A musical collaboration that wins a grammy serves for a night of celebration. The pull between Reckless Beat's front man, Mason Lynch and Sidney Higgins has always been there. One night of celebration and alcohol leads to a sizzling threesome between Signey, Mason, and Mason's best friend and Reckless Beat's drummer, Sean Taiden. But then a video recorded on Mason's phone meant to capture the moment to forever remember in private gets leaked, it ruins everything and completely shatters Sidney. She lost everything; her career, her self-worth, and the man she thought she trusted.
Two years later, Mason is still paying the price for what everyone had assumed were his actions. Having completely lost his muse and the respect for his band mates that were quick to think the worst of him, he's lost...and desperate. So when his band's manager offers to bring back Sidney, he jumps at the chance, even though he knows she still can't stand the sight of him. What happens when two people that have two years worth of damage and a never diminished chemistry? Well, let's just say the books is very appropriately titled.
I've had this series on my radar for what feels like ages and the promise of some sweet delicious angst in this one finally sealed the deal for me to read it. Jumping into book three without reading the first two books, however, feels like I've done this series a disservice, and may explain my slight disconnect throughout the story. While I never felt confused or lost, it does feel like I missed out on the history behind the band. But this is a mistake I plan on rectifying immediately by going back and reading the rest of the series. Eden Summers is a new to me author but one that I know I'm not going to hesitate to read in the future. I highly enjoyed her writing style and Undersired Lust was a perfect blend of steamy romance with a dash of angst.
I did see the twist at the end coming pretty much from the very first page, so that did diminish thing a bit for me. I also found myself growing a little bored through parts of the story where I found I could easily pause the book and get back to it later. Mason and Sidney together were angsty perfection. Though there were parts where I wanted to shake Sidney were her blindness and failure to see certain things that I felt were pretty obvious. The biggest highlight of the book for me, besides Mason of course, was Sean. my heart absolutely broke for him. It helped set the stage for his book perfectly (ha! see what I did there?), and I can't wait for him to get his HEA in the next book which luckily is already out. All in all, Reckless Beat is a series that I will definitely be hooked to from now on, but perhaps I should have started from the beginning and not book 3. If sexy and angsty rock star romance is your thing, this is a series you need to have on your TBR.

Almost made it to 5stars but............3.5*
This went back a bit in time to the threesome between Mason, Sid and Sean. While I'm generally not a fan of threesome's unless they end in a triad,the saddest part of this one was that both Mason and Sid already were into each other. Had he said something then it wouldn't have happened but alas a good time was had by all and the sex tape was eventually released presumably by Mason.
Throughout these books Mason has been the arrogant,over confident manwhore. Surprisingly enough I liked Mason,flaws and all. His pride and stubbornness caused him to be the bad boy everyone assumed he was and not revealing what actually happened with the tape. When him and Sid reconnect, it's because he's lost his muse and she needs the money. He initially started off trying to be close to Sid to be able to write his songs again but from the beginning we knew he had feelings for her.I liked that he persisted even gave up when necessary but he tried to get her to take a chance on them.
Sidney unfortunately did not charm me as Mason did. Understandably her life was wrecked because of the sex tape. Painted as a whore and villified she lost her friends,family and eventually all her job prospects dried up.While I understood her feeling lost,she never grew a backbone.Throughout the entire story her first response was to run from the problem and not act like a mature adult and search for a solution.She just kept waiting for someone to prop her up so the "I am woman,hear me roar" vibe I was hoping for from her never materialized. Her fragility instead of making me sympathetic to her annoyed me endlessly.Her attempt after a two week separation from Mason to supposedly find herself didn't ring true at all because until the very last page she was still a fragile,hand wringing maiden.
As a reader unprotected sex in these modern STD prevalent times always makes me cringe, throughout these books however condom use was emphasised...... until this one!!!!! Mason and Sid had unprotected sex,at least 2 times even though she knows he was a pussy whore(her own words) It was said they'd take tests to ensure they were both safe and seriously I needed the results 😂 but none were forthcoming which was a disappointment.
Sean hanging around being oh so in love with Sid was ridiculous. Considering his book is next I'm already annoyed with him and this unrequited love story.
The villian of the plot though expected was still well written, the mystery/suspense angle carried the plot nicely.
All in all had it not been for poor pathetic Sid this would've been a favorite of mine.Even with the safety issues I'm liking this series and moving on to the next.

