Really interesting angle into the Myanmar civil war and the country’s turbulent history and protest movements. A wonderful tribute to some very brave activists and talented poets in the country

The book focuses on five young Myanmar poets whose lives were upended in different ways by the military coup on 1 February 2021. The stories cover similar periods in the lead up to and the aftermath of the coup providing different perspectives of the events and how they each responded. An inspiring and heart-wrenching account of how these young people ditched their comfortable lives to join dangerous protests, form armed groups, and emerge at the front lines of resistance
The book is well written and includes selected poems as well as drawings and photos.

Está interesante porque aprendin moito da historia de Birmania pero a forma de escribir deixa bastante que desexar. Parece que se esqueceron que estaban escribindo un libro e non unha reportaxe.

É unha pena porque sinto que se desperdiciou esta historia tan boa.
