Really loving this series. Adventure intrigue and relationships with magic.
This really is an excellent series. Im especially enjoying the depth of the characters, their fears, motivations and hopes. The structure of the mystic world building, or magic theory is coherent and logical.
The storyline is advancing wonderfully as the MC works to develop a synergistic combination of the mystic energies: mana, essence and aura. His personality and physical attributes as well as his aura are attracting a number of women. Jane, Daphne, Sylvia, Ruth, Iris and lets not forget Lord Amon’s daughter Clyse. Yet the story isn’t devolving into excuses to write lit-porn. Thankfully so. This is also attracting the unwanted attention of the prince, Andrew Ragnar who sold his soul.
Let’s not also forget Lord Amon of Umbara’s machinations and how they will intersect with the MC as well as Cylora in the future. I see lots of interesting potential for the future storylines here and look forward to reading them.
Still, I highly recommend better cover art. Though this one at least fits into the story, it does nothing to stand out and attract new readers.

Fun book, meh ending
This book was a lot of fun. That is, until you reach the ending. I don't know if the ending is a true cliffhanger, but it is unsatisfying, to say the least. It's worth the read, but the ending might annoy people.

A fine continuation of the series.
Just one little oops. As the MC is buying a stallion (per the narrative) the seller say's "SHE will serve you well". My caps on the gender of the horse.

A good continuation.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was fun and entertaining. The story and characters were incredibly interesting and engaging. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next. This book and series are definitely worth checking out.

Very good book
This is a fine fantasy harem adventure novel. It is well written and edited. I especially like the main character's Mom. I anxiously await the sequel.

4.5 stars. Seemed stronger than book 1 overall. More comprehensive review will be for book 3, which I read immediately after this.

Yet another main character who’s good at everything and a stud to boot. A lot of this book is given to descriptions of girls falling in love with him, which gets a bit tiresome. Are they just going to follow him around like baby ducklings, all 25 of them? I preferred the first one.

There are a lot of positives going for this series. So much I won't even mention the negatives. :)
My favorite part is the MC acts like a man, not a modern-day body type-A person. He actually tells a woman to smile, and later has sex with only implicit consent, not six paragraphs of verbal "checking in" to make sure it is what she really, really truly wants.
