Arielle has just discovered her boyfriend is cheating on her. She's unmoored and looking to avoid any interaction with him. Her brother offers for her to come with him while he expands his coffee franchise, and she jumps at the opportunity to clear her mind. She never expects to find a friend in the handsome, local recluse.

*****

This was an incredibly sweet, insta-love, age gap novella. The author bills herself as "clean and sweet" which I can absolutely get behind. I love heavy spice, but I also love YA, closed door, fade to black, all of it. The main issue with this trope for myself is when it's used to cover up a christian-style mindset. By that, I mean an obvious and large age gap/power disparity, immediate love, prompt desire for marriage, and babies. Unfortunately, this one does have that in spades, mostly from the MMC. If this isn't something that works for you, pass this one over!

If it is, and you love cheesy dialogue, banter, and meddling older brothers, in a cozy small-town environment - this one's for you.

Thank you to JP Sterling for providing a digital ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

This was a fun and sweet story! A few laugh out loud moments and two main characters who have been done wrong in the past and are not looking for any type of immediate romance. Yet it finds them anyway and they find themselves interested in each other very quickly. I thought that their banter was cute and that the way they communicated their interest in each other while also discussing the fact that El was probably leaving soon as a good sign of future healthy communication. This age gap, insta love story was completely clean. I enjoyed it.

Karaoke Cash-oke is a new app conceived by Portia ,her brother Christian’s fiancée it has Arielle Hanson confused and intrigued but it’s taking her mind off her recent split from her cheating boyfriend Tom. “Please just try it this one time and if you hate it, I won’t even ask again “ wow the thing doesn’t even mark you down for a wrong pitch ? She’s quickly hooked when she wins first time, okay it’s only amateur level and they’re not real diamonds in her pot but levelling up and making it to pro level you can win big prize money. That certainly does take her mind off the fact that she’s boyfriend-less. Christian is going on a road trip to Mapleton no less and Arielle tags long. They end up at a bookstore by the name of The Bookshelf with a coffee bar in it. Well that’s a wonderfully inviting name by itself. The owner Graham whose wife Elinora is expecting their first baby says maybe he is open to partnering with Christian for a Coffee Loft franchise .Well Arielle does suddenly feel at home free to roam the bookshelves galore and smell notes of coffee like she’s been here before. So whoever bought in would run the coffee bar. Looking around there’s mountain decor and more ,they sure would know where they are for sure. Arielle/El gets her way and sends Christian on his way while she gets to stay to take care of the Coffee Loft side of the Bookshelf.Stallone Hart ,now there’s a sweetheart ,if you didn’t know you was in the mountains just look at him. He has his own large cabin and his brother Ryson who works for him driving a truck , lives in a cabin nearby. Stallone has his own oversized trucks and hauls logs to the mill ,it’s how he makes his bucks. But just the now the snow set in so they’ve been stockpiling everything they chop until the roads dry up. Lucky his dog is in his element walking in the fresh mountain breeze with ease sniffing new scent. His master by his side sees that the town below covered in snow has blacked out ,no lamps aglow so clearly the power is gone so he knows just what needs to be done , take him a load of firewood to town to save the people from freezing. That will be pleasing. It’s here he meets a beautiful lady as the Bookshelf has itself its own power , a generator so they’re still in business . Arielle is staring in awe where the biggest ,burliest man with broad shoulders as wide as the door ,thick dark beard is heading her way. Love at first sight they say . I think in this case the adage is true. She can’t do coffee so she steeps him some tea leaves in hot water . Noticing the size of his hand is twice the size of her own ,his arms so round they’d make up the size of her ex Tom’s whole body she’s in awe ,he jaw hitting the floor once more. Trust Christian to spoil it grr. “I saw the way you were drooling over him . That’s the last thing you need ,some big old mountain man to break your heart while we’re here.”There’s a Coffee Loft franchise to man why can’t it be her does all she can to get it started for her brother when he departed? “I’m going to worry about you if I leave you here .” “I’ll be fine ,just let me take this time for myself.” Th man mountain is back “ Let me guess how you like your coffee.” “ Not with tea.” “ How about something sweet?” “ I like my coffee so strong my ancestors can taste it.” Well what a requisite and now she’s offering up a raspberry kiss. “ it’s our first coffee together and you’re already offering a kiss.” How cute is this? She will just have to take the risk of being broken hearted ,if it’s something that she will pursue. I wanted more and I was ok on that score there’s cute and endearing and a giggle or two . What could Arielle do wrong? This great author knows what to do to get you smiling from the very start and spins a tale about matters of the heart. Bravo , well written ,great storytelling too so of course I’m smitten. Thank you

Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew is J.P. Sterling’s newest rom-com novella set in fictional Mapleton, Vermont. The story is told in first person alternating POV from Arielle and Stallone. There are no sex scenes or profanity. This story is part of the Coffee Loft series, a set of interconnected stories from multiple authors, which can each be read as stand-alones.
Arielle “El” Hanson just turned 21 years old and is devastated because she discovered her boyfriend, Tom, cheating on her. She had dropped out of college and moved back home to Boston, working for her father’s cleaning business, in order to keep that relationship going. When she cries to her older brother, Christian, he offers to let her accompany him on an overnight business trip to Mapleton, Vermont. Christian was the hero in Pardon My French Press, another Coffee Loft book by this author.
Christian has a franchise agreement with Graham, the owner of the Bookshelf (and the hero in this author’s Kissed by My Billionaire Boss), to operate the coffee shop located inside his store. Graham’s wife is very pregnant, and he literally tosses his store key to Christian when she calls to announce that her water has broken. Christian is anxious to return to Long Island to be with his fiancée, Portia, but Arielle begs to stay for a week to get the coffee shop re-branded and have a soft opening for the locals. She is instantly attracted to the burly, bearded man who wants a cup of coffee but accepts tea when she can’t figure out how to turn Graham’s coffee machine on. There’s a lot of flirting and references to kisses.
35-year-old Stallone Hart is an introverted logger from a financially well-to-do family. He lives alone in a large house on his family’s property on a mountain above Mapleton. A year earlier, his fiancée, Lindsay, abandoned him just days prior to their wedding. He later discovered that she had reconnected with an old boyfriend. Now he is bitter towards women in general and lives like a hermit. He adopted a stray dog, Lucky, who is his faithful companion. He works with his extroverted, happy-go-lucky 30-year-old brother, Ryson.
El and Stallone are instantly attracted to each other, and he visits her each afternoon in the coffee shop right before closing time. One day he asks her out to dinner, bringing her a bouquet of pink roses and taking her to the fanciest restaurant in their small town. Unfortunately, El is participating in a karaoke contest and keeps disappearing when her phone app notifies her that she’s up for the next round. This makes for a lot of awkwardness, but Stallone is relieved when she reveals the reason for her bizarre behavior. There’s definitely instalove and the reader waits anxiously to find out if the irritating Nora Worley or El’s family will interfere in their blossoming relationship. Also El is scheduled to go back to Boston at the end of the week unless she convinces Christian to hire her as the Assistant Manager and let her rent the little apartment above the shop.
I struggled with Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew because El’s actions didn’t make any sense to me. I didn’t understand why she dropped out of college in order to be with her lawyer boyfriend and moved back home to Boston to work as a cleaner. If she was in a tiny town with no job opportunities, this might be her only option career-wise but she could take college classes online. In Boston she has many choices of jobs and colleges, so why work as a custodian? Secondly, she has no transportation or contacts other than Graham in Mapleton. Her decision to ride in his truck at night and run off into the forest (where she should have NO cellphone service) shows that she has no “street smarts”. Nora is presented as a crazy, stalkerish character, so it’s surprising that Stallone isn’t more cautious with El during that first week.
While I have described plot and character inconsistencies, the story is free of grammatical errors, profanity, and sexual references/scenes. I found Stallone’s POV to be more authentic than El’s., maybe due to his maturity. I really think that Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew could be made better with a little editing to make the overall story more realistic. This is a quick read to be enjoyed in a single day or weekend if you like instalove and age gap romances.

