Writing has always been a big part of my life. Since I was a child I've known exactly where my passion lay.
No matter what's gone on in my life writing has been my touchstone. After all, we all need a place to escape to.

I have a feeling that's something all at Goodreads can identify with.

Thanks for taking the time with me today. Now do something for yourself, go and curl up in your own reading heaven.

This book started off with 5 stars, but as I continued reading, the stars kept dropping, mostly because of the heroine. The story starts off with the Ginger's husband, Shane, crashing her would be wedding to her fiancé, Calvin. Over the course of the book we find out that Ginger was thrown overboard during a cruise and lost her memory as a result. We also find out that she was pregnant at the time, but with no memory, she has no idea who the father is. Calvin is the one to find Ginger and gets her help, and they begin a relationship during that time. What really angered me about this heroine is that, she stupidly lets herself be isolated from the world by Calvin and his family. She has no friends, no phone or computer, no job, and no financial independence whatsoever. The heroine gives birth to her son, Cameron, but like a complete moron, she lets Calvin talk her into never trying to at least find her own family or even the father of her child.

When Shane arrives after searching for 16 months, we find out that he's a billionaire and that's when Calvin decides to draw up divorce papers with a hefty settlement and child support, without Ginger's knowledge. When Ginger finds out, rather than be pissed at Calvin for overstepping, she gets mad at Shane, because he didn't divulge that he was a billionaire. One thing leads to another, and we find out that Calvin knew who she was all along and hid her on purpose, so he could get a share of the divorce settlement. When Shane tells her this, she doesn't even entertain the thought, and she refuses to believe him. That's when she actively starts kissing and touching Calvin, rather than trying to rebuild her relationship with her husband. Ginger seemed to care more about Calvin's feelings than her own husband's, even when she started to get some of her memory back. The story could have been amazing if only the heroine would've had half a brain, the two stars this book gets, are solely for Cameron and Shane, cause they were awesome.

Ps: Hero was celibate for 16 months, heroine gave blowjobs to her fiancé and continued to kiss him and be affectionate with him after finding out she has a husband.

This was baaaaaaaaaaaaad ! I don't mean the writing . But the way the story was shaping , the directions it was taking . The decisions the characters were making especially , Claire/Ginger . She was just so darn frustrating . I get that you are going through a amnesiac phase of your life . I get that you've made a new life around you in those sixteen months . And that you have a new man that you are going to marry , and a new family and new plans . But for the love of all that is holy , how can you act indifferent and aloof when a man who claims to be your husband walks in to your life , gives you proof time and again that you guys had something wonderful , has people who back him up - one of those men is your freaking brother for god's sake - is the father of your child but still ... still you back up this new guy .

Are you for real right now ... ?!!?!?!

I'm not saying that you need to drop everything and go back to your old life . But woman , some consideration for your husband would be a nice thing . Always picking Calvin ( the new guy ) over Shane was getting tedious . How the hell do you expect to figure things about your old life if you keep pushing him away . How do you fill the missing gaps in your memory if you take your current flames word over your husbands .

Most of her questions and doubts didn't make sense . Some of the things that she did - like calling Shane's ( her husband ) business partner , a woman named Julianna to the lodge where these guys were holed trying to figure things out . Like hello babe , what are you trying to do here ???

The story was frustrating to read , and I just wanted to DNF it at one point . After that it was just me skimming through to see how frustrating times two it would get . It did get better later on , but I had already given myself a headache with all the stupidness .

Scarlett Finn has written some intriguing stories , sadly this wasn't one of them .

I'm dnf-ing at 25% of the book. It's so bad, the heroine not only lost her memory but also her brain along the way, she's just so stupid. Would you really let your little boy (who likes to hit people and apparently that's funny?) around a guy you know nothing about? I don't want to completely bash this book, because someone might like it and I'm angry at the h, but the book is full of inconsistencies and I haven't even read half of it, so I think it's time to move on.

PS: I've read some reviews and it doesn't get better.

First book I've read by this author and I really really loved it! I got hooked from the get go. The blurb caught my eye and it's met every expectation I've had and more. I loved it. The drama, the angst, the testosterone, declarations of love and of course, the family vibes! It was awesome. Though I think the ending could have been a bit better, I loved it!

This is the first book I've read by this author. I was intrigued by the opening when the wedding is stopped and wondered how this whole confusion would be resolved. However you will have to sidestep reality while reading this.
It is well written, paced and the characters are interesting. The hero is to die for, but the heroine and her initial choices that she stubbornly clings to given evidence otherwise displays sheer stupidity and disappoints.

I was starting to wonder if Ginger was drugged and brain washed.
But as incredible as it seems, I've met some equally stupid people in life and thankfully our encounters have been brief.

I look forward to reading more by this author, and hope that the Ginger character was an aberration, as I have no patience for stupidity.

4 stars are quite a high rating for me, and I can only justify it as the story kept my interest, was a bit different and well paced. I must be in a generous mood.

An amazing story!

Wow! Remember When is an amazing story from Scarlett Finn. Claire is about to marry Calvin the guy who found her at the side of the road sixteen months ago, that is until a man turns up at the church claiming to be her husband Shane, only she has no recollection of this stranger or her previous life.
This book is brilliant, it's thrilling, exciting and full of surprises as Claire/Ginger starts to piece her past life together whilst struggling to keep the peace between her fiance Calvin and the hard to resist sexy stranger Shane. With secrets and lies being discovered Ginger doesn't know who she can trust.
I absolutely loved Shane and Ginger as well as Murphy and Owen they're all great characters in what is an excellent read. I absolutely recommend it you won't be disappointed.

I absolutely loved Remember When! It's a beautifully written love story with mystery, funny dialogue and some steamy romance. The main characters, Shane and Ginger are well developed and their interaction with each other is great. The very lovable side characters Cam, Murphy, Owen and Rocky were some of my favorite parts of this story. This book definitely had me wanting more of everyone's story!!

Great storytelling

The dreaded question at your wedding"does any person's know if any reason why these two people cannot be joined etc etc" imagine then when a booming voice announces that you are already married and to him! So beginnings the intriguing story of ginger suffering amnesia and ready to marry her saviour, this tale has everything, tension, humour, sex and twists, it keeps you guessing which way it will end right til the last, fantastic read well worth a look.

Where can I find a Shane

I got to read the first couple of chapters of this book and fell in love with Shane and Ginger and even Cam & Rocky. I pre-ordered this one because I love Scarlett's books. This one is different from what she normally writes, she got me hooked after the first chapter.

Sweet

Wow a Scarlett Finn book that's sweet. No explicit sex but strong characters and a good story. Unfortunately some minor editing issues. As a reader you do have to look past them

I am i love with Shane!!!

This is a story that I will read over and over. Shane is now one of my top book boyfriends. His patience and understanding with Ginger will have you swooning. Ginger is one tough woman with everything that she is going through. Calvin, he is at the top of the Men I Want To Punch in the Face!! This story will have you begging for more. I want so much more of this story, I want glimpses into the future. The side characters are just as important as the main. Scarlett has knocked it out of the park once again. This storyline was unlike anything else I have read. Who doesn't love a wedding getting busted up. Oh, and the surprise for Shane, just you wait, you'll fall in love again.