I'm a huge fan of the Reckless Beat series by Eden Summers. The wait for Undesired Lust, the 3rd book in this awesome series, was much anticipated. The problem that often arises in this situation is that when the book is finally released it doesn't live up to the build-up you've created in your head. That is so not the case with this book. Undesired Lust was well worth the wait and then some.
In the previous books of this series we got hints about Mason and Sidney, but we never had enough information to really piece out what caused the divide in their friendship and caused the strain among the members of the band. Not only does Undesired Lust answer the questions, but it allows us to get to know Mason better. I loved it!
First off, I have to say I totally felt for both sides of this story. Sidney, Sean and Mason all made an adult decision that night and it went south in a hurry. I was appalled at the lack of support that Mason got from his friends when it did. I understand that he was an asshole and never showed much vulnerability around the guys, but still you would think they would have given him the chance to explain before they took a stand against him. I did get frustrated with Mason's refusal to offer up any self-defense when his so-called friends and bandmates assumed the worst of him. Their problems could have been ironed out way sooner had he sucked up his pride and defended himself, but I get his stubborn tendencies.
I also understand Sidney's anger and refusal to talk to Mason. At the same time annoyed with her that she didn't ask him what happened or why. Thank goodness her stubborn refusal to give him a chance was trumped by her need for money and to save her career. When Sidney and Mason finally ended up back in one another's lives it was so much fun. First, there were tons of laughs at the antics between these two trying to make each other pay for what they felt were the wrongs done. But, when they got over trying to make each other suffer the sparks flew. Wow!
I always had a feeling Mason was hiding a great guy underneath that badass, I don't give a shit attitude and boy was he. Read this book and you'll fall in love with Mason Lynch just like I did. I was sad for Sean, but we'll get his story and there is no doubt he'll get his happy ending. Thank you, Eden Summers for another great book!

Poor Mason, he was so cocky that he refused to set the story straight. He felt that his friends, should have not assumed he committed the mistake of putting the sex tape of him and Sydney and Sean. He felt alone. Now Sydney, she was devastated after the tape, and lost everything, including family and friends. The only person that stood by her was her assistant Justin. Since mason, could not seem to write a song, Leah hires Sydney, and after conflict and jealousy, the truth comes out, but she is being threatened and stalked. by who?

Sidney Higgins was his equal. She understood him. She knew what he wanted and what they had to do to achieve it. Problem was, he didn't just break that bridge, he'd pissed on it and set the carnage to flames.
Mason Lynch and Sidney Higgins are stubborn, full of pride, and fueled by disappointment and rage. And bringing the third party, Sean back into the fray only stirs up more feelings. All of their relationships were affected by the past and secrets keep them on the outs.
Mason is more than the cocky, angry, self centered jerk we thought we knew. He has deep feelings and is loyal But his pride, hurt, and jealousy get in his way. He can be abrasive and impulsive, but can also be sweet and protective.

There is a significant push and pull with longing, secrets, and games. Their sexual chemistry is strong ,but affected by fear, mistrust, guilt, betrayal, and hurt feelings. And there are other forces causing stress and anxiety with threats and danger lurking in the background.
When all of the secrets are exposed will it bring them closer together or further apart?
This installment mostly focused on Mason and Sean and the strain of their friendship on the band. But the other Reckless Beat members, Mitchell, Blake, Ryan, their manager, Leah, and also Alana and Gabi filtered in a bit. This wasn't as much about band dynamics as it was Mason and Sean coming to terms with their past and Mason finding his songwriting inspiration again. Their lives took a major turn for the worse two years ago and it was a long way back for Mason, Sean, and Sidney.
There is not only longing, lust, pain, and betrayal, but also danger and suspense. Trust is brought in question as new threats come into play. They have good chemistry and witty rapport, but also a lot of baggage. Sometimes it all seems so right, but they are also afraid of a false sense of security.
It was told in both points of view which was important because of the secrets and miscommunication. This was also about their personal growth, finding their strength, regaining trust, and sacrificing for those they care about. I really liked Mason and Sid together, and loved Sean too. I enjoy this series and group of characters. I would like to Sean find a girl....and Leah to find a happy ending. And hope Ryan can sort out his life and find happiness too. There are still more stories waiting to be told.