**** "If I mix these together, and add a little milk, you get something called a raspberry kiss." I hold my gaze steady on him and bite back a smile as he squirms in his seat, shifting from side to side. He doesn't disappoint, flirting right back. "It's our first coffee together, and you're already offering a kiss." He lets his direct eye contact linger.

Another winner in the Coffee Loft multi-author series, with J.P. Sterling's Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew! Ms. Sterling's explanation sums the expectations of this romance perfectly -- an instalove, age gap love story between two people—who both experienced the ultimate hurt—but find each other and discover that true love wins.

The town of Mapleton, Vermont is very picturesque. The way Ms. Sterling describes the location is very well written and does a wonderful job bringing the readers into the actual story. Stallone's home is something I would imagine in a magazine. I would've loved to see his home in person -- that view from his wraparound deck was dreamy!

The book opens up with Arielle (aka El), whose brother is Coffee Loft owner, Christian from Ms. Sterling's Pardon My French Press book, heartbroken and saddened about her most recent breakup. It wasn't just any ol mutual breakup, her trust was betrayed and turned out her ex-boyfriend had another girlfriend on the side. While trying to dig herself out of sadness and swearing to take a break from dating, her brother offered to let her come along, as a distraction for her, with him on a business trip in where he is planning on franchising The Coffee Loft in another location, Mapleton, Vermont. When you meet Stallone, you come to an understanding that although it had been around a year, he just hasn't quite gotten out of the bitter and hurt funk left from his ex-fiance breaking things off just days before their wedding.

I am not one to really like age-gap romances, partly because several authors I have read seem to constantly have to mention the age difference as if the reader would forget. I am one that I love the journey and depth of the relationship vs details like age. This story was not written that way and I very much enjoyed it! Arielle was the sweetest. She has a humble confidence, fun & quirky personality, stunning beauty and doesn't even realize it, and is someone I would love to be friends with. Stallone is definitely swoony - not just his looks but his charm and work ethic. He is absolutely the sweetest to Arielle and truly treated her like a queen she deserves to be treated. You knew you were rooting for these two to find their happily ever after together.

There was so much to love about this book -- a fit, burly mountain man (I mean how many swoony male leads have you read that are loggers?? Totally fun & unique) , the fun & flirty banter, solid music choices in karaoke fun and a dog called Lucky Nine Lives (Lucky for short ;) to name a few. You'll love this charming cozy, kisses only, clean language, "brew"-tiful mountain romance. I was not ready to be done with Stallone and Arielle's romance!!! I can only hope readers like me can eventually see an epilogue of these two to give more closure on their relationship (ie engagement or marriage <3 ).

I received an advanced copy of this book and all my thoughts and opinions are my own.

Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew by J.P. Sterling is the story of Arielle, who, after finding out her boyfriend cheated on her, gets the chance to travel with her brother to a small town in the hope she can get over the heartbreak.

From the first I really wondered how old (or young) Arielle was, because she left college to be with her boyfriend. She is a likable character, wise beyond her years, but also a bit of drama queen. When her brother Christian goes to a small town to implement a deal for a new Coffee Loft location, she jumps at that chance. Christian we all know from an earlier Coffee Loft book, Pardon My French Press, a novel I love. He now is the protective older brother and that was just so sweet. He also can’t stay away too long away from his girlfriend Portia, the one with the matchmaking app (read Pardon My French Press), and who now has made a whole new app and that app made for some very humorous situations. I loved how J.P. Sterling made him more approachable and normal.

When staying in the town Arielle meets Stallone, a rugged mountain man and there is an immediate attraction. Both have been hurt in the past, but their interactions become more than friendly.
The setting comes across very well, you can almost feel the cold and see the snow. The writing style with a dual POV is flowing and the book is lovely and relaxing to read. There are lots of funny moments and scenes in this book and I had a hard time putting the book down.

Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew is a great and cozy romantic read, a book I enjoyed reading a lot. I can absolutely recommend this book, as the other books in the Coffee Loft series. Each book is a standalone, so you can start with whatever book and/or plot you like. I know you will come to love these series as much as I do.

