Being the eldest Gardener daughter means constantly balancing my Omega nature with society’s relentless expectations. I'm the golden child, the overachiever, and when it comes to finding a mate, I won’t settle for anything less than perfect.

I can’t.

Luckily, during this spring’s mating season, I catch the attention of the Council Monarch, and suddenly, I'm the hottest topic on social media. Just when things seem to be falling into place, in walks Stephan Ashford—famous actor and devastatingly charming lone Alpha. His scandalous past and refusal to claim an Omega makes him the most eligible—and unattainable—Alpha of the season, but he’s just what I need.

To get people talking, Stephan and I agree to a fake relationship. For him, it keeps his rabid fans at bay; for me, it brings more potential mates to my door. But as our connection deepens, something far more dangerous simmers beneath the surface.

Now, we’re caught in a war between our own primal instincts and the dark secrets we carry. It could implode all around us—or lead us straight into each other’s arms.

Violet is a part of the Omegas in Bloom series. It is a modern Bridgerton retelling based in a contemporary omegaverse world, and it will end with the female main character having only one love interest.

Okay Bridgerton fans this one is for you!!
This was exactly what I needed and I binged read it!

This is a Royal MF Omegaverse and I loved it so much because it reminded me of season one of Bridgerton (hello Regé-Jean Page 😍🫠)

Violet has this expectation to be the perfect daughter and too act a certain way, and even find a Mate suitable for the family status
Stephan is quiet and brooding and quite frankly not what her family wants.
Violet sits and notices and questions things in an act of quiet rebellion and I just love her character so much!

Watching them interact and dance around each other while “fake dating” was just amazing! I love this world and these characters and I CANNOT wait for more!

I was beyond lucky to ARC read this!

I know from the blurb that it's based loosely on Brigerton but I got Pride and Prejudice vibes too. Violet (FMC) is the oldest Omega daughter in the Gardener family and has to make a good match to secure her sister's futures. Violet is a quiet Omega that suffers from anxieties that stem from social situations. So when she becomes the focus of everyone's attention by becoming the Luxe Omega (an Omega everyone aspires too). She finds support in an unlikely place Alpha Actor - Stephan. They come to an agreement to help each other out. Only for things to get complicated for both of them when history, secrets and lies to get in their way. An enjoyable read with characters I really liked I can't wait to get my hands on the other books in this series now.

I wasn’t sure if I would like this book, but I actually liked it a lot. Violet is a shy Omega that is the Luxe of the season and she doesn’t like attention. She just wants to have a mate and lots of babies. Then there is Asher…er Stephan who is a playboy actor who hides his true self because of his past losses. I enjoyed reading the book and loved the characters. Rue made me laugh the fearless girl and her brother Heath takes no crap and is doing so much to hold his family together after their dad died. I am excited to read the rest of the books in this series and I am waiting for them all to hopefully have HEA.

Great series starter

Violet is a strong Omega who gives and gives. Stephen is an Alpha who is used to getting his way. Together they find a new way to make it work. Great story with a Queen Bee to make life even more interesting.

"I can’t stop. I don’t want to stop. She’s in my blood, in me."

I totally loooove Brooke Harper's books, but this has to be my new, ultimate favorite series from her. I've been missing Bridgerton like crazy lately and this inspired, retelling literally hit the spot. Imagine an Omegaverse version, with elements of high society and modern-day technology. I found Violet to be super relatable, with her anxiety episodes, the love she has for her family. Asher/Stephen, reminded me a little of Mr. Darcy, from Pride and Prejudice. I totally loved this series and can't wait for Iris' story!