After two long years, the truth about the sex tape scandal that ruined so much for Sidney, Mason and Sean is about to finally come out. As the story opens, we are treated to an inside look at the night the video was made and find out exactly how Mason felt about Sidney- and her feelings for him. But before the actual stuff hits the fan so to speak, we jump ahead to the present day just 2 weeks after the end of Reckless Weekend. Sid and Mason can't be in the same room without trying to verbally shred each other, Mason has lost his muse and the future of Reckless Beat is unclear.
I really felt for Mason- he hides his pain behind sarcasm and self-deprecating humor, and for the last two years he has found himself caught in a lie of omission that he could never seem to find a way to set straight until he convinced himself it just didn't matter. Sean used to be his wingman in all things and they have grown apart. But Sidney suffered the worst losses of all of them, taking hits to her career, friendships and self-esteem just to name a few. When Leah offers her a chance to make a name for herself by working with Mason again, she feels backed into a corner but eventually agrees to try even though her assistant and best friend Justin is completely against it.
To say their road is bumpy would be like saying Mount Kilimanjaro is a hill. Feelings still run deep and they run along that thin line between love and hate. It is obvious the spark still exists between Sidney and Mason, but Sean decides to make his interest known as well throwing Mason into a jealous frenzy and Sidney into major confusion. Throw in a stalker determined to keep Sidney from Mason and there is no shortage of drama!
I suspected the baddie's identity early on by the author keeps us guessing up until the end. When I had to put the book down to go to work about halfway through, I found myself sneaking in as many pages as possible in break and at lunch to find out how it all played out. I am looking forward to seeing the last Reckless Beat rocker get his HEA and I can't wait to see what lucky lady brings him to his knees!
I really felt for Mason- he hides his pain behind sarcasm and self-deprecating humor, and for the last two years he has found himself caught in a lie of omission that he could never seem to find a way to set straight until he convinced himself it just didn't matter. Sean used to be his wingman in all things and they have grown apart. But Sidney suffered the worst losses of all of them, taking hits to her career, friendships and self-esteem just to name a few. When Leah offers her a chance to make a name for herself by working with Mason again, she feels backed into a corner but eventually agrees to try even though her assistant and best friend Justin is completely against it.
To say their road is bumpy would be like saying Mount Kilimanjaro is a hill. Feelings still run deep and they run along that thin line between love and hate. It is obvious the spark still exists between Sidney and Mason, but Sean decides to make his interest known as well throwing Mason into a jealous frenzy and Sidney into major confusion. Throw in a stalker determined to keep Sidney from Mason and there is no shortage of drama!
I suspected the baddie's identity early on by the author keeps us guessing up until the end. When I had to put the book down to go to work about halfway through, I found myself sneaking in as many pages as possible in break and at lunch to find out how it all played out. I am looking forward to seeing the last Reckless Beat rocker get his HEA and I can't wait to see what lucky lady brings him to his knees!

I was over the moon to receive an advanced copy of Undesired Lust. I love my rock stars, and the boys of Reckless Beat are no exception.
During the last full length novel and the Vegas novella, it was alluded to that Mason and Sidney's friendship went south fast after an incident, but we never really knew the details.
Well, now we do! And wowsers! Hose me down because that was hot!!
I have always liked Mason, even with all the smart arse talk and man-whoring around. He is more than just a rock star. There has always been that something, you knew there was more to him than that. And Sidney is that something.
My heart broke for her when we found out what had happened and what it had cost her. Ugly tears were shed. And I couldn't help but feel for her as she and Mason reconnect, knowing how much it is hurting her that she still wants him.
The sexual chemistry between Mason and Sidney is off the charts, through the roof crazy! It it like lightning whenever they are near each other. You just want them to get their crap together and practice making babies!!!
The surprise in all this for me was Sean. As the other half of the terrible twins, he surprised me a lot in Undesired Lust. Now I can't wait for his story because I just know it is going to be nothing short of amazing.
I loved that we got more of Mitch, Blake, Ryan, Leah and the rest of this motley crew. And the more I learnt about the people in Sidney's life, the more I am glad we didn't meet any of them.
There is a bit of suspense and mystery in Undesired Lust, and while I guessed who the trouble maker was pretty early on in the pieces, the where's and what for of it all kept me on the edge of my lounge right up until the end.
Thank you Ms Summers for giving us the boys and ladies of the Reckless Beat family, I can't wait for more