I feel like most of us have experienced heartache and if we have, did we face our big feelings or run away from them?!  Arielle (aka El) has left Boston and run to her brother in Long Island!  This is where our story begins…

El has come seeking comfort as her boyfriend, Tom, was not exactly the nice guy she thought he was, lying and cheating are very telling traits.  Thanks to her brother’s girlfriend, Portia, she has been given a temporary distraction with a new app, and her brother, Christian, letting her tag along to a business venture in Vermont!  While things in Vermont, didn’t completely go according to plan, El was able to strike a connection with a local who is more than happy to drink the tea she offers until they can get an operational coffee pot!

Stallone (yes, that is really his name), has been doing his best to keep himself and his dog, Lucky, removed from everything!  Mapleton, Vermont is still his home but in the last year experiencing some heartache of his own, taking a step back is what he has deemed best!   While on one of his early morning walks, he discovers the town has lost power and since his logging company can’t function with the road conditions, he travels down to help provide firewood for anyone who might need it!  So sweet!  While in town he goes to get a coffee, only to receive tea and a cheery smile from El!  He returns the next day because the woman’s smile and general pleasantries have given him a reaction he wasn’t expecting!

As the story unfolds, the burly mountain man and confused city girl realize that there might be something between more than just the heated the beverages!  This book while it mentions heartache, it’s the finding where you belong and who you surround yourself with that can make you feel the most loved!  There is something magical about that and I love how J.P. Sterling continues to interweave her various stories give you that sense of belonging even if it’s not a real place!  Job well done!

Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew by JP Sterling is a delightfully sweet age gap, insta-love, coffee filled romance just perfect for winter reading. This next installment of in the Coffee Loft Series is a fun and quick read with a tree-felling mountain man of a MMC and a FMC who is ready to find herself and where she belongs on her own.

Arielle's character starts this story as someone who has come from a recently ended relationship lost and adrift in the world and unsure of what her part is in it. Needing a break, she follows her brother to a small town where he's opening a new Coffee Loft location. Ready to try something new, she stays to run the coffee shop, and that's where the story really takes off!

I enjoyed this short romance and Stallone's character and how Arielle grew from a follower to someone who figured out what she wanted and what she wanted to do. Stallone and Arielle's story started with a sweet, coffee related meet-cute and grew into something that flourished between the two of them and brought a smile to my face. Yes, the pages are few in this short story/novella, so insta-love is prevalent, but JP Sterling writes it so well that the story is 100 percent enjoyable!

I am interested in reading more about Christian in his own book from her other books, he was a bit much to swallow in this story, but I know he has his own moment to shine and his behavior in this story came from wanting to protect his sister.

If you're looking for a fun, quick read submerged in coffee shops and closed-door romances, this is the story for you! JP Sterling has a way with words and weaving them together for a quality story in just a few pages!

Thank you, JP Sterling, for this copy for me to read and review honestly.

The first release in the 2025 Coffee Loft Series (3rd installment of the coffee loft series), it was a cute, cozy and quick read.

I loved this sweet novella, we meet Arielle, the young college drop out from Boston and Stallone the burly lumberjack living in a small town. While Arielle is dealing with a fresh break up because her boyfriend was cheating on her, Stallone is also getting over his (longer ago) breakup. Both characters have decided not to date, but when Stallone comes in to get a coffee where Arielle is temporarily working, she makes him a raspberry kiss, and they have some cute banter over her giving him a kiss when they just met. From there, they both can't stop thinking about each other. Even though this was a novella, you still get to know the two main characters well, and how they both progress from such a negative previous relationship.

I thought this story was so cute, I loved the big town girl coming and falling for a lumberjack, I mean who wouldn't! This is a closed door, age gap, sweet romance. This story makes you feel so cozy, and warm and makes you wish you were reading it by a warm fire while it is snowing outside.

Thank you to the author for a review copy of this book!

A great, clean and wholesome story, set in a small town.

I found this story adorable for most of the time.