A thoroughly entertaining, emotional and spicy story as Violet goes in search of a perfect Alpha to support her family. She meets Stephan, an Alpha movie star, who doesn't want a mate. I loved the mating season, the Queen Bee keeping watch and all the intrigue. Stephan and Violet's fake relationship grows into more but with plenty of drama, secrets and anxiety. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Imagine Bridgerton meets wolf shifters in modern times—Violet by Brooke Harper delivers just that, blending omegaverse dynamics with high society courtship and political intrigue. This M/F omegaverse story takes a unique approach, deviating from the more common reverse harem trope, and instead, centers around an engaging slow-burn romance with plenty of twists.
The novel follows our FMC, Violet, who faces immense pressure as the eldest daughter of the Gardener family. Following her father’s death, their status has fallen, and the burden to restore their family's name rests heavily on her shoulders. She must secure a mate not just for herself, but to ensure advantageous matches for her four younger sisters. Then we have our MMC, Stephan—infamous, reckless, and entirely uninterested in a mate. However, when he's forced into the mating season, he strikes a deal with Violet: a fake courtship to appease expectations. But as their arrangement unfolds, genuine feelings start to surface, even as secrets, political machinations, and an anonymous scandalous blogger known as Queen Bee complicate matters.
One of the highlights of Violet is the Luxe competition—a contest where the monarch, Sabrine, will choose a contender from the season for a prestigious position. This adds an unexpected layer of stakes, and while Violet wants nothing more than to find a suitable mate and stay out of the limelight, she finds herself unwillingly drawn into the spotlight.
The dynamics between Violet and Stephan are electric. While Stephan is initially hard-edged and resistant, we see glimpses of a gentler, more complex side that makes him an intriguing character. However, he wasn’t my favorite—his brooding, at times, felt a little too self-indulgent compared to Violet’s more duty-driven personality. That being said, their chemistry is undeniable, and Brooke Harper masterfully sprinkles in moments that make you root for them:
“And in that moment, with my feet off the ground and fireflies twinkling like earthly stars all around us, I think I can do this. Because…because I’m pretty sure I’m falling for him.”
Aside from the romance, the novel shines in its rich cast of side characters. Violet’s family is a delight, particularly Rue, who provides wit and levity. The mysterious Queen Bee blogger adds a fun, Gossip Girl-esque element to the story, with each chapter opening with tantalizing tidbits that had me hooked.
The political maneuvering within the omegaverse hierarchy adds depth to the plot, and Sabrine, the monarch, is a standout character. She begins as a seemingly manipulative force but gradually becomes more intriguing as her true motives unfold.
The writing style is immersive, and the worldbuilding is well-crafted, making it easy to get lost in the opulence, duty, and intrigue of the season. There’s plenty of emotional depth, exploring themes of fate, obligation, and self-discovery alongside the romance.
Final Thoughts: Overall, Violet was an enjoyable read with an engaging plot and strong character dynamics. While I wasn’t overly keen on Stephan, the story’s intrigue, family dynamics, and slow-burning romance kept me invested. The mix of politics, mystery, and romance made for a compelling read, and I’m definitely looking forward to the books about Violet’s sisters!
Would recommend to fans of omegaverse, political romance, and slow-burn love stories with a twist of high society drama.

Please be aware there are potential triggers,

I liked this book! No...I LOVED this book! So much rests on Violet's shoulders, this being her first season is daunting enough but her entire performance during the season will pave the way for a better match for her sisters, if she can pull it off.... if she gets chosen as "top dog", the status of her 4 sisters will be elevated. But, right now, the situation is dire. With the death of their father a year ago, things devolved, their status fell, their standing almost shunned by the rest of Sabine. Their poor brother Heath has to try pull them out of depth so he's delayed his looking for a mate so yes, ALL rests on Violet. What a gregarious bunch of girls the Gardener family is! I especially adored Rue, who tells it as it is, who isn't afraid of stirring the pot.

So with the monarch looking to name a contender from the season as her Luxe, a special position of acknowledgement and status, Violet is more than horrified to be on the list. Heck, all she wants is to find a suitable mate for the sake of her family, she really doesn't want to be in the spotlight. I was surprised that I got to like the monarch Sabrine, she grew on me slowly but surely. Although, I was dying to know the scoop on her AND on Stephan and why the heck monarch was pushing Stephan and what Stephen's major secret was, and...yeah, this is precisely what Ms Harper does to my senses, she sprinkles all the delicious scents my way and I find I'm following her every move, her every word, like a panting puppy!

Compounded is there's a a blogger called Queen Bee who's Identity is unknown, throwing all sorts of innuendos and titbits, which Pru is lapping up big time! I loved seeing the "blog" at the start of each chapter, it was almost as though I was hooked on a reality show for real. But I was hooked, not on Queen Bee as Pru was but I was hooked by Violet, I was hooked by Stephen. Neither wanting the fanfare, neither wanting to attend the season, both do, for very different reasons. Violet; anxious, kind, sweet, accommodating, dutiful, responsible, Stephen; famous, hard arsed, hard drinking, hard messing around with starlets but a gentle soul. Unlikely as they come but fate has a different idea...

