The mysteries were compelling but Nunes uses a lot of d descriptive details and many dialogues that go on and have no direct impact on the story. Five stories in this collection. The first one “ The Lost Relic “ was worth the cost by itself.
I found the stories included in this column to be pretty close to the canon. Holmes is up to his usual great problem solving even though one mystery concluded to less than his entire satisfaction. This book is worth picking up if you’re a Holmes & Watson fan. Looking forward to reading more from Mr. Nunes.
I love reading Sherlock Holmes books. but….This book was a real disappointment. I didn’t like how he changed the Sherlock and Watson characters. Nothing bad…just a disappointment.