The plot was nicely executed, and I enjoyed the different characters, their personalities and their interactions with each other.

Of course, our main characters, were the most likeable.

Arielle and Stallone’s relationship was extremely cute, filled with flirting, banter, and a good amount of love.

I was a big fan of both our main characters development when it came to the “never dating again” thing they both had going on.

The age gap between our main characters was a bit bigger than I had anticipated - not exactly a fan of big age gaps - but it was tolerable in this story. (Though I feel like Stallone sometimes acted a bit too young for his age).

There was at times certain words and phrases I didn’t like - the way Stallone described Arielle being young, talking about how little she was and the way he was practically dwarfing her wasn’t exactly my favorite parts lol (May also be because I loath the whole “I’m so little” narrative when it comes to stories)

Anyways, a good story nonetheless, with adorable characters, a great executed plot, and a good writing style.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I totally adored this short and sweet story of instalove, a great start to the Mountain Brew series of Coffee Loft stories. Take one rugged mountain logger and one fiesty barista and add a dash of karaoke and you’ve got Truly Madly Deeply Brew.

Both Arielle (El) and Stallone have been burnt by love before but there is an instant attraction between the two of them that neither of them can deny or even want to. Despite El’s brother Christian warning her away from Stallone, El spends more and more time with him during the week she’s running the coffee shop. Their first mini-date over coffee is rudely interrupted by Stallone’s gorgeous dog Lucky who is jealous of being left out of the attention and is also instantly smitten with El. Their first main date is almost a disaster but it turns into one of the funniest scenes in the book. After playing on a karaoke app all day, El is through to the last round and tries to find ways to excuse herself from the date to sing without telling Stallone. Stallone thinks his age puts her off, or she’s sick but finds out about the karaoke and instead of thinking her stupid or being offended, he helps her out as she doesn’t know the words to Truly, Madly, Deeply.

I loved the banter and connection between El and Stallone from the start, her tempting him with her (coffee) kisses and he was right there for it, flirting back with her. They fit well together despite their age difference and they sparked well in each other’s company.

I can’t wait for more of the Coffee Loft Mountain Brew, it’s a tasty concoction.

ARC Review⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to the author @authorjpsterling for the #gifted eARC.

The new season of Coffee Loft has arrived, and Mountain Brew is already serving up irresistible vibes! JP Sterling’s Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew is a cozy, romantic delight set in a snow-covered mountain town, complete with a hot lumberjack love interest that will warm even the coldest of hearts.

This age-gap romance is beautifully written and full of wholesome charm—one that I devoured in a single sitting. Sterling balances sweetness and romance perfectly, creating a story that feels like a warm hug in book form. I especially appreciated the return of a few familiar faces from the first Coffee Loft season, though newcomers can easily enjoy this as a standalone.

And let’s not forget that title—an instant win for me! As a longtime Savage Garden fan, it brought back all the nostalgia. If you love a quick, heartfelt romance with a scenic mountain backdrop, this one’s a must-read. I can’t wait for more Mountain Brew stories!

Quote: “If I win,” I lower my voice into a low rasp, “I get to kiss you like you’re my girlfriend.”

It is always fun to get back into The Coffee Loft. You never know who you might meet or what might be in store.

Arielle is nursing a broken heart. Her brother, Christian, (from Pardon My French Press if you want to know more about his HEA) is looking to start another store in Mapleton. She decides to tag along to get out of town and out of her own head. This snow covered town surprises Arielle, but what is more surprising is the town's lumberjack, Stallone. Yes, that's right a lumberjack. I just loved it. Stallone is very mysterious and very private, which makes him even more enticing than his bulging arm muscles.

I belly laughed so many times reading this book. The karaoke app was pure genius on the part of this author. You will have to read the book to more fully understand the app. These scenes are priceless. The unexpected budding romance between what would seem to be two people who are opposites, as well as two people who are nursing a broken heart will make you smile and laugh. All you need is a hot drink and a blanket while you enjoy this heartwarming, funny romance.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

just like the song

Sweet, clean, uncomplicated with all the swoons! Just like the Savage Garden song it’s named after. This little story is Truly, madly, deeply romantic.
Two people who make a connection neither one of them expected, much less was ready for. The sweetest part of their relationship is how they bring out the best in each other.
That is a healthy relationship!