I absolutely loved these two! Oh heck, I loved the ENTIRE cast! Brooke's characters hold their own from start to finish, each one distinctive. This author captures my imagination with effortless writing style, I could be part of the team, that's how familiar this characters feel. And lordie are there lots of feels! From Violet to Stephen and the pre conceived notions of others, to a VERY manipulative monarch, to the bi*tchness of some. I adored Ren, she, like Rue, tells it as it is. The plot had real depth, it wasn't only awesomely spicy, it showcases what one will do in the name of duty, it showcases how pointless it is to fight fate, it uncovers painful secrets and exposes lies. But best of all, is the magnificent romance that neither Violet nor Stephen wanted, just delicious!

Ms Harper outdid herself with this book. I was engrossed and completely spellbound throughout. Well written and her handling of anxiety was delicate, respectful and sensitive. This author took me on an emotional journey of discovery I honestly didn't want to end!

Thoughts:
This was closer to a traditional romance, almost like the society of a historical romance, but with modern technology set in a fictional world. The addition of a Whistledown type Stitch app was a nice add to the story. The book had a bit of fantasy by using the structure of an Omegaverse in that there were designations, scents, mating bites, heats, alpha commands and ‘Knotting’. I found the book quite romantic and fun overall.

I thought the added touch around her anxiety was great and added depth to Violet ‘s character. I especially liked the sass and spirit she seems to have when her and Stephan are alone together.I hope like Julia Quinn, Brooke writes about the other siblings. I’d love to read about Heath or even Iris story, as she was my favourite sister. Rue the 14 yr old sister was hilarious and so cute.

If you’re a Bridgerton fan, then you’re in for a treat with Violet by Brooke Harper! This Royal Omegaverse romance takes everything you love about high society courtships, political drama, and sizzling slow-burn romance, and adds a supernatural twist—wolf shifters, anyone? It’s everything I didn’t know I needed, and as soon as I started reading, I was hooked.

This story is a breath of fresh air in the Omegaverse genre. Violet stands out by moving away from the typical reverse harem trope, offering a focused and emotionally charged romance instead. The book follows Violet Gardener, the eldest daughter of the once-powerful Gardener family, now struggling to reclaim their fallen status. With her father’s death looming over her family, the weight of securing not only her own future but also advantageous matches for her four younger sisters rests on her shoulders. And the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Then enters Stephan. He’s the kind of man who’s shut off from the world—jaded, guarded, and running from his past. But the pull between him and Violet is undeniable. Their slow-burn connection is equal parts intense and heartbreaking. Watching them circle each other, both trying to resist what’s blossoming between them, is nothing short of emotional.

When Stephan is forced into mating season, he strikes a deal with Violet—a fake courtship that will appease both their families’ expectations. But as the arrangement progresses, the lines between pretend and real start to blur, leading to unexpected feelings, sizzling tension, and a web of secrets and political games. And let's not forget the mysterious Queen Bee, an anonymous blogger stirring the pot with scandalous gossip about the season’s events. I’m on the edge of my seat, eager to see if we’ll finally uncover Queen Bee’s identity in the next book (and hopefully, some of the other characters get their own happily-ever-afters)!

Violet is an engaging blend of romance, suspense, and political intrigue. Brooke Harper has created a world where every page is filled with twists and turns that will keep you guessing and falling deeper into the characters’ lives.

As always, my reviews are my own opinions and completely voluntary—no monetary compensation was received.

Let’s be honest—Violet is basically season one of Bridgerton with an omegaverse filter. And this omegaverse doesn’t do anything wildly new either. It just sticks close to the formula and rolls with it.
Surprisingly though, I really enjoyed it. This was my first book by Brooke Harper, and even though the beginning moved as slow as traffic, I’m glad I didn’t give up. The main characters had good chemistry, and a few of the side characters stole the show for me (I'm looking at you, Iris). They gave the story some depth and balance that kept things interesting.

Now, let’s talk about the third act breakup.
But the part that almost lost me?

In the end, it was a fun read once it got going—familiar, yes, but still entertaining. I’ll definitely check out more from Brooke Harper, just maybe with a little more patience for the slow start.

