Norah is a 37-year-old editor for City Women magazine and looking for a story. Ian is a 25-year-old photographer and influencer. After a disastrous solo camping trip that ends in instant chemistry neither of them can forget, can Ian convince Norah to travel with him and his dog, Rikki, for a month? Will Norah find something other than a story with Ian?
I don't like my romance novels to be too gooey, too lovey, too dark, too much into BDSM, or too predictable. However, Moore brought a fresh and flirty perspective mixing a little bit of dark romance into a Hallmark or Lifetime movie vibe. When you take an older woman, feeling insecure about herself, her solitude, and allow her deepest and darkest fantasies to be lived out with a younger, hot guy who's infatuated with her? Isn't that everyone's secret wish? To be craved? To be wanted? To be adored? Well, I felt that way about Wanderlust. It was a quick read and had me wanting to read continuously seeing what the main characters would get into next. I knew where I wanted it to end, but wasn't sure until the final pages if that was going to happen or not. There was a nice subtle humor and the banter between the characters was relatable and realistic. I appreciated the romance scenes; not too outlandish or over the top or vulgar. They were written tastefully with a little bit of fire. So I wouldn't call this smut by most standards. It was just pure, enjoyable, romantic, sexy, spicy fun! I cannot wait to read the other books in this series that she releases. Lemon is ready to go right now.
Norah and Ian's love story had everything you could ever want in a romance! Spice 🔥🔥🔥, all the emotions, obsession, and dirty talking man, loveable side characters (and a dog!), primal kink and a mask too 😍
And don’t get me started on how both of them were willing to sacrifice everything for one another ... sigh 🥹🖤
Both characters were just chef's kiss and had me in my feels throughout the entire book.
So if you love romance, the wilderness, camping, and two people who are just SO perfect for each other–run, don’t walk to grab your copy of Wanderlust!
