My mother always told me to avoid professional athletes, but did I listen? No. That’s how I wound up being cheated on -- and with a puck bunny no less. Now I’m suddenly single right before Christmas. Faced with the prospect of being alone for the holidays, I decide to escape to the mountains for a little ‘me time’.

There’s just one problem. I’m not exactly cut out for country living. The cabin I’ve rented only has a fireplace for heat and even though I looked up how to build a fire, I learn the hard way that if you don’t open the flue the whole place gets smoky. Oops. And then there’s the big snowstorm that keeps me from getting back to town to buy groceries. Now I’m snowed in, hungry, and scared out of my mind.

I decide to visit a nearby cabin to borrow some food. Turns out that it’s the vacation home for two giant hockey players with the Hopeton Howlers, Brandon and Raymond. I’m immediately attracted to them. Both of them. The two best friends are hot and sweet and seem to want to take care of me. When they invite me to stay with them for the holiday, of course I say yes. Even though they’re athletes, I figure I can have a little fun with them, as long as my heart doesn’t get involved.

This was a cute story. Heartbroken Andrea plans to spend time along in a remote cabin for Christmas. Things dont go as planned and she is rescued by her two hot neighbors. Some laughs, a little sadness and some steamy scenes in this book. The story was sweet and I loved how everything turned out.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a fun, quick holiday romance. Andrea was clueless about living in the mountains when she rented a cabin to spend Christmas alone after catching her boyfriend cheating on her (idiot was surprised she was breaking up with him). Things were not really going her way until Raymond and Brandon, who were staying in a nearby cabin, heard her and stepped in to help. They were drawn to her and figured they'd see her again f it was meant to be. When she went to them for food the next day, it was sweet how quickly they set about feeding her and inviting her to stay. When she learned their relationship status...

Icing Their Candy Canes was a fun, festive, and very spicy holiday read that knew exactly what it was trying to be, and mostly delivered.
This is a quick, steamy novella with strong holiday vibes, great chemistry, and a playful “snowed in together” setup that absolutely works. The spice was front and center (no complaints there 👀🔥), and the dynamic between the characters was entertaining and flirty.
That said, it is a shorter read, so the emotional depth and relationship development move fast. I would’ve loved just a bit more buildup and connection to fully push this into a 5-star read for me.
Overall, if you’re in the mood for a light, sexy, holiday ménage romance that doesn’t take itself too seriously, this is a great pick. Perfect for when you want something fun, festive, and hot without a big emotional commitment.

Curiosa lectura de diciembre la mía, la verdad es que tiene más trama de lo que parece y no todo es spicy sin sentido, lo que se agradece mucho. Es el tipo de lecturas que cualquiera leería rápido, pero yo me tardo mucho porque ocupo múltiples pausas.

No hay mucho que pueda decir porque es súper cortito, pero más allá del spicy, es divertido, los personajes tienen una química muy divertida entre ellos y va más allá de la conexión sexual, a pesar de que eso es lo principal. Estoy muy segura de que me voy a encontrar más lecturas así porque todas vienen el Stuff Your Kindle Day, pero no me quejo.

Hockey Players to the Holiday Rescue
Andrea is having a rotten holiday - a cheating boyfriend, a snowstorm and a smoked-out cabin amount to a need to scream. Fortunately, Raymond and Brandon are there to rescue her. I enjoyed this love-is-love holiday ménage with its insta-love and it’s sweet-n-spicy moments. Plenty of MM action, which I appreciate, but also lots of communication, which is also important. A fun holiday read.

I haven’t read any of these types of books but really enjoyed it 2 guys into each other but liked a third female for their trysts. It was Christmas and enjoyed each other. Which led to an on going relationship. If you like these type of books this is for you, get it.