I wanted to love this book so much. I’ve read all of Julia Quinn’s books and the Bridgerton series in particular got me back into reading. When I saw this was a retelling, I was like sign me tf up! Unfortunately, it didn’t deliver. I didn’t find the main characters compelling or even that likable. Stephan/Asher is incredibly arrogant and childish throughout the whole book. I expected this behavior in the beginning but he didn’t really grow out of it. He was marginally better at the end of the book.

If you’re looking for a strong FMC, Violet isn’t it. She’s a delicate wallflower who is aptly named. Again, no true character growth. It’s fine/real to have a character experience anxiety, but having her faint every two seconds was obnoxious. I could forgive this if her inner monologue was strong, but no. She’s the personality-proof princess. I kept waiting for her to shed that uncertainty and fear as she became more comfortable in her relationship but nope. The two MCs together have no chemistry outside of lust either. I found it odd that they didn’t really get to know each other that much. The author could’ve added small lines here and there about them getting to know each other but nada.

The main piece of conflict didn’t happen until 89% of the way through the book, per my kindle. Far too late to have a decent resolve that isn’t rushed.

Oh, and if you’re looking for a Regency era book, this also isn’t for you. Since it was a Bridgerton retelling, I was expecting that time period. I was so confused when they started mentioning technology. Then social media was dragged in too. Not my cup of tea. I also don’t believe it takes place in an English setting. I understand the locations are fictional but it was messing with the movie in my head when I was trying to give these characters a voice. I had no idea where they were in the world. It gives more Hollywood/the US vibes.

Just a swing and a miss.

Such a great retelling

Wow – this book was amazing! I loved that it was such a cool retelling of Bridgerton which certain parts were very similar to that series, but it was still uniquely its own. It also reads like a historical romance set in modern times – which I think is great!

Violet is the eldest daughter of a LOT of omegas. In fact, her family, the Gardners, are famous for being a family with so many – but due to some poor choices their father did before he passed, they are nearly broke. Violet, being the oldest, has tried to help shoulder the burden of her younger sisters.

Violet is set to be part of her first mating season, and she is not handling it well. Especially when her brother’s best friend, Stephen, comes back to town. Stephen is better known for his famous actor’s name, but here on Sabine, he just wants to be left alone. Until he meets Violet. He believes he just wants to help her, but when they start spending more time together to try to keep the vultures away, he starts feeling more for her.

Violet is just trying to find the best catch she can, that will help her take care of her family, but thoughts of Stephen are always there. She wants him but knows she could never have him… until another suitor nearly tries to do something horrible, and Stephen must step in and do something he swore he would never do. And their feelings just keep growing!

This story was fantastic, and I loved that there was even a Queen Bee who was the anonymous author of all the scandals just like in the other series. This story was wholly its own though, and I truly enjoyed reading it!

Everything you love from the omegaverse with a fresh twist!

If you like regency romances but want something modern - this is perfect for you! I'm not typically a regency fan, but Brooke Harper is a genuis for putting a modern omegaverse twist on the trope! I ate this up!! Like couldn't put it down, stayed up all night and paid for it the next day. Totally worth it! On the surface, Violet is the typical/perfect omega. She's sweet, innocent, vulnerable and pure. The embodiment of the perfect daughter and sister. She's actually so much more, but no one has ever glimpsed the real her except for Stephan. He accidentally sees her raw and true self and is hooked! And the best part is, he's an alpha completely uninterested in finding a mate! I love it when they try to fight their attraction because it's completely futile! As hard as he tries, Stephan falls hard for her. But he has secrets and pain he's tried to bury deep, so what happens when he can't give Violet the life he thinks she wants?
Overall - this is a totally addicting story! Full of swoon worthy and panty melting moments, tears and such a strong bond between sisters that will leave you wishing you were a Gardener sister! Seriously, these sisters are amazing to each other! They're hilarious, and so devoted/protective of each other. I loved it!

