much that it will take several readings to take it all in.

Passport to Perfection opened my eyes to prayer, meditation, and contemplation. I saw with new eyes where I have given up before thinking I would never be good at more than basic prayer. How wrong I was! The distractions, the difficulty, the dryness in prayer are all absolutely normal and part of it.

The Lord has been slowly revealing to me things about myself, things I know I need to work on. This book showed me that those issues in prayer are further proof that the Lord is at work in wonderful and wonderful ways to bring me closer to Himself.

The process in this book will be lifelong and will entail falling many times, as we all often do. The encouragement and reminders to get back up and what it all means has been priceless for me to read and begin to understand.

I highly recommend this book, especially to my Catholic followers and cannot wait to hear your thoughts.

Thank you to Krista Thomas for reaching out regarding this book and Essentialist Press for sending me a copy. I am so grateful. All opinions here are my own.
