My name is Kelly Elledge. I'm an avid reader from way back when...and a new author. I just self-published my first novel Finding Maisy in June of 2024 and my second, Out of Time, in November 2024! I'm currently working on my third novel. I read many different genres including, fantasy, suspense, thrillers, romance and more. The books I write reflect that, in that they are full of excitement, suspense, and slow burn romances.

I'm a full time CT and X-ray tech, a wife, and a mother to four wonderful daughters. I write anytime I have a spar second (which isn't often.) It's such a passion of mine that I smothered for too long. It is time to breathe...happy reading everyone.

I enjoyed this story. I liked the adventure, the characters (especially Jake), the banter between Samantha and Jake, and the setting (1870s). I read it for the thrill of the ride and it delivered. When I finished the book, I was smiling and thinking of some of the early Western television shows I enjoyed watching when I was younger. Even now, I'll stop and watch an old Audie Murphy movie or an episode of "The Rifleman." This author's tale entertains...and that's why I am giving it four stars.

I devoured this book! A romantic fantasy with a strong, sassy FMC, a swoon-worthy MMC, and a fiercely loyal friend, full of romance, adventure, danger, and full circle revelations. And... The banter!

A cosmic event and the perfect storm of circumstances throw our FMC and her good friend into a time that isn't their own. Together they must navigate in this "new" world as they fight for survival and hide who they really are and when they came from. Is this a random supernatural phenomenon, or did destiny call to them both?

Even though our MMC is a strong protector type, our FMC says, "thanks, but I got this" and handles her own rescuing.

If you like romance, time travel and the Wild West, you will absolutely LOVE this book.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book, at first.
I’m not a traveler story reader as a rule. But this book was exciting!
Warren and Samantha’s close relationship is heart warming. Warren, would do anything to protect Samantha as if she were his daughter.
Trying not to reveal too much.
The adventures, challenges and relationships in this book were definitely ones that kept you reading.
You would definitely miss out if you don’t read this book!

4.5⭐️for me. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the fact it was a western time travel book. The adventures and obstacles the main characters had to endure kept the book interesting and fun. I liked how Sam and Warren had to figure out what needed to be done in order to get back to their time. Will look forward to reading other books from this author.