Violet’s father had been taken in an accident; her brother Heath is trying to manage the family funds but her father had lost a lot of their money. Violet was now of age she would now be doing her first Mating Season, her season to find a rich Alpha. If she could make an important match, it would solve her families’ problems. But, in her heart Violet wanted want all Omega’s wanted to have an Alpha to love her and she love them back and have lots of babies. Then Violet runs in to Stephan at the beach on a quiet night not knowing he is the famous movie star, Asher St. James aka Stephen nephew of the Monarch the very person running the Mating Season. As they are thrown together at the different events they hit upon a great idea to fake that they were going to be mated so they can both get through the Season unscathed. However, can they? What are the feelings the both of them are experiencing? Who is the Queen Bee that is reporting all the scandals of the season. Violet’s brother Heath is Stephen’s best friend what will happen if he finds out? Violet’s sister’s all four of them fill in the rest of the story plus a few catty “Karen’s” we all have had one in our life right? What of the secret Stephen keeps from Violet and why has the Monarch picked Violet to be next Luxe?

Imagine Bridgerton and all the pomp and circumstance, the queen picking her star of the season, the balls and events, the gossip and backstabbing all fueled by a mysterious gossip writer reporting little hints of mysterious gossip. Now set that in modern day with our mysterious writer posting on social media, add alphas and omegas, a famous movie star with a deep dark secret but still keep that high society, old fashioned rules of etiquette feel and you have this very interesting book.
At first the old and modern felt so opposed but once I let go of that sense of this is how things ‘should’ be and fully embraced the world the author had created I enjoyed it. The author did a great job of the relationship between Violet and Stephan, it flowed so well never feeling forced and I really grew to understand Violet’s love for him and why he made her feel so safe. The author was so vivid in describing his scent when she felt panic or anxiety that at some points I almost became convinced I could smell it too.
Loved the little touches within the book that really brought the characters to life, one of my favourites being Violet’s choice of wedding flowers, really showing her sweet thoughtful nature and her connection to her family.
Looking forward to Iris’ story in book 2.

Well what a season it was! When Violet has to take part in the mating season, with her quiet innocence and pleasing nature, she just wants a mate match that will help her family out of its financial difficulties and make their life easier. Stephan Asher, or Asher St James as he is known in the world of movies and acting, is only home for the summer, not in the hunt for a mate. When they first meet, they are both smitten with eachother, despite their denying it. Despite their blocking perfumes, they can still smell eachother, and the soothing scents of Stephan continually calm Violet down. There are plot twists you didn't see coming, there are scandals that are the talk of the town, and an overbearing monarch that rules the island. I loved how when it was just the two of them, Stephen and Violet were able to just be themselves. Violet was able to calm and not so liable to her anxiety and panic attacks. I loved how once they did mate, how hungry Violet was for more and to learn just what Stephan liked. The spice definitely kicked up a notch! I really enjoyed this Omegaverse story, and am looking forward to see what happens to Violets four sisters and her brother in the rest of the series. A great read!

This book took its time with me, and honestly, I loved that. It’s not loud or dramatic right out the gate. Instead, it builds slowly, carefully, wrapping you up in Violet’s world until you’re just in it—feeling everything right along with her.

Violet really got to me. She’s expected to be perfect, to smile, to perform, to mate well for the sake of her family. But underneath all that, there’s this quiet defiance. She doesn’t yell or fight back loudly, but she sees things. She questions them. And that made her feel so real.

And Stephan? He’s this closed-off storm of a man. Jaded, sharp, trying to outrun everything he’s buried. But something about Violet just slips past all that. Watching them circle each other, both trying not to want more, both failing—it was tense and emotional and honestly, kind of heartbreaking at times.

If you’re looking for a story that’s more about the undercurrent than the obvious, with layered characters and slow-building tension you can actually feel, this one’s absolutely worth the read. It’s soft, sharp, and surprisingly deep. Still thinking about it.

Vilolet had this moden day feel with a twist of Brigington. With the start of the season and the watchfull eyes from the Queen bee, no one is safe. And then there's the monarch as she goes about picking her Luxe for the season, but a certain Hollywood star, Asher St, james, aka Stephan, will turn heads this year with one in particular Violet. It was a little bit slow at first but once it got going I couldn't put it down.Violet is such a caring and sweet omega who loves to dance but suffers from Anxiety and has the waight on her shoulders as she trys to keep the family together but then she gets thrown into this year's season and the attention of a certain hot Hollywood star Stephan who's trying to escape for the season and stumbles upon Violet. There's this instant attraction, and the chemistry was off the charts. He's your typical dominant alpha. Strong handsome and definitely good in the bedroom department. But there was also this caring side that you only really saw with Violet, but it's not all smooth sailing, and there will be some bumps along the way, which got quite emotional towards the end but I loved how things ended up and I'm glad they got there happy ending.