I loved this book! I discovered this author a few months ago when I was given the opportunity to read book one in this series and I swear that each book gets better and better! This book was amazing. I loved Walsh because honestly I am sucker for a tortured hero but wow! Mason rocked me to my core. He and Sean were the most mysterious as we know them but not well. And let me tell you... all the assumptions I made about Mason were totally wrong.
This is Mason and Sidney's story. After a sex tape scandal involving them and Sean, Sidney's life changed for the worse, including never speaking to Mason, the reason for the scandal. But when she is forced into working with him, she realizes that she still has a burning torch for Mason but she can't give him another chance after the betrayal. But what may seem is not always what it is. When Mason confesses a secret, it is a game changer for everything. And Mason is not the only man who wants Sidney. Throw in a stalker and you have one sexy and suspenseful ride. Will Mason and Sidney get their happy ending.
I loved Mason! Ah! He totally took me by surprise in this book! He was not what I had previously labeled him as. He was so sweet, kind, caring, considerate, alpha, sexy, and a total beast between the sheets. And Sidney... I really liked her though I wanted to smack her when she got wishy washy and did stupid things. But women are protective by nature and think with emotions more than men so I could totally understand her. And these two together... smoking hot!

Undesired Lust, the third full instalment in the Reckless Beat series, is my favourite so far! Mason Lynch, the lead singer of the band has, in the previous books, been amusing, infuriating and at time a full on arsehole. But he comes into his own in Undesired Lust, showing a depth of character I knew he’d kept hidden. I love a second chance romance, and this one is full of powerful emotion, secrets and healing. Sidney Higgins has been through hell and back, and she thinks it’s because of Mason, the man she loved. Mason has been shouldering the blame for something he didn't do. Their journey of discovery and forgiveness is a rollercoaster ride of emotions. A true love story with a whole lotta heat. Eden Summers has delivered again with this fantastic instalment. I can’t wait for the next one!

For me, this one wasn't as good as the previous books in the series. Mason was a complete jerk! All his desires did was hurt others, even when he said that he was trying to help them. Sidney also didn't mention any of her troubles to anyone save for the person who wound up being the center of the book's twist. This book took a bit of a darker turn, with a stalker situation happening, but Mason's actions throughout the entire thing always came off as self-serving. While this is a good installment the series, it was not my favorite one.

Well I think this is my favorite book from the Reckless Beat series so far!
I found myself often thinking 'how much can one couple take' often throughout this book. Mason and Sidney were torn apart once before over a huge miscommunication. Or maybe a lack of communication is more accurate. Years later they are reunited and Mason is the only one who is happy about it.
See, Mason is very self Centre. In his life everything revolves around him.. or so it appears. The reality couldn't be further from the truth. When he lost Sidney the first time he never really recovered. He became a shell of himself and created a party boy/ man whore persona for the public and his band mates.
What tore them apart completely destroyed Sidney. She lost her friends, her family, her self respect and her work. All she had left was her best friend Justin.
When the truth comes out about the past, it puts both Sidney and Mason in danger. They need to work harder than ever to get their happy ever after.
This book is full of sarcastically funny moments. There are also some serious moments that Wil, have you thinking their relationship is all but over and hoping they bounce back. There were some moments where i wanted to jump in and hit Mason over the head with a frying pan! Some of the things that came out of his mouth were at the most inappropriate times which added to the drama and entertainment. Sidney has to try really hard not to react to Mason and doesn't always succeed. This makes for some volatile but funny interactions!
I am so glad I got to read this and see a different side to Mason then we have seen in the previous books in this series. He really grows up a lot during this book and he realizes how much he loves Sidney and how much he is prepared to do to keep her in his life.
Sidney also grows up a bit, although she really was the victim from the fallout years ago, she has always been protected by Justin, but now, she is really learning to stand on her own two feet and to look after herself.
It was lovely to watch both Mason and Sidney evolve and come into their own before they decide to give their relationship a proper go and not let fear hold them back.
If you love reading about sexy rock stars and their women, then check out this latest installment of the Reckless Beat series. You won't be disappointed!