Both were ready and poised for that “next level” with a partner that they had invested their entire souls into when the rug was pulled out from under them. Him a year ago, her just days ago (but from the conversation with her brother and his fiancé I’d say she knew for a lot longer just didn’t have the proof to back up the feelings yet). Both were “done” with expending the energy it takes to “put yourself out there”.

Then these two meet. So freaking sweet! I loved it!!

There is an age gap. It didn’t bother either of them and It didn’t bother me either…although my daughter had definite opinions (which made me laugh). It’s well done. He isn’t taking advantage. She is an adult. Their relationship is healthy.
It’s just a sweet, clean short story…melts your heart- just like the song.

This was an easy choice to read, I haven't come across a book by J.P. that I haven't instantly loved. With a new season of Coffee Loft books this is Arielle and Stallone's story. When El confirms what she has thought she knew that her boyfriend was cheating on her the only thing she could do was take off to spend time with her brother. When he tells her his going to see a new addition to his successful Coffee Loft, she instantly go's with him it's the perfect space she needs. Stallone is a man who loves his own space. Since his ex walked away from their wedding with no reason he has sworn off relationships. Working a his logging company with his brother keeps him distracted as much as possible. That is until he walks into the coffee shop and walks out with a tea. Who is she and when did she get into town. This starts an hilarious series of dates some with hilariously funny outcomes. Come these two opposites help heal each other, or will El's brother force her to go back to the city. I loved everything about this book and its a great start to the new season on books. I'm excited to read more in this series

A Delightful Read.
Arielle is heartbroken and upset when she finds her boyfriend cheating on her.
Arielle decides to go with her brother to open a new coffee shop franchise.
When Stallone goes to get coffee, he is greeted by this chipper young gal. He is a bit upset as the coffee maker is broke, but she makes him a sweet kiss tea. Stallone is not a tea drinker, but it changes his mind.
Stallone keeps going back, and his grumpy mood seems to change.
Arielle finds that this little town is so friendly and so welcoming.
Arielle somehow forgets all the bad she was feeling and enjoys spending time getting to know Stallone.
When Arielle accepts a date with Stallone, she must sneak out to compete in a karaoke challenge. Stallone thinks she is sick, but she proves at the end of the night. Stallone really is unlike anyone she has ever met before.
These two have a chemistry that is so deep and they are perfect together.
These two both have been hurt by love, yet it feels like they are both falling hard and fast for each other.

Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew was both short and sweet! In just over 100 pages, El goes from heartbroken to hopeful again. These characters are true people with full ranges of emotions. There was definitely a possibility for more about them, and I’m glad there’s more of their world in some of J.P. Sterling’s other books!

The setting of Mapleton, Vermont is the perfect place for a wintery love story. This book is tender and sweet, with no spice, making it for a quick and lighthearted read. In many ways this book is as warm as the hot tea that El dishes out to Stallone!

If you’re looking for the perfect easy read for a cold winter day, this book has you covered! Hopefully the snow won’t get you the way it gets these characters… but if it does, you would be more than prepared with these cozy and happy vibes.

Thank you to Victory Editing NetGalley Co-op for the opportunity to read and review this book! I received a free advance copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review. All opinions expressed are my own.

❄️☕ Truly, Madly, Steeply, Brew by J.P. Sterling delivers all the warm, Hallmark-movie vibes we love!
Set in a picturesque fictional town of Mapleton Vermont, this sweet romance tells the story of Stallone, a bearded logger with a quiet strength and a broken heart, and El, a fiery barista with plenty of sass. Their chemistry is instant and electric—playful banter, cozy coffee shop moments, and those coffee kisses had me hooked! 😉

What I loved most was how natural their connection felt. The story beautifully captures that magical moment when you meet someone who just gets you—no pretense, just genuine sparks. Stallone stole my heart with his charm, and El’s resilience and wit made her such a relatable heroine.
The setting is reminiscent of the inviting small towns in Hallmark movies, with a snowy backdrop that makes you want to stay wrapped up in the story all day long.