Absolutely loved this, I'm a massive Bridgerton, Pride and Prejudice and Gossip Girl fan and this definitely has those vibes!

This book follows Violet's story as she enters her first season, all the anxiety and pressure she feels trying to hold her family together and make a good match to open up the prospects for her younger Omega sisters, hoping to gain help for her mother and Alpha brother after their fathers death and secret gambling habits.

Violet is a great character, not quite the wilting wallflower many believe her to be. Especially with Stephan bringing out the sides she's kept well hidden.
Stephan has experienced serious trauma and loss and unfortunately hasn't been able to find his way back since.

After an unexpected meeting, Violet and Stephan realise there's much to discover between the two of them. After some initial hiccups, things seem to be going well until he commits the ultimate betrayal, you'll have to read it to see what happens in the end!

Can't wait to see who is next and what the season holds for them and will we w=ever find out who Queen Bee is!

Bridgerton and Gossip Girl vibes, with a hint of Pride and Prejudice. Add in an omegaverse M/F romance and you have a very interesting read!
I will say the plot is VERY reminiscent of the first Bridgerton novel—complete with a similar hangup about pregnancy—albeit for different reasons.
Stephan was definitely the epitome of a flawed hero, and I may have found myself rolling my eyes at his broodiness a time or two—but I couldn’t help but appreciate the way he falls for our Violet. It doesn’t excuse the boundaries he crossed—and I wouldn’t have been mad to see him suffer a bit more. Violet was an absolutely lovely heroine and she really deserved the whole world—she was so willing to do everything in her power to help her family and those she loved.
She was willing to give up her dreams for her love. I was definitely ready to throw the book there for a while over the unfairness of certain actions done to her.
The case of characters is incredibly well rounded—and there are definitely more books to come—as many of these characters exude main character energy themselves.
Well written and fun to read—with enough spice to make it fun.

Violet is an intriguing blend of modern romance and omegaverse dynamics, set against a contemporary, Bridgerton-inspired backdrop. The story follows Violet, the eldest daughter of the prestigious Gardener family, who is constantly under pressure to meet society's high expectations. When she catches the eye of a powerful Alpha, her world turns upside down. But things take a complicated turn when she strikes a deal with Stephan Ashford, a charming but troubled Alpha with a notorious past, to enter a fake relationship.

The chemistry between Violet and Stephan is palpable, making the fake relationship trope engaging and exciting. Their growing connection adds depth, and the dark secrets lurking beneath their interactions keep the plot intriguing. However, at times, the pacing feels slow as the story builds toward its inevitable emotional climax.

Overall, Violet is a solid read for fans of omegaverse and fake relationships, with an emotionally satisfying conclusion and a compelling romance.

This was an engaging omegaverse romance for Violet and Stephan - think Bridgerton but set in modern times with alphas and omegas :) These two are both out for the mating season but for very different reasons. Her family is in severe financial trouble so a good match will help with that, and help with her four omega sisters' matches. Famous and hot actor, Stephen, doesn't actually want a mate at all so he's thrilled with the idea of a fake relationship with Violet, whom he's very attracted to. Forced proximity, scent and chemistry move this from fake to real but lies, omissions and betrayal crack through them, making sure they have lots of work to do to get that HEA they both deserve. The author put a really fun spin on this story with a mysterious character running comments on the gossip and tidbits of this season and I'm still guessing who The Queen Bee could be. I can't wait for the next book to get more clues...and to see who gets their match. Good fun!

Just think Bridgerton, but wolf shifters omegaverse…. I. Love. It.

Violet Gardener. Eldest daughter of the once-powerful Gardener family. They are struggling to reclaim their fallen status. With her father’s death looming over her family, the weight of securing not only her own future but also advantageous matches for her four younger sisters.

When Stephan is forced into mating season, he strikes a deal with Violet—a fake courtship that will appease both their families’ expectations. Much like Bridgerton, as the arrangement progresses, the lines between pretend and real start to blur, leading to unexpected feelings, real feelings.

There’s not a Lady Whistledown in this book, but there’s a Queen Bee- an anonymous blogger stirring the pot with scandalous gossip about the season’s events.