UNDESIRED LUST is a Rock Star Romance that will have your heart racing and your blood pumping. There is just something about an arrogant, complicated, possessive, sexy rock star that just makes me weak in the knees. Mason Lynch has been my favorite Reckless Beat band member since the beginning of the series. I instantly fell in love with his passion for the band and for music. I fell in love with his arrogance and his smart mouth. I fell in love with his ability to make me laugh even in the worst circumstances. Even though his thoughts were in the dark, he brought light to the band and to all of his fans.
Undesired Lust is a story about the downfalls of letting your pride take over. This is a second chance love story, and it teaches us that no matter how much time has passed, and no matter what horrible things you let come between you both, LOVE and ADORATION will help you overcome ANYTHING...that AND some pretty intense, scorching hot sex.
Oh and let's not forget about Sean, my sweet, sexy drummer. He stole my heart and ran away with it in this one. I felt his protectiveness, his disappointment, and his anguish over not getting the girl, and my heart broke for him. This man needs a Happily Ever After STAT!
A pretty stellar moment in UNDESIRED LUST was when Mason's muse returned for a brief time after seeing Sidney again, and the lyrics started to flow out of him and you could just feel the emotion pouring out of him. It was a tremendously beautiful moment.
I can always count on Ms. Summers to dish out a fantastic, unforgettable romance. A romance where the love between two people is so intense, so moving, and so beautiful, that it's enough to put your ovaries in a tailspin.

I swear that the Reckless Beat series keeps getting better and better! I thought I loved Blake, but now Mason is my favourite for sure! Undesired Lust was full of sexual tension and suspense right from the beginning, and I loved watching every minute of Mason and Sidney together.
I love how Eden hooked me to this book right from the first few chapters that were from the past. Those chapters were sizzling and I could see that the attraction between Mason and Sidney was mutual and they had a fair bit of trust in one another. Knowing that it was shattered not long after is what was devastating, when clearly these two belong together. I could see dramatic changes in both Mason and Sidney after the scandal; Mason is now pretty bitter and has a bit of resentment against those who were supposed to be on his side. Sidney is pretty withdrawn and has lived an extremely quiet life since her world fell apart around her.
There were a few hurdles for Mason and Sidney to overcome, both emotionally and physically. They are both still extremely attracted to one another and while Mason tried to win Sidney over, she was trying her best to keep him away. She is unsure whether she would survive again after going through so much previously. Having Sidney back in Mason’s life is certainly a good thing for him and his band. I loved seeing Sean there too, being a pillar of support for both Mason and Sidney, as she was close with Sean too.
Undesired Lust had an intense storyline entwined underneath the rekindling relationship between Mason and Sidney. Toward the end of the book I was holding my breath in suspense as things really got exciting. I think that Eden has done a wonderful job piecing this story together with the right amount of romance and suspense to form an incredible read. Get onto this series as soon as you can, if you haven’t already!!

Eden Summers has done it again but this time with more intrigue and even higher heat if you can believe it. This is part of the Reckless Beat series but can be read as a standalone. In this novel we are given real love, the kind that will literally take a bullet for you. It’s dramatic and traumatic while still keeping you wrapped up in what could be a messy love story. The scenes are vibrant and telling not to mention sometimes making you want to call the firemen out to put out the heat. This is a must read for those who enjoy a little mess in their romance.