If you’re a fan of:
❄️ Age-gap romance
❄️ Instalove
❄️ Flirty banter
❄️ Healing from heartbreak
❄️ Cozy mountain vibes
...then you’ll want to add this to your TBR pile immediately!

Just finished reading an advanced copy of a book that was just released on January 8th called, Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew. This was the sweetest, cutest, romcom! This was a short, quick read while still having a good backstory on the main characters. This was about Arielle who is getting over a breakup and decides to travel with her brother while he closes the deal on a new coffee shop location. As she is getting to know the town and people, one guy catches her eye, Stallone. So when her and her brother get snowed in and they can't get back home, she offers to help with the coffee shop, and realizes she finally feels happy for the first time in a while. And a good bit of that new found happiness is thanks to a particular flannel wearing customer who told her he isn't looking for a relationship, but he just keeps coming back to see her. This was a story about giving love another chance after heartbreak. It was such a cute and fun read! I really enjoyed it! 🩵📚

Thank you to the author and to the publisher for this ARC of Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew, in exchange for an honest review.

ARC REVIEW:

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fans of the Coffee Loft Series rejoice! The multi-author series is back once again. This time they have teamed up to give readers a winter collection centering around the Mountain Brew.

J. P. Sterling’s Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew kicks off the series. It follows the insta love story of Arielle (El) and Stallone. When the two meet, they are still healing from their past relationships. Despite love being the last thing on their mind, they can’t help but fall for one another. Will the timing be too much to overcome, or will it prove that love can survive anything.

This is such a cute and cozy read. The quick pacing and comedic aspects had me flying through the story. I highly recommend this standalone, sweet romcom for those looking to squeeze in a last minute winter read.

This book also features:
-the small town of Mapleton, Virginia
- insta love
-14 year age gap
-flirty banter
-lots of karaoke

Special thanks to Netgalley, Victoria Editing, and J. P. Sterling for allowing me to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew is part of the Coffee Loft Series: Mountain Brew collection- a multi-author series of standalone romances, all featuring mountain men and a Coffee Loft shop. This particular book is connected to Pardon My French Press (Arielle is Christian's sister and he does make an appearance) but again could absolutely be enjoyed as a standalone.

I've enjoyed the previous Coffee Loft collections with all their cozy romance vibes... but throwing in some mountain men too!? Yes, please... I was very much looking forward to this most recent addition. And it absolutely did not disappoint. Both Arielle and Stallone have been hurt in previous relationships (hers very recently, being what prompted her to leave town with her brother where she meets Stallone), and as such were hesitant about starting up anything new. Of course, as romance readers we know what that means, right? These two had such a great instant chemistry. It was quick and easy, and I couldn't help but love them together. While I know instalove isn't everyone's cup of tea, I personally love it and thought the quick romance worked well for these two! This was a sweet read that kept me smiling throughout.

Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew is a closed-door romance with kisses only and no language.

Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

After discovering her boyfriend cheating on her, Arielle needs a change in her life. When her brother offers her a chance to come with him to open up his new coffee shop, she accepts. She never expects she would make a friend, especially with the handsome local grump, or fall in love with the feel of a small town, but she does. Now she must decide if she’s going to stay or return back home.

This was such a great novella in the Coffee Loft Mountain Brew series. I love the description of the small town and the people in it. The two main characters are great. I loved Arielle’s quirky personality, and her sweet self. Stallone may seem like a grump but he’s really a cinnamon roll at heart and I love the way he protects Arielle and shows her what she’s worth. You can’t help but love their chemistry and banter. I enjoyed that this was a closed door, clean language romance. It gives you all the cozy feels. This is the first book that I have read by this author, but it will not be my last!

Thank you to author J.P. Sterling for my advance readers copy. This is my honest and voluntary opinion.

Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew by JP Sterling
📚ARC Review📚
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is a cozy, heartwarming novella that’s perfect for curling up with on a winter day. El and Stallone are two brokenhearted souls who have given up on love—until they meet and instantly connect. Stallone, a burly, bearded logger, is completely smitten by El’s charm and coffee-making skills. As a coffee lover myself, I couldn’t help but adore this aspect of the story—coffee truly is the love language here, for both Stallone and me!

If you’re looking for a quick, sweet, and steamy-in-their-own-way read, Truly, Madly, Steeply Brew will warm your heart as much as your favorite cup of coffee.

Read this clean romance if you enjoy:
❄️Age-gap relationships
❄️Instalove
❄️Shameless flirting
❄️Emotional healing from heartbreak
❄️Bearded, rugged heroes

Thank you to JP Sterling for providing a digital ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Is a sweet insta love, age gap, Rom-Com with no cliffhanger.
Some of the lines I really like ---- “I’m detecting a pattern where you always run away from your problems.” ---- “The only time I’ve ever gotten decaf coffee to work for me is the time I threw it at my brother.”---- “Who else is enjoying your kisses?” ---- “Well, for the coffee-flavored kisses, I’ve actually saved that recipe for you," --- “If you speak dog, can you tell him it’s rude to stare?" ---- ---- “I’m not the one drooling all over the window trying to get to you.” ---- "I’m the ultimate Karaoke Cash-oke champion.” ---l- “You started it days ago with your sweet kiss coffee.” ---- “One thing I’ve learned in life is sometimes you have to take chances.” ----
What's Nora up to? What's Christian up to? These and other questions will all be answered.
I loved Arielle and Stallone's story and I'm sure you will too. I've loved everyone of her books that I've read and can't wait to read her next book.

sweet mountain romance

This story is the yummiest morsel of a sweet mountain brew. Just like the tasty cups of coffee brewed up in the coffee loft stores, this story is so sweet it will leave a smile on your face.
Arielle just found out that her boyfriend hasn’t only been cheating, but that she was the other woman. This is the problem with dating guys from work: the breakup can be incredibly embarrassing as well as heartbreaking. So she goes to visit her brother to escape her work for a little bit.
Her brother is looking to invest in a new location to expand his Coffee Loft business, so he invites her along for the trip. Caught in a snowstorm, Arielle meets Stallone and sparks fly.
Both Stallone and Arielle are dealing with heartbreak, and their flirtation has an expiration date of one week. Will they be able to move past their own distrust of dating? How far can they even fall in one week?
Come along for the ride as these two get to know each other.

This book is part of the Coffee Loft series, but each one can be read as a standalone.

We follow Arielle, who is fresh off a breakup and ends up in Mapleton with her brother, Christian. There, she meets Stallone, who is also nursing a broken heart. In true rom-com fashion, their chemistry is instant. I absolutely loved their flirtatious banter, and it was so fun how Arielle kept coming up with new drink names for him at the coffee shop. Also, I completely agree—tea is no substitute for coffee… ever!

The axe-throwing date sounded so fun and the random karaoke game was adorable. I also loved how Lucky immediately fell for Arielle and kept coming to find her. !My only complaint is that I wish Arielle had stood up to Christian sooner. She’s grown and capable of making her own decisions without his judgment.

Overall, I really enjoyed this book! Even though I’m a little late to the party, I’m excited to read the rest of the series.

Pardon My French Press was the first book by J. P. Sterling that I read as part of the original Coffee Loft series. Arielle, Christian, and Portia were in that book and I was excited to see them back in this book, especially because Arielle was finally getting her story. I loved it even more when I found out this book took place in Mapleton, Vermont, which was the setting of another book, Kissed By My Billionaire Boss, and Graham was in this one too! When I read that book, I had been thinking the bookstore coffee shop that Graham owned would make a perfect Coffee Loft so this links the books together beautifully. Arielle and Stallone are so sweet together, and even though they had both been through heartbreak before and were apprehensive about relationships, they felt an immediate connection. There were so many funny, tender, and romantic moments throughout the story and I’m so happy they got their happy ending!