So yeah, if you loved Bridgerton then you NEED TO READ THIS BOOK!!!!! It was amazing and kept me on the edge of my seat.

Violet was everything I could have hoped for and more! I am such a Bridgerton fan, so knowing this had those elements but set in modern time with shifters gave me chills. I was so excited to see how this author would bring them all together. Omega Violet must find a mate. As the eldest daughter, it is her duty. Not everything goes according to plan, however, and when Stephan, the most eligible and lone alpha, comes into the mix, it only complicates things. The two decide they will work together by faking a match, so that Stephen can be left alone and Violet will become more desirable. But when not everything ends up feeling fake, can the two really keep up this facade? I loved this so much, and I can't wait for the next book with another couple! Hopefully we get to see Violet and Stephen make some cameos too, and I look forward to finding out more about Queen Bee, a Lady Whistledown-esque character.

Violet is quite suspenseful and a page turner of a romance story. This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time I was reading it. I also did NOT want to set this book down until I read the last page. The characters were quite amazing to get to know as their story is being told. The characters of this story are Violet and Stephan. Violet is an omega girl and Stephen is a famous actor and devastatingly handsome lone alpha. I absolutely could not get enough of their fantastic story. I do love that they have a happy ending to their fantastic story. Their story is fabulously written, well balanced and beautifully executed by Brooke Harper. This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I was completely blown away by the storyline. I would HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone to checkout and give it a read.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

“And in that moment, with my feet off the ground and fireflies twinkling like earthly stars all around us, I think I can do this. Because…because I’m pretty sure I’m falling for him.”

This was a good read, I enjoy an omegaverse book… this was a M/F omegaverse which I’m not used to as they are quite often RH.
It follows our FMC Violet and our MMC Stephan. Violet wants a mate more for her family than herself, Stephan doesn’t want a mate at all but when he is forced into the mating season he makes a deal with Violet. It starts out as a fake courting but things begin to blossom, however there are twists and turns within.
The whole Queen bee situation was very interesting and somewhat unique!

Overall a good book, I really loved Violet and I loved her family too. Wasn’t overly keen on Stephan though! I can’t wait to read the sisters books.

So I'll be the first to admit I watched one season of bridgerton, got mad he was leaving and dropped the series. I'll also admit i never read the books. I just didn't find them my style. However, I thoroughly enjoy Brooke's writing so when this was announced I was intrigued. Man I am so glad I took the chance because this book was beyond my expectations! I gobbled it up in 3 days top because life..
Violet joins the season as an eligible omega and hoping to bring her family up in society and find a good alpha. Stephan wants nothing to do with a mate or the season but finds fate throwing him in the ring. It's a wild ride but oh so good. The Gardner family is my favorite. All the side characters done so well. I love the way Violet comes to shine. Stephan has a tragic past but becomes so much and a great ending. I can't wait for Iris's book and what is going to happen next.

Okay Brooke, you got me!! I am not really a big fan of regency romance, but when you write it, Okay I am in. I tried watching Bridgeton and could not get into it. But with the way you write this world, and the characters, I was just hooked. Read Violet in two days. Could not put my kindle down, and when I had to take breaks I just kept coming back.

Violet is just wanting to be a good Omega and help her family raise up in society. If she can find a good alpha even better. But what happens when the one you want, does not want anything to do with a mate or the season? Now things get interesting. It sure is a bumpy ride, with some turns but it is worth it.

The story itself is well written, the characters are memorable and entertaining. The writing is so good you feel like you are watching a movie. Next we get Iris's story, I cannot wait!

I fell in love with this book and the characters.

Violet is a gem, she isn't the gun-ho strong character you see over and over. She is measured, she is trying to steer her family in the right direction - all whilst being in her first season.

As I think someone has already mentioned this is absolutely Pride and Prejudice meets Gossip Girl and I am here for it!

If you like big shocks in your romance then this is definitely for you - Stephan and Violet truly go through the wringer, navigating malicious rumours and certain events that could have easily put an end to their budding romance. ]

The romance really builds throughout this novel, this isn't an insta-love steam fest, it's much more nuanced and they really have to fight for their relationship.

I definitely cried tears of happiness and anger during the course of this book - I am hoping the next one is just as good!