Mason Lynch can be a real A-hole. He’s got arrogance in spades and the good looks and success to back it up. He’s also in love with Sidney Higgins, but past events have torn them apart. Not that he’s admitted to having such strong feelings. That would require him to put his pride aside and own up to some things. Not something that anyone would expect from the lead of Reckless Beat. But even rock stars deserve a second chance at a happy ending.
Undesired Lust was another thrilling tale in the Reckless Beat series and I was a goner before I even started the book. Previous books in the series made me a fan, and this book just solidified those feelings. Eden Summers knows her rock stars and her love stories. I read this one in a matter of hours and then turned right around and went back to the beginning to skim and reread my favorite parts. The first half of the book had me missing Mitch and Blake, but all five band members were there in the end and I am intrigued to see how things play out for not only the band, but also for Ryan. While Mitch, Blake and Mason have been falling in love, Ryan’s marriage has been falling apart. The last scene before the epilogue has me worried for his mental state and anxious for more in this series. Three have fallen, two still need their happy. And I live for my heroes getting their happy. Mason’s happy was a great read with a bit of intrigue and a whole lot of forgiveness and sexy loving. And Sidney was a great heroine. She’s a lot more than a pretty face and a pretty voice. She is the perfect match to Mason’s arrogance. Well done, Eden Summers. Well done.

Undesired Lust is the third book in Eden Summers Reckless Beat series. This book had me from the very first pages. Sidney Higgins and Mason Lynch were Grammy award winners. They were on a drunken high after the awards ceremony and then one senseless act changed the course of their lives. Sidney is broken. She is facing a tough road when she is approached with the opportunity to turn her life around. She agreed to help Mason regain his muse. She hadn’t worked with him in over two years and regretted agreeing to the assignment. Sparks immediately begin to fly between them but the cause of their breakup is ever present. Then, Mason divulges the truth behind the events that led to her demise and their breakup. On top of it all, she is faced with dealing with the events all over again, in addition to questioning who she can actually trust in her life. Undesired Lust is about learning how to trust others and how to love again. Eden Summers knows how to bring the emotions out of her characters. I could feel both Sidney’s and Mason angst as they learned to deal with the past, trust one another and open their hearts to love. I highly recommend this book along with the other books in the Reckless Beat series. I’d like to disclose that I received an advanced copy of Undesired Lust in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This is another well done novel by Eden summers!
I loved the story line, suspense, sexiness and everything about this book!
You see the two character working fabulously together. But one night things change and hearts get broken... By something someone feels the other person/s have done...

Sidney... You'll feel for her and sympathize with her feelings. She's sassy and keeps him on his toes.

Threesome, Sex Tape, Betrayal, and Deception -- Eden Summers brings all these elements and more together for a platinum release. Best of all it is all unveiled in a realistic way.
With so many rock star books released I enjoy her ability to provide readers with unique storylines. With the history written for these characters a HEA seems impossible, but I knew this author would not neglect her readers.

Eden Summers really knows how to pull the emotions out of you. Sid is asked to work with Mason again and she decides to do it. However since her and Mitch have a history they do not make it easy working together. He pushes and she pulls. I cant get enough of this series. Each book just gets better and better. I highly recommend hi series if you haven't read it yet. All the band member will have your heart. We find out what happened so long ago with Sid and Mitchell.

5 Rocking Stars!!!
OMG Ok I thought I had a fav in this series but Mason just blew it out of the water.
So much emotion and desire. I was on the edge of my seat reading this one.
In UL we see a soft and broken side to Mason the way it all played out was very emotional to read. It's one of those it can happen to anyone moments so be careful.
Eden has outdone herself with UL it is intense and unputdownable

OMG I loved Mason and Sidney's story...I found myself lost in their relationship....This story drew me in and I was eagerly turning the pages as their story unfolded and though I couldn't wait to get to the end, I did not want the story to end at all! This was beautifully well written, a book with a fantastic blend of romance, suspense, drama and humor...Eden Summers has done it again, given readers a wonderful story!

Just when you think you have found the perfect Reckless Beat guy for you, BAM! Eden Summers comes along with another amazing book in her hot rocker series and blows your theory to smithereens! While Blake Kennedy is my main man, I have to say getting to know Mason as more than just the cocky rocker we have seen so far, has moved him right up there as my number one backup book boyfriend.

That little party produced the infamous sex tape that not only ruined Sidney’s career but her relationship with Mason and Sean as well. Ms. Summers reveals some very interesting tidbits about how each character felt during that evening, along with one incredible, scorching, well-orchestrated threesome sex scene. *fans self*
